if you need practical cyber security projects or experience this is the video for you this is the second part of a video which has been doing very well on the channel a lot of people really found that valuable the very previous video that I published actually on projects that you can put on your resume and use as experience sort of like internships if you are looking to Pivot into cyber security or just looking to gain some more experience and knowledge again this is part two of that video because a lot of people find it valuable there four more companies in the United States and outside which have incredibly valuable projects that you can use as internships on your resume and as experience so you can complete these as virtual projects or internships the benefit of this is they're pre-recorded projects or videos so you can definitely pace yourself through them and do them at your own pace so you can slow down and really soak in the knowledge or get through them in a reasonable pace so you can be able to get through them and move on to the next phase and learning more and more and building yourself up to pivoting in cyber security or just building more knowledge so if you haven't watched the previous video definitely check that out for even more companies in United States and outside United States and let's look at four more let's get into it right now all right so number one we are looking at is with PWC and this is with PWC Switzerland so if you're not familiar with PWC this is really like a Consulting agency and auditing uh here in the United States I'm familiar with them in the area of tax but they also do different things so with this course You' been learning cyber security and how to combat cyber security threats with pwc's cyber security team and really it's a risk free way to experience on the job with you know their their swizerland location practicing your skills with examples and how to build your confidence to A's applications so really what this is about is helping you to stand out when it comes to Applications primarily their company and also other companies as well so you would actually show yourself to be a motivated candidate somebody who know yourself somebody who can stand out somebody who can actually do the job and this one is you'll be able to complete it within 3 to four hours if you pace yourself well I would say you know set aside like a day or two it says 3 to four hours but soak in the material you know you're looking to learn risk management framework you're looking to learn principles of Defense cause analysis of different you know uh events risk impact analysis to businesses in this in this case pwc's business presentation prep how to speak to different stakeholders how to speak to you know more technical folks how to you know present yourself in meetings impact analysis and different things that's of that nature so how it works is this one is particularly broken into four different tasks and in task one which is 30 to 60 Minutes you'll learn about integrating defense and cyber security how to recognize information security uh dangers and biases and different things of that sort task two you will learn different things like economizing information security concerns how to to differentiate between types of risk assessments and in task three you also learn about vulnerability assessments which is great scanning which is important and mitigation which is important so this are definitely great things that you'll be learning in this course and PWC like I said it's a big company I don't know anybody who has not heard of PWC if you're looking to Pivot in this industry or if you're already in this industry so this is one that you definitely want to check out it says Switzerland but of course this is a free program that you can learn learn remotely and I think everybody should be able to jump on this one and definitely learn it and that's company number one jumping the company number two all right so the next one we're looking at is with telra cyber security and really telra is a Australian telecommunications and technology company and they offer a full range of communication services and they compete in telecommunication markets so you go in a company really it's like going on Verizon or T-Mobile you would think they're selling phones but really they in the Telecommunications industry and in this program you will be getting the opportunity to step into their shoes of a testra team member and complete tasks that replicate the work that they actually do on their cyber security team on a day-to-day basis as well as learn how to communicate how to mitigate and reflect on a distributed Deni of service attacks so this is big stuff that you learning on the job stuff that you're learning really integrating with their team and learning how to do this job if you're pivoting into cyber security or if you just want more experience so this is a job simulation is free for students anybody can sign up this is a program that is self-paced it's one to two hours if you complete it you know on your pace you get practical knowledge practical skills and you can put this on your resume for sure so a lot of people were asking about that in the previous video how can I put this on my resume I actually will link a video down below U from a YouTuber that actually very much respect Josh maore on how to use these things on your resume it's another view that I actually would probably do on this just so I have one on my on my channel as well so you can put these things on your resume so testra is offering this discovering cyber security at testra and how this is broken up is and I love this especially for Security operation centers or sock a lot of people looking to get into sock and this is something that you can definitely get some experience in try as the alerts and respond to the mware attacks by contacting the appropriate team so you learning cyber sco you're learning the protection and response you're learning research you're learning Communications and you're learning teamwork so you analyzing attacks you looking at how to mitigate mware attacks and you're looking at incident post modem so what you do after incident so this is really really some I don't know how they pack this into 2 hours if you can really slow down and learn these things it would do you much good there's some testimonials here so definitely learn this put it on your resume and benefit from that really really good stuff so that's coming company number two so let's get into the next one and actually I'm saving the best for last but before we get to that one let's look at one more here number three which is with Datacom now Datacom cyber security is really an investigative cyber security simulation where you look at attacks and conduct a comprehensive risk assessment with Datacom and their team so this one is 3 to four hour self- pce as well really helping you to stand out on your application and show yourself as a candidate and it's a again just a risk-free way to learn security learn research learn uh analytic skills learn communication risk assessment risk management and security analysis so this one let's look at the the task what you will be learning so you'll be learning cyber security consultantship helping evaluate impacts from a sophisticated cyber security attacks and in task two you will also be learning how to identify how to evaluate how to prioritize potential cyber security threats vulnerabilities to determin the level of risk and develop plans to mitigate those risk so basic cyber security stuff great stuff if you're looking to get into the field one to two hours knock out one task one to two hours you knock out the other task and you really are getting some experience that like I said definitely can put on your resume definitely will be able to learn some stuff even if you
