in a galaxy far far away no that's not it in the year 257 there's a spaceship called Serenity no that's not it either millions of miles from here out in deep space is the planet vilum a cool blue Oasis alone in a solar system much like our own yep that's the one that's the line that introduces the world around which the entire storyline of the Invincible comic series evolves and if you can't already tell it's a major misdirection I mean sure VTR is a lot like Earth in its ecosystem but it is far from being a cool blue Oasis with a world betterment committee like we were initially led to believe it's a planet that births and breeds some of the most Savage conquerors in the universe and in this video we will take a look at the entire history of their Intergalactic Empire from their Golden Age under the first emperor argle to the many issues caused by the ri of the Grayson family this is the entire law of the vitam Empire from their false history to their true history explored let's begin benevolent aliens that want to make the universe better how the VTR Empire is introduced the viltrumite Empire is intr introduced in the second issue of invincible as this technologically advanced super benevolent race of aliens who exist for but one purpose to make the universe a better place for the past few years before that issue's time period a mysterious superhuman called omn man had been defending the world and no one had any idea who he was or where he came from after spending a few months of Earth this man whose civilian identity was Nolan Grayson married a woman he rescued called Debbie and started a family of his own it was difficult juggling the responsibilities of being a parent and being a superhero so when his son Mark turned seven Nolan decided to tell him the truth seven is too young to grasp the minua of body language but it is old enough to understand what you're being told on a baseline level so when your dad tells you he's an alien who poses as a superhero to keep the world safe and it explains all those mysterious disappearances it makes sense Nolan tells Mark that he was born born on VTR whose inhabitants are a lot like humans 99.9% in fact but that point 1% of genetic differences between the two species made viltrumites superheroes compared to regular men they can fly they have enhanced senses and durability they have super strength and super speed but above all they have a benevolent Spirit Nolan describes vilum as a perfect Global Society a relative Utopia in all the ways that mattered there were no Wars no illnesses no murders the people lived happy peaceful lives dedicated to advancing the one biological goal of every species Evolution once VTR was perfected the High viltrumite Council refused to let their society become quote unquote complacent council members debated the merits of reveling in their new found Perfection against sharing it with those they found to be less developed than themselves and it was unanimously decided that the latter path held more Merit shortly after this idea was approved the world betterment committee was founded and it enacted a three-stage plan to spread vtr's advanced technology and ideologies throughout the known universe the committee would first identify other planets that were in a crucial stage of their development cycle these planets had civilizations that had progressed far enough to show the potential for greatness but not so far that their ultimate fate had been decided the viltrumites would dispatch warships to such planets orbits to keep it safe from other extraterrestrial forces and once that was guaranteed a team of scientists would descend to the surface and help Advance the planet Society with viltrumite teachings they would stay behind to monitor the progress of said progress while the world betterment committee repeated this process for other worlds with sentient races it's true that with their technology vites could have condensed a 100 Years of technological advancement into 365 days had they chosen Earth as one of their targets but alas they didn't the committee believed that Earth was too far from their home world to help in a meaningful way so they rejected the suggestion and the scientist who'd made it Nolan himself being a part of world betterment was quite The Fad back at VTR and Nolan had joined the team of Scouts about 3 years before he discovered Earth when he did he pleaded with the High Council to add it to their betterment schedule because he'd become fascinated by its people during their long and arduous Journey to the soul system Nolan had used the Vite betterment space station to perform deep space scans that allowed him to see Earth's civilization firsthand he thought that its people had potential but they did not the council rejected Nolan's proposal on the basis of Earth's crude technological prowess so he made a different proposal to go full native he said that he would go to the planet and become its sole protector because he thought that its people deserved someone like him the council warned him that once he left the ship he might be too far away for them to intervene but he left anyway he fell in love when he flew through its Skies the first time and he was reminded of his purpose when he made his first save rescuing civilians from a crumbling building from that moment onward Nolan had served as Earth's first line of defense against problems both within and without which including things like water dragons and a suspicious oneeyed alien Nolan explained to his son that he was telling him all this because once he reached puberty his body body would start going through changes he will develop acne his voice will crack he'll be hunting girls the way his dad hunts