again this is Sir Arnold your speaker for today and good morning good afternoon good evening Facebook page the cpdcft yeah training center and also follow And subscribe to adding YouTube channel the CPD CFT okay again so [Music] we want to share this and with the help of cpdcft so again follow along and like And subscribe to cpdcft so for today or topic I support for Learners participation and this is this is an important topic since Learners participation is a big factor in the learning process every student deserves to be heard in the classroom but making sure that happens making sure it happens every day is not easy because the eager student with their hand after the question may shut down the contributions from others while perspective considers balancing the Dynamics between the students requires the teacher or Young students to become intentionally to make space so that every student can share their thoughts and hearing from a variety of students is really essential for on-the-fly formative assessment so it's time to move on and learners participation so those are the questions now you can improve the student's participation in your subject by devoting time we love is a teacher and the thought to shaping the environment and planning each class session the way in which you are interacting with them both verbally and non-verbally communicates to students your attitude about participation and the main goal of increasing participation is to create an environment in which all the students have an opportunity to fully take part in the subject and improve their learning so how do we support our students in their current Learning Journey um compliments reactions reward so those are some suggestions how do we encourage our students to participate discussion some of the students are really afraid when they don't really know the answer another how do we see ourselves encouraging our students to participate so encourage more among Learners more during the discussion suggestions and comments so those are the questions in relation with the topic student learning participation as we all know we can all remember a sign in the past when we hope that the teacher is a college professor wouldn't call on us yante um our fear of saying the wrong thing and sounding silly in front of our classmates is a strong um barrier from place from bracing our hands and volunteering to speak in front of others actually when given the choice most students choose to choose to um here during class participation [Music] um external factors this is unfortunate because class participation is necessary for getting the most of a most of an education in addition of a program learners in addition of a program Para managing learners participation actively engage the students with the subject matter and it pushes them to create Concepts and forces them to show evidence for their claims simply it will make the students work harder college major expensively so maximize and participation learners so students that regularly participate in class are the constantly involved with the subject or the material and academic more visually it's more and are more likely to remember a greater portion of the information and it's an active class participation also improves critical and higher level thinking skills students who participated in class have studied the material well enough to introduce new Concepts to their classmates or to their peers this level of thinking goes beyond simple comprehension of the text like for example uh learners and also it can improve memory for my reading then of course participation can also help the students learn from each other increasing the comprehension through cooperation so when we say participation we're not only we're not only talking about raising our hands or or learner it's also involves the group participation the differentiated structures this can in turn improve relationships also between the students and between the teacher between the students and students and teacher too students okay learning environment so I'm a learning environment learning environment learning environments are the places where people learn so it can be a classroom a school or bettering workplaces or training ground is a digital platform or Blended spaces that combines both physical and the digital element so learning environments should provide a safe and conducive space for learning they should also provide opportunities for the Learners to interact with each other and access resources that help them learn in different ways the main characteristics of a learning environment learning environment learning is the purpose of the environmental learning and knowledge that another characteristic the environment should be aligned with the course of the institution educational materials another characteristic is it should be safe engaging conducive to learning yeah another learning environments are places where people um can gather can learn and also can grow yeah Improvement development learning environments are designed to provide opportunities for students to learn in a variety of ways learning environments are also called as learning spaces and accept the knowledge that we will give to you and enhance your learning learning spaces are usually designed to support the development of skills and knowledge in a particular area it can be created for individuals or federing in groups is a formal setting such as classroom or work places I I um mental models no more models in relation with student participation learning environment checking and shifting metal models so as you can see number one teaching number two students number three is learning environment learning environment and participation and support take a look at the colors you why teaching your number one white new students now green and green and green new learning environment participation and support but take a look at the learning environment darker green dark dark green shot and figure you know so what does it mean okay everyone can say carries ideas and beliefs about how a system are structured and how the problems Within within our operating so education is also a system and every person who has