I was running the 500 Startups Accelerator program then. So I made him an offer on that and he was like, push back on the valuation. So went away.
Later came back and tried to see if he would, you know, take something at a higher price because I was... talking with some mentors of mine who also wanted in so there was like more momentum now on this but at that point he already was like i'm doing enough revenue i don't i don't need your money and and that was it yeah he gave me a cat he gave me a t-shirt but yeah yeah but that was it and he he literally only raised like half a million dollars or a little less than half a million dollars until the most recent race which was in the billions of dollars valuation yeah this guy's bootstrapped that bad boy