criminals but above all there was a chance that Mark would manifest his powers omn man's duties were too numerous for him to operate solo forever so when the comic creators zoomed in on his mustache smile we figured it was anticipation for that we had no idea the kind of nightmare that we were in for once mark manifested his powers at the age of 17 omn man started training him personally he took over observing his flight lessons his fighting lessons and he even took him out on patrol on a few occasions when Mark started working with the teen team omn man didn't object because to him his son was just getting his superhero reps in every moment he spent training his power grew and Nolan Grayson was just fine with it a few months into their Association as a fatherson crime fighting Duo the flying graysons were struck by the biggest tragedy in the superhero Community someone had massacred the entire Guardians of the globe team and Mark wasn't sure who could have done such a thing before his dad came to Earth the Guardians leader Immortal was the strongest superhero on Earth he had lived for thousands of years but even he had been dispatched with frightening ease it was when the immortal miraculously returned from the dead and engaged Nolan in a battle that the truth finally came out the guardian's murderer was none other than omn man himself Immortal was in a bloodlusted rage when he was fighting the man he thought was his friend because of course he was omn man had pretended to be their Ally for close to two decades and just when things were actually going well he turned on them and slaughtered his supposed friends Immortal was in the middle of demanding answers when Mark arrived to see his dad fighting his uncle essentially he was horrified when omn man rammed his right hand through immortal's chest and his horror knew no bounds when he discovered the truth about his Race's history you've dis your people a vile race of Barbarians with superpowers the truth about viltrumites with his cover completely blown Nolan had no choice but to tell his son the truth so tell him the truth he did or at least the version that he was aware of Nolan admitted that he was from the planet VTR and they did in fact have a perfect Global Order but it wasn't nearly as utopian as he made us believe it was in fact it was achieved through an extensive series of civil conflicts where the stronger members of VTR Society purged the weaker ones in Nolan's first origin story VTR was depicted as this Serene blue planet with technologically advanced architecture that's standard for a Sci-Fi series like Invincible we never introduced to any of its Flora or forer because we never get to spend enough time with the planet but all in all VTR is depicted as a paradise land however when he tells the truth about his world the Serene Blues are replaced with fiery Reds and vtr's environment looks a lot lot like the destroyed surface of Krypton 50% of the planet's population was eradicated during the Great Purge and the ones that survived adopted a might makes right mentality once the planet was rebuilt and there was no weakness in their society anymore the high VTR Council declared that their efforts would be turned from within to without it was unanimously decided that an Intergalactic Planetary Empire should be established in the light of their Newfound Supremacy because all Races in the universe deserved to be ruled by the strongest that being the viltrumites this led to the creation of the world conquering committee not the world betterment committee and their three-step plan for converting planets to the viltrumite way first targets were identified on the basis of civilizational development if there was a planet with sentient life that had advanced technology but their technology wasn't Advanced enough to pose a threat to the Empire it was put on the short list to be conquered the second stage involved deploying Global watchtowers which served as mobile military bases for conquests they were stocked with supplies and surveillance gear and everything else that a viltrumite could possibly need to prepare for an invasion and the third stage involved sending a team of Representatives to announce the viltrumites Takeover if the Lesser species was smart enough to know it had no chance of standing up to them they quickly bent the knee and were given access to the viltrumites life-altering technology if they resisted they were wiped out without discrimination this simple strategy proved to be lethal in its Effectiveness and when the High Council was convinced they should double down on their efforts VTR could no longer go back on what they were doing to the universe viltrumite Society is based completely around a militaristic natural selection based hierarchy all viltrumites wear white in their civilian and professional lives which reflects their homogenized worldview the men always sport mustaches to signify their masculinity and the women wear cropped hair or short ponytails you might have noticed that those are both military style haircuts and you are not wrong all vites dedicate themselves to the Art of War so their entire culture is like being part of one giant army they teach their offspring to be completely loyal to their parents because in the battlefield insubordination can mean instant death and defeat they look at sex as nothing more than a tool for procreation and viltrumite marriages are as cold as they come in fact they don't even really get married or take on names that signify their individuality with many viltrumites adopting names that are based on Concepts like Conquest for instance because of this highly militaristic Outlook all vites have a deep sense of Duty and