undeniably smug expression he is holding two swords there are two swords on the ground behind him and there are two figures tune into the body language of these figures the figure here has his back to us he's walking away with slump shoulders looking pretty defeated the figure in the back even worse face in the hands tional distraught not having a good time tune into the setting notice that there's water churning Behind these figures there's distant land the swirling dark gray clouds that are just amplifying the tension of this card pretty dramatic so what does it mean recall that the suit of Swords is about the mind and the intellect and often the ways that we communicate with each other there's three people in this image here they are communicating and sure doesn't look very kind so when you see this card I want you to imagine that this is the aftermath of some sort of fight this is a verbal disagreement and people are up for the most part this guy doesn't look too upset does he the man looking all smoke here with the swords I want you to imagine that he is the winner he is holding his swords but at what cost the other two figures here they're walking away whether that be defeat or forfeit their swords are on the ground and they are heading away towards the water recall from a previous card the two of swords that the water in the background here can be representative of emotions this man here the winner he's satisfied with his Conquest but he's probably pretty indifferent to the emotional turmoil that he's caused these two others cuz he's so wrapped up in the fact that he has W even the clouds here are highlighting the heavy energy of this moment there's no Sunny resolution here so when you see this card remember this is an aftermath of a fight but I want you to also remember that sometimes winning will leave everybody worse off even this guy he'll see it coming later so now that we've decoded the imagery let's bring this card to life in love career and spirituality and where better should start than love cuz if there's anywhere where conflict gets complicated it's matters of the heart so let's take fights and selfish victories and smash them into in asking you to forgive them and you just can't hear you can't see you not listening blah blah blah blah blah what about career office drama with the plot twist if we're talking blockages and delays this card can be a workplace conflict that nobody can seem to get past this is that moment where everyone's avoiding the break room nobody's microwaving their food and everyone's eating their car so that way they don't have to see Linda been there done that the drama is so intense that everyone's walking away nobody's winning and nobody's communicating or as an opposite maybe that drama is finally coming to an end maybe you and a cooworker have finally decided to bury the hatchet or at least stop passively aggressively emailing each other at 3:00 in the morning so maybe everyone in the these things are no longer serving you but you're choosing not to do anything about it you need to loosen your grip on this heavy sword and finally lean into it and make something happen or as the