been in school has a mental picture of what school is how it works and why this why it is the way it is those ideas and beliefs are called mental models and mental models for a guide actions it also informs us about our conversations and also helps us simplify the complex um realities in which we live but they can also get in our way system thinking offers ways to understand our own and other mental models about education and any other system which creates a starting point for discussion and collaboration are collaborative problem solving teaching students those are factors a Hindi participation teaching the government foreign so learning environment okay and as a teacher we provide we provide the needs the educational needs of our Learners now learning environment so again teaching students participation and support are only part of learning environment so let me present to you know um starting points of the process to build a container or holding space for a core group that that is going through the process together you all on stage foundation for the later process and its impact this first step of co-initiating focuses on uncovering common intention and so meaning to say initiating at all learners listening is the key so how will you will how you will listen first listening to your own intention or to what life course you do okay listening to oneself okay steps another listening to your core Partners in the film or colleagues you can also ask help from others asking help is not imperfection Hub is giving you additional knowledge another listening to what you are called to do now or listening to what emerges now the outcomes of co-initiating whatever you do during the movement of co-initiation just make sure that the end of the stage at all not co-initiating at all Maritime establishment first shared intention of what you want to create second critical questions you need to explore third a core group that guides the initiative for a core team to dive into the process deep listening and conversation practices six uneffective support structure seven resource people place and budget eight an initial set of driving force explore at last one is the initial roadmap for the wave forward okay now first listen to what life course you do or what you to do another listen and dialogue or make some conversation with interesting players or on the edge yeah clarify intention and core questions four convene a diverse Core Group around a shared intention and last one is sensing is a practice that takes you on a journey that allows you to see and sense the issue the challenges or the system you're working on from A New Perspective so the mechanisms for doing this are the stakeholders interviews and Learning Journey Journeys yeah one effective practicing or the processing you will find yourself going Beyond downloading and stepping into the seeing instance of the fuel sensing you are also putting yourself um into the places of most potential in the places where our where you are exposed and connect to something new okay holders fighting lgu and go so stakeholders interviews depending on the ecosystem this includes community members decision makers service beneficiaries peers or customers bought within and outside the organization or community interviews it allows you to step into the shoes of the interview interviews and see your role through the eye of the stakeholder that but we should also sense in this sensing the journey you pull the participants out of their daily routine and allow them to experience an organization challenge or system through the lens of different stakeholders then learning Journeys bring participants to places people and experiences that are most relevant for the prospective question they are working on okay core principles I am core question we say core question you will identify what the core questions are and create a Core theme around those questions you might question Paul that will help you to identify is the core of the entire and system of core sensing Journey another um core principles of sensing Journey sensing Journey take a deep dive into the core area zone that matters to the situation you are dealing with Shadow you must spend time in that direct environment to learn what the system is like Through The Eyes of those most marginalized in the in the system then try to answer what are the places if you took a deep dive Journey that might be most helpful in the question you are solving okay especially another suspend voices of judgment and connect with your sense of wonder four practice deep listening and dialogue you connect with others with an open mind and heart then listens in the deeper levels of listening another it creates Collective sensing mechanism that make the system believe then holding the spaces is a key capability to reach this realization intention declare for this training or subject tall space another intellectual Frameworks um it shows how the community sees itself third emotional and sensory rewinding an emotional and sensory rewinding if you're learning journey to learn the Viewpoint from another stock and another um another Partners another stakeholder yeah it holds a space then ownership shared ownership for the system codes from the community that you read back another position presencing um presencing is connecting to the source of inspiration and will go to the place of silence and allow the inner knowing to emerge is a cultural Evolution it's really hard but it's growth with encourage you to apply these methods to our challenge is your system that matters you um to explore okay to explore about your future by creating it yeah yeah if you adapt your primary cultural evolution then stronger more resilient and also sustainable organization so I know um insights on how to evolve your own culture okay now let's proceed the fourth point is in co-creating I'm co-creating it's a prototype the news in living examples to explore the future doing cooperation is ultimately about a different mind that sets the repositions the students and stuff as active collaborators in a diverse process of teaching and learning so example empowering the students to be actively engaged in and share