loyalty to their empire and their individual missions it's said that after The Purge no Vite ever put their hands on another because all were unified by their goal of universal domination and once business picked up the world conquering committee became the place to be VTR started enlisting forces from the many planets they had subjugated and though they weren't as efficient as the viltrumite army they were efficient enough to assist in the Empire's expansion Nolan believes he was born during this golden age of expansion and that there was no other time as glorious as this one to be born in growing up the world conquering committee was all the rage so he naturally wanted to become a part of it he joined it as a search Committee Member but after 3 years of constant audition and achieving impeccable results he rose up to become a part of the expansion Force Nolan was one of vtr's fiercest colonizers it didn't matter to him if a mission took a 100 days or a 100 years to accomplish he would ensure victory in each and every case eventually he was given command over a unit of his own and he even received multiple Awards and commendations for expanding the borders of their empire to the farthest reaches of the universe but then something changed because of their constantly moving War Machine the VTR Empire's forces ended up getting stretched too thin all their efforts and resources were being focused on simply maintaining control over their current territory and expansion was brought to a screeching halt seeing as this went in the completely opposite direction to their Collective philosophy a new means of Conquest was devised it was decided that VTR would no longer send in massive task forces to decimate planets instead they'd send in a single Soldier as a sleeper agent who would be given 500 years to bring the planet under their personal control before adding it to the larger Empire considering the fact that viltrumites can live as long as if not longer than the immortal those five centuries would be a blip on their radar once they were up the Empire would use all the knowledge accumulated by their Sleeper Agent to quickly subjugate the populace this agent would also protect the planet from external threats while ensuring internal developments didn't reach a point where they could be harmful to viltrumites like the Space Racers gun compared to the constant Waring that he saw in his early life his time on Earth was like a vacation but Nolan had to learn how to adjust to his environment he admitted that he found earthlings too primitive and UNC for his taste and that his first year on the planet was spent in abject misery he had established a cover for himself as an alien Defender but the more he deployed the more he became convinced that Earth and danger were synonymous with one another his only Solace perhaps was the fact that they all had their individual identities and it wasn't until he met Debbie that his opinion of humans really began changing for a Time Nolan put aside his duties as a viltrumite Invader and really embraced the life of omn man he started having fun going on missions with the Guardians and the rest of Earth's heroes or just by himself being Guided by the director of the global Defense Agency cesil Stedman when Mark was born he almost abandoned his mission altogether because he knew that his son could show the committee proof of a different future for their race and he was aware that Debbie would never accept his true nature she knew the same sugarcoated version of his Origins that he'd given Mark at age seven so the Revelation that he was there to subjugate Earth would have driven her away from him blowing his cover he decided to play Things close to his chest until the day Mark started showing signs of having powers once that happened Nolan knew he could no longer avoid the topic of the invasion because before long they would be the only people to remember the true history of the Planet vites lived such long lifespans that he knew the real truth would eventually come out so when Mark saw him kill Immortal he had no option but to own up to it and try to convert him on the spot when it became clear that Mark wasn't ready to do that Nolan used Force to make his son see reason and he used the fact that they were effectively Immortal to sway his heart Nolan told him that his mother was nothing but a pet to him and that in their 500 years of rule several women like Debbie would come and go but in an everchanging World they would be the only constants and he hopes that Mark would agree with him because he's trying to convince himself as well the truth is by this point Nolan had truly started doubting his mission so the words he was throwing at his son were directed towards him as well he beat Mark into a pulp nearly drowned him at the bottom of the ocean and threw him into a glacial Mountain because he was hoping to knock some sense into him but when his bloody mess of a son told him that he'd still have him 500 years later Nolan Grayson realized the weight of his mistakes he started crying and left Earth's orbit because he'd nearly beaten the only sign of his true self to death Nolan became the first pure blooded viltrumite to change and take a stance against the empire but that is under the new regime the thing is even the history that Nolan recounts here isn't entirely accurate because much of Vite culture is based on propaganda the series would go on to reveal that the Great Purge wasn't exactly the starting point for current viltrumite culture it was a turning point there was an era before that which saw thousands of years of peace and prosperity and Nolan just happened to be born on the other side of a Thanos esque genocide well that isn't entirely accurate either but let us explain the true history of VTR first and then we'll get into all the juicy stuff the first emperor and the Golden Age argle the great it's quite possible that true viltrumite history stretches back to hundreds of thousands of years but we wouldn't know it because vilam went through so many problems in its relatively recent past that discovering the truth has become secondary maybe that's why not many surviving viltrumites can think of a time before Aral the man recognized as the first true emperor of VTR viltrumites were a lot like humans in the beginning because they also didn't have powers through Millennia worth of evolution on a planet that has 1.5 times Earth's gravity as well as genetic engineering they became a race possessed of superpowers we know genetic engineering can greatly augment me an individual's strength because that's how Allan the alien got his powers now imagine a program like the one he was put through less desperate in its goal and implementation but on a planetary scale that's basically the evolutionary history of the viltrumites they paired natural selection with scientific advancement to become a race so powerful they were essentially gods they could fly through space for 2 weeks without resting they could blow up a planet's core if they wanted to they could live for a million years if someone else didn't kill them and they were perfectly immune to most known pathogens in the universe Vite DNA reached such a level of dominance and Purity that it became powerful enough to overwrite the DNA of any other rest they chose to breed with but that's where argal came in he was a member of one of the strongest dynasties in the planet's history and though he wasn't the strongest himself he was the most cunning he knew that his people would stagnate if they fought each other because not all viltrumites evolved equally argle wanted even the weakest of them to Prosper because he knew that the weakest viltrumite was still stronger than anyone else in the universe so he instituted a high Council and turned vtr's attention to the galaxies beyond their solar system he turned the viltrumites into a conqueror species but because he treated his own with benevolence and Justice he was enshrined as argol the great for 5,000 years arol ruled over vilam and every planet that it conquered with an iron fist but because he was fair to his people he was never really questioned or made to abdicate his throne over time argul's Empire became so vast that he had to hide every single Royal heir that he had produced his enemies would have killed his children and though viltrumites didn't exactly feel love back then the emperor knew the preservation of power was synonymous with the preservation of the Royal bloodline he scattered his children across his many Global outposts and Colony planets choosing to focus on consolidating power instead argol had a Vite called thrag administered with every kind of technological and intellectual advancement that was available to his species his goal was to turn thrag into the fist of vilum an unbeatable force that no enemy of his could bypass he did manage to turn thrag into the strongest viltrumite by far and with his completion the planet vilum was at the cusp of a new stage in its existence they had the technology the military Arrangement and the determination to make their Golden Age Everlasting Aral was on the precipice of universal domination but his plans were brought to a screeching halt by something he could have never imagined betrayal from one of his own the assassination that changed it all and why Earth was really Chosen thrag and the scourge vites are taught from birth to be loyal to the Empire first and foremost any sign of treason was grounds for execution and after arle brought them centuries of peace and prosperity who would be stupid enough to question his authority well there was one viltrumite who managed to shake off the cobwebs of propaganda and see argle for what he truly was a murderous Tyrant that man was called fadus and with an enormous degree of self-restraint and careful planning he managed to do something most viltrumites thought was impossible kill argle fadus was born on vilum like most other viltrumites from the series he was no doubt subjected to the same propaganda that United his Planet through the promise of Conquest but somehow he managed to break free of those shackles and see his beloved Emperor for what he really was a Madman with several thousand guns fadus was a part of the council that made all decisions with relation to the future of their race and when he saw argle promoting the genocide of other alien species to preserve his own his heart swayed fadus drove a bone dagger so far into the first Emperor's skull that it cracked and pieces of it went missing in later years he then escaped VTR and went into the furthest reaches of space intent on stopping his people once and for all no one knows exactly how fadus k arle because despite not being the strongest he was still a pretty resilient 5,000 year old man the Royal Family's strength is undeniable among viltrumites so killing argle should have been difficult even for thrag but thus somehow managed to do it with a piece of bone something that by rights should have been deflected off of argo's skin whether it was his viltrumite strength or the idea that the bone he used came from a rognar one thing is certain thad's killing of argol was what began the Great Purge thrag who had risen to become one of aro's Chief military advisers realized the chaos that the news of the Betrayal would spread among his people so he covered it up by declaring natural causes as argul's cause