the responsibility for their own education so that's one example also it is learning learning is a form of evolutionary learning in which the fitness evaluation is based on interactions between individuals since the evaluation of an individual is is dependent on interactions in the set of the and it is used for evaluation can affect our learners while Fitness in traditional evolutionary Learning System typically useless I mean in useless it typically uses an objective performance measure so again co-initiating co-sensing presencing co-creating and core and evolving or co-evolution yeah so these are the ways on extending for support for Learners participation a big picture then another is an interdependence number three is assumptions number four is another is accumulation seven change over time next is the connections Leverage also young time delaysian system structure the change perspective considers issue then consequences and the successive approximation so nothing beginning teachers I said they don't have any experience all those acting on the training okay for beginning teachers demonstrate understanding of supporting learning environments that nurture and Inspire the learner's participation ideally the goal of increasing participation is not to have every student participate in the same way or at the same time at the same rate instead it is creating an environment in which all the teachers the participants and students have the opportunity to learn and in which the class explorers issues and ideas in depth from a variety of viewpoints video it is it is recommended to give our students positive feedback for the good and commendable things that they have accomplished we can also allow our students you know to give positive feedback to their classmates medium peer-to-peer and to themselves evaluation okay so foreign for proficient teachers maintain supportive learning environments that nurture Inspire Learners to participate cooperate and collaborate in continued learning some proficient teachers say a good performance task is something that enables the Learners to contribute or the process so so that every achievement or human outputs can be a successful one as a facilitator of learning surface of assumptions and apply successive approximation it's also creating a sustaining structures for our Learners so again providing time and structure that will accommodate the kind of participation you have in mind then we make sure that your structure is smarter than I got my array and smart cash purpose and intention highly proficient teachers Master Teachers okay so I'm highly proficient teachers work with colleagues to share successful strategies that sustain supportive learning environments that nurture and Inspire Learners to participate cooperate and collaborate in continued learning so let us see my CPD you might capable and willing to give support actively and proactively participate in in faculty or classroom actively initiate and participate in the project collaborations that maintain sense of professionalism okay next for distinguished teachers but then facilitate not in a process to review the effectiveness of the school's learning environment to nurture Inspire learner participation to all these things to the learning community then as a teacher let us always keep in mind that hard equal to mine as above so below okay okay extending support for their Mis participation so for a while second CPD all right yeah and so now we're going to discuss um foreign [Music] knowledgeable in the online tools that you will use or online personal indicate or not prescribe okay next know your students not just by name but by heart important you connect with them establishmental social and emotional Rapport but acknowledge limitations so that is balance again Learners again in a professional environment in a professional way yeah limitations another provide clear structures and be certain with your intentions you you make sure that your quizzes or the erections the type of tests are fit to their learning Learners last time create so therefore Explorer another Express and clarify from the beginning that your expectation that students will participate um foreign foreign ERS there's something wrong let students know what is expected them those need to read material before class in order to discuss it are you taking the attendance nothing is published discipline also in the way on the manner that they are participating if you are incorporating activities in your class how should the students participate discussions next other means involve your students in setting structures for participation come up with collaborative reasonable and achievable agreements yeah group activities next prepare initial or motive and follow-up questions ahead of time connect these questions to presents to present the realities example so what what now uh then another if you want to extend your support for the learner's participation include an engaging and meaningful motivational activity and take away the process what and how they have learned and how they have seen themselves participating and contributing in the discussion soon meaning to say it's a motivational activity and take note Learners games next give students time to think before they respond to your questions allow them to take deep breaths and reflect um okay there's no room with that but the point is yum allow them to take deep breath and reflect give students five to ten seconds to think and formulate a response in other ways there's more time and choices with assignments and assessments when possible like for example um another um my variety of activities allow the students to choose how to demonstrate their knowledge or provide a range of topics from which the students can explore another allow your learners to initiate discussions whether small group or entire class then enable them to activate their cognitive effective and social skills again as an uncognitive skills that's a daily lesson lab or lesson plan more effective domain NASA lesson plan more social skills so again as a teacher um strategies approaches and methods execute implementing lessons another be mindful of students competence