of death he then instigated The Purge to ensure that such a thing never occurred ever again it was a violent Affair that lasted for several Generations but in the end thrag managed to Cull half of his native race ensuring that only the fittest survived he then took control of the viltrumite Empire and as its Grand Regent and installed all the systems that Nolan came to be a part of in later years frag claimed that he would only be grand Regent so long as argul's descendants went undiscovered as soon as they were found he would abdicate the throne to them because they were the rightful Heirs of his former leader thrag was morbidly obsessed with argul's Legacy after his death he kept the first Emperor's skull beside him as a Keepsake and when no one was watching thrag would talk to it through his consolidation of the Empire's sons and daughters had come to believe that he was the rightful heir to aro's throne not his missing Sons so his Earnest searches for them became not so Earnest and he started focusing solely on the Empire's expansion for a thousand years the viltrumites went unopposed Civil War had hardened them into unrelenting Warriors that were even more powerful than before it's possible that the world conquering committee was established by argle during this era or that it already existed in one form and he perfected it with his military genius either way Vite expansion was in free flow when the species was hit by the greatest weapon they had ever encountered not a Genetically Enhanced Soldier like Allen not a natural alien species like the rognar not even the Claus plant which weakens viltrumites with its poison they took care of that problem by infesting the planet where it grew with beetles that devoured the plant faster than it could germinate the viltrumites biggest threat was the traitor they forgot who ended up using his own blood to create a weapon that would exterminate them all while in ex fadus gathered the support of planets that agreed with his philosophy that if nothing was done about the vites they would eventually scour the universe clean of the species they perceived to be filth he hid his viltrumite Heritage from all but a select few and put on a fake beard to conceal his true identity fadus established the Coalition of planets and got to work on solving the problem that were his former countrymen for a thousand years he used every conventional trick in the book but nothing worked finally he had to accept that only viltrumite blood could infect another Vite their DNA structure was so Advanced that pathogens based in anything else never took hold in their bodies but if fetus's blood was used to create a virus it was guaranteed to succeed at least on some level if their targets bodies couldn't isolate the infiltrator from its own genetic makeup it would become possible to severely weaken if not outright kill a vomite thus had no idea just how effective this virus was because he didn't want to risk losing sever several thousand lives just to administer it by force he trusted a clandestine mission to accomplish the coalition's goal and he wouldn't find out just how much he'd succeeded until several centuries later when the scourge virus hit VTR it turned that Merry blue Oasis of killers into a planetary tomb those who managed to remove themselves from its effective range immediately were the lucky ones once the virus entered your body even quarantining yourself wasn't enough if it didn't kill you it would weaken you to the point that any other life form could kill you and because the Glorious expansion could never stop viltrumites on every Global Outpost colony and their home planet itself started dropping like flies 99.9% of their entire population was wiped out leaving less than 50 surviving viltrumites seeing his people's desperate position thrag ordered that killing another viltrumite would now be a severely punishable offense and that the rest of the world should be fed lies and propaganda the greatest secret about the vilt Empire is the fact that there is no Empire anymore it's just two score soldiers scrambling to maintain control under the watchful eye of another mad Tyrant thrag had the bodies of every viltrumite that succumbed to the scourge put into orbit around their home there were so many viltrumites that vilam eventually gained a ring despite not being a ring planet VTR was turned into a tribute to all the Fallen Sons and Daughters of their once glorious Empire and the rest of the survivors took to the Stars thrag told the world that there is expansion efforts were on pause because they were stretched too thin but truthfully the viltrumites were desperate to repopulate themselves argul's law against interbreeding with lesser species was lifted in favor of survival the vites that remained M with several alien species to mixed results but they never stopped searching for a viable breeding race luckily for them that race was discovered when Nolan found Earth and they realized that earthlings were 99 some per similar to them in terms of genetics they would be the perfect breeding race to bring VTR back to its glory and that is why omn man originally arrived on Earth but when he had Mark and he spent time raising his son his heart turned soft like thad's Nolan ended up abandoning his post instead of killing his son for VTR because he loved him and his wife a lot more than that damned Empire when he was in jail with Alan the alien he probably didn't realize that Allan cosying up to him was by Design after meeting invincible and learning that there was a pure-blooded Vite who abandoned his post Allan got permission from the leader of the Coalition of planets badas himself to get captured and be put in a viltrumite prison where Nolan was being held after his little detour with the threns over time Allan gained his trust and the two formed a genuine friendship that blossomed into a conqueror smashing Duo on the day Nolan was to be executed in accordance with viltrumite tradition he and Allan staged a successful jailbreak and Nolan was brought to Talisa the capital city of the Coalition there he revealed the real truth about the viltrumites to its leader who he was shocked to discover was a Vite himself Fus would explain his tale to Nolan later on because right now they had bigger fish to fry during his time on Earth Nolan had written several science fiction novels that accurately detailed potential threats to viltrumite physiology thus commanded his new Soldier and his new best friend to go forth and gather all the items and creatures from those books because with three sons of VTR on their side they have a Fighting Chance For the first time in history the Coalition can fight fire with fire without risking the exposure of their leaders secret Mark of course agrees to join their campaign because a he wants revenge against conquest and B he can't stand vites for the first time in their lives omn man and both of his sons team up and fight for the good guys with nothing but ideals of genuine Liberty driving their feet this results in something argle could have never imagined and thrag never thought would come to pass the destruction of VTR itself the final days and destruction of VTR the viltrumite war once Nolan joined up with the Coalition as a reformed viltrumite intent on stopping his own people it was clear that the Allied planets would never be in a better position than this thus realized that he had practically driven his own species to Extinction with the scourge and though he was saddened by this he wasn't swayed from his purpose the discovery that more viltrumites existed in the universe motivated him to create a new stronger version of The Scourge with no possibility of survival the fact that the Empire had less than 40 soldiers changed his entire perception of Vite defenses he knew that they must be maintaining control through the illusion of strength in numbers because the true reason they were stretched thin was that there just weren't enough of them if there was ever a time to go on the offensive it was now so thus sent Nolan and Allen on a mission to retrieve every possible thing they could find that has a proven track record when it comes to defeating vites they freed Space Racer from his asteroid belt prison because his Infinity gun is one of the only weapons in the universe that can cleave viltrumites in two they traveled to the Ragnar's home planet to try and capture one of them because they were so powerful that the vites defeated them with science not might they hid their sun behind a disc that froze the planet's surface and the rognar themselves being nearly indestructible creatures they didn't die but they were considerably slowed down and thoring them out would prove proved to be a difficult task Nolan told his Coalition allies to Simply move the sundisk but then they blew it apart so the rognar sprang back into action within a few minutes of being Tha out Nolan and Allan were unable to capture one but with them being awake again they had a lethal diversion for the viltrumites in their bag they also collected The Beetles that ate Claus constantly to collect the poison from their bodies and weaponize it for the upcoming War every Coalition planets Army was given Claus imbued Weaponry which increased their resistance to the viltrumites exponentially once every toour was gathered and put in place Nolan and his sons set out to find battle Beast and the rest of the items from his books but they were attacked by the feared viltrumite called Conquest he separated the graysons from the Coalition through his Vendetta with Mark and though Invincible killed his greatest enemy at that time he was put out of commission for several months he crash landed on an isolated planet with several centipede likee creatures for its natural inhabitants and while his dad and brother helped him recover the Coalition went ahead with its plan of attack they lost a couple of planets to the viltrumites but ultimately their plan was such a success that it actually started pushing back thr's forces they were gearing up for an attack on the key Outpost called ddal when suddenly Anissa burst through Talisa crying bloody murder turns out there was a mole in the Coalition and though thus was aware of this he didn't know the mole's identity it was thanks to this traitor that Conquest attacked the Grayson when he did and that the ultramite warship governed by thus was now over Talisa Skies turns out that person was none other than one of the twin data managers and when the innocent one discovers this truth he shoots his sibling to death A fitting sentence for treason the graysons arrive at talisca just in time to stop the viltrumite assault and they managed to contain every other viltrumite they come up against but even Nolan has to admit that nothing they do will ever be enough to stop thrag he was bred to be the strongest filtrite in history trained since the moment he opened his eyes thrag proved the truth of these statements by nearly beating Mark senseless but because he and Oliver blew up the viltrumite warship that served as his home base thrag also knew that he needed to rest strategize his approach to the Coalition problem he withdrew every viltrumite back to their home planet where he was going to make their Last Stand thrag was a smart Grand Regent he knew that being pushed back at Talisa was enough to make the planets under his control Rebel and join