their commitment confidence in the care and communication okay next provide small yet impactful opportunities for growth be elaborate constructive and encouraging when providing feedback another redirect the feedback and questions to other students then let's see if they have this the same answer pero never let your level letters okay next is sustainable collaboration with co-teachers and coordinators administrators it also fundamental teachers faculty apply successive approximation now how to enhance the student engagement in classrooms now for increase in the students engagement in the classroom actually I'm still engagement we can find out that not only the children learn more but that the overall School experience is better for students teachers and parents teachers engage the students which are actively involved in lessons and activities involvement results in a much deeper understanding and far more enjoyment throughout the process some Research Services some research has shown that when students are enthusiastic about what they are doing and feel an ownership over their education they are much happier and more enthusiastic and is unhappy children who are focused and on tasks make it much easier for you to do your job as their teacher they communicate positively feeling feelings about school to their parents is also helps them develop a strong relationship between the home and the school when [Music] colleagues and administrators walk into your classroom and see the students attentive to their tasks it will reflect well on new as a professional but how do you make that magic no you have yeah implementing any one of the tried and true strategies for increasing student engaged engagement will help you a lot try combining several of these ideas and you will also start the magic happen to your classroom to make your teaching better okay importance and student teacher relationship and student teacher relationship is essential to both the teacher as well as the student it helps a teacher import their knowledge in the best way it helps them face the problems faced by the students see here are some tips that you can help that will help you mark a CPD Una okay as a teacher you must be wondering how to maintain good relationships with your students especially if you are a new teacher I will present to you some tips that can actually help you in that first use different teaching methods um so make a variety of what you are doing every day make a twist be creative be innovative make good use of the technological advancement most of the children and the teenagers of today's time are lured by technology technology let us maximize it through educational apps one of the best ways to keep them engaged in your class is to use the screens and sounds to make the learning process more fun and effective I'm a I am make learning faster and help them in retaining the knowledge for more more time [Music] with students although a teacher a teacher's job is to give children notes complete the syllabus of time take their tests it's also essential then teacher connection make sure you take out some time at least once a week to interact with the students this will also help you in bonding with those children or students or Learners who do not speak much during your class some tips again praise the students make sure that as a teacher you praise everyone if not for doing good enough then at least for trying this will boost the confidence of your learner and increase their interests in your in your classes another keep the classes if you keep on teaching for an extended period without any break it's natural but students to lose interest after some time you could use the time to interact with them show some video or take small quiz this will relax their minds and help them in focusing better during the rest of the class another you're adding listen to them and assess what they expect from you so sometimes children want you to work on specific things then nothing teacher as a teacher you must not judge any persilence and listen and listen to what they want from you this will also LED this will also lead to um they want far from you this also need them for coming to you for any personal challenges they face and you can guide them better the build stress this builds trust enhance contributes to building a strong band foreign increasing students participation you can improve students participation in your subject by devoting time and talk to shape being the environment and planning each class into session so the way in which you interact both verbally and non-verbally communicates the goal of increasing participation and creating a learning environment individuals which all the students have an opportunity to fully take part of the subject and improve their learning okay now let's talk about shaping the environment start with the classroom set expectations learned and use students name so let's start with start with the classroom classroom that will accommodate the kind of participation you have in mind starting on the first day of class CPD arranged the room in a way that encourages active engagement well it's time to reserve a classroom keep in mind not only the number of students student chairs you will you will need but also whether this chair should be movable if you need frequent discussions consider moving the chair into a circle um Circle you yeah to ensure that students can see and speak to one another if you are teaching a large lecture yeah like for example asking the students to move so that they are concentrated near the front of the room yes yeah they are concentrated then near the front of the room move the chairs back to their standard configuration at the end of the class yeah now is Young plans so when we say planning uh it talks about share responsibility for participation assigning a student of the responsibility for increasing participation by all puede puyon for example on the first day of your class you might tell students your goals for class participation and ask them to come up with a list of guidelines that will help the class reach the goal typically they will um they will generate not excellent guidelines such as do