the Coalition the best place to fight back would be a place whose defenses he was acquainted with intimately and there was no other place like that in the universe save vilum the planet's surface had been and waited for the great betrayer to show up when thus and his Advanced Force finally arrived thrag soldiers gained the upper hand they were beating the ever living crap out of Nolan his sons battle Beast and the rest of their allies but Space Racer rushing to the scene with captive rognar was what turned the tide of the war he created enough of a distraction for thus to put his ultimate plan into motion the destruction of VTR in DC Krypton blowing up due to various revised reasons was the Lynch pin that got Superman to Earth in Invincible Superman himself destroys Krypton after a fashion Nolan Mark and thus use Space Racers guns to cut a path to the planet's surface they then rushed towards its core at the highest speed possible because slowing down for even a second would allow it to stabilize itself the trio of viltrumite traitors blew straight through their home planet's core putting it at the mercy of nature she took care of the rest as the legacy of the worst race in the universe was reduced to atom and Ash thrag enraged by this development decapitated thus and declared argul's Vengeance finally accomplished but even he knew that things were over for his campaign his race was down to 37 pure blooded members and they no longer had lies to protect themselves every planet knew that the viltrumites were at the edge of Extinction and now they had weapons that they could use to kill them all knowing this thrag stopped his maing of invincible and omn man Midway because he knew he could no longer restore vtr's Glory the planet that subjugated much of the cosmos was finally dead but the adherence of its might makes right philosophy weren't they survived through the survivors and that's what makes thrag such a scary individual he relocated his entire race to Earth and used their presence to cut a deal with Mark and omn man they knew they had no chance of beating him by themselves and he knew that fighting them would put an end to his actual plan thrag wanted his remaining subordinates to breed with humans until they were powerful and populous enough to call themselves an Empire once more and Invincible had no choice but to accept for a time he and thrag cooperated under the gu of protecting the Earth from Mutual threats but that all ended when Mark got exposed to the improved Scourge virus and the attempt to rescue him revealed the truth about his lineage thousands of years after abandoning his mission to find argul's Hees thrag was enraged by the realization that his Race's second betrayal was the legacy of their beloved Emperor he instigated a battle with Nolan intent on preserving his status as the grand Regent of a dead Planet but blood is stronger than words br's battle was witnessed by some of his closest generals who upon realizing Nolan's parentage switched sides Nolan became the second emperor of VTR and he organized his people into becoming more benevolent and kind over time if a man can lighten the black heart of a woman like Anissa then he can do pretty much anything which Nolan proved during his time as emperor not only did he make the viltrumites A Better People by encouraging the human connections that former villains like Lucan and Craig had developed he also showed them the value of Mercy by letting thrag live despite committing high treason Nolan exiled thrag instead of killing him in accordance with viltrumite tradition and this came back to bite him in the head big time instead of accepting his defeat thrag took over the thron race and over the course of several years produced enough Offspring with them to have his own private Army of ultra powerful children with these kids he launched his final desperate attempt at killing omn man and invincible and though he succeeded in doing the former the latter eventually won one out Mark Grayson engaged his toughest challenge in life in a battle to the death drawing him closer and closer to the surface of the sun because of the effect it had on their bodies he used robot's assistance to delay his own demise just enough that thrag would end up becoming weaker than him when Mark punched him into the sun he won a fight not just for himself or his people's Liberation but for the entire universe thrag was The Last Remnant of the militant mentality of the VTR Empire every other Soldier had been reformed by no 's judicious and kind nature with his demise the vilum of old was finally gone and Mark Grayson emerged as their third emperor in a way he might as well have been their first because he presided over an era of true benevolence under him the viltrumites no longer killed to expand they killed to protect and for a race that was as violent as the Sans that's immense progress VTR can no longer dictate the fate of the universe and if you ask us that's a good thing no one man should have all that power power and even if he does he should be a man like Mark Grayson not a crazed fanatic like thrag the grand Regent's intention backfired completely and in the end he became the reason for vtr's Destruction that's bloody ironic if you ask us but also poetic in that the viltrumites finally got what they deserved marvelous verdict and speaking of what you deserve we hope you guys enjoyed this video because that's all we've got for you guys vtr's history is unique in that it has so many layers and false Flags you need to claw the truth out of people but once you do you realize just how tragic they all were and how lucky they all are to share so much in common with Humanity if they didn't Nolan likely