not interrupt others when they are when they are talking and critique the ideas don't criticize the person then and hand out it in class so students who feel invested from the beginning in making the discussion success for them will be more likely to work together to increase participation okay now um considering nothing but acquired among students to lead questions or discussions to sub to submit discussions questions before the class providing time in a guidance and assessments a student performance on the on this task is score um for example um class participation yeah and another discussions in which you are having trouble getting the students to participate considering foreign variety of teaching methods these methods might might include things like lectures discussions and small group work if you are teaching a subject set aside the time during its lecture to us and answer the questions to ask students to solve a problem or to discuss an issue by the end within 20 minutes when students learn to expect these opportunities for discussion or questioning they will listen more actively to the lecture if you lecture for 45 minutes before you post for questions or discussion your students will have been taking note for so long that they may have find it difficult to switch modes quickly furthermore they may well have forgotten questions like comments or concepts from the earlier part slam classic okay in if you're still teaching a discussion on some subject Integrity natima short courses like you know Concepts clarify nothing and um order ideas and help the students make connections use small groups as Fashions informal writing assignments and online discussions before or the start of class para macarona learners activeness these strategies can be effective ways to provide reflective Learners and shy students I mean so um developing the ideas that they can contribute to the class discussion then commenting in Italian okay in terms of listening and responding foreign participation do not rely on the same volunteers to answer every question respond the frequent Volunteers in a way that indicates that you appreciate the responses but want to hear from um from others no is really important move to a part of the room where voices are sitting smile and make eye contact with the students to encourage to encourage the okay this is anxieties by creating an atmosphere in which they feel comfortable Thinking Out Loud taking intellectual risks then asking questions and admitting them when they do not know something well it's one of the best ways to do is to model your behavior okay then do not be afraid of Silence give students time to think before they respond to your questions five to ten seconds think and formulate on this box if 10 to 15 seconds pass without anyone volunteer Paris activity replacement question do not give into the temptation to answer your own question is science patience is key do not be afraid of Silence the longer you wait for students to respond the longer you wait for students to respond parent the more thoughtful and complex those responses are likely to be then of course there's only at least one student in every class who will quickly raise the grace raise their hands no to answer nearly every questions if you consistently call on the student those who will require more time to formulate answers will simply learn to wait for this student to answer so is there any other students who can answer my question yeah okay so when we say don't interrupt listen fully to students questions and answers avoid nothing interrupting resist the urge to interrupt when you think you know what the student is going to say or ask are professors make incorrect assumptions and leader students actual questions unanswered or misinterpreted misinterpreted presented what the students had planned to say another follow-up yeah provide nothing on a specific encouraging varied responses point out what is helpful or interesting about student contributions you pick up one comments that were made not be but not discuss then do not use the same standard phrase to respond to every comment what students here are um again and again then they start to lose motivation as follow-up questions that um start to prompt students to clarify refine and support their ideas uh nothing we also have the reconsidering the evidence the best way to shut down a participation and learning is to embarrass okay okay repeat back repeat students responses to summarize or clarify the ideas use the different strategy when students come student comments are awake or all over them up not uh but do not overuse it leading students to rely on your um on your translation or validating their ideas first include the whole class the direct commands and questions to other students encourage the students or the whole class to respond to one another rather than merely on merely on you when a student is speaking looking around the room not just at um not just uh the speaking or the e-student who is speaking making eye contact with other students let them know that you expect them to listen and formulate responses provide nothing much students that will be the model of civil discourse or subject by demonstrating respect for and interest in it okay learn to limit your comments button okay all right next active participation Management in the classroom active participation Learners question and of course so let's start with active participation um don't forget to like and follow our Facebook page and subscribe to our YouTube channel cpdcfe okay now active participation why why is it important to frequently elicit responsible students okay here's the answer active participation is when a person's involvement in all aspects of their life is enabled recognizing the right to participate in activities and relationships as independently as possible they are encouraged to be less of a passive recipient and more on this active partner in their own care and support having the service user be involved in the planning and practice of their own care and support it is a way of enabling them to active actively participate they should be able to discuss their preferences and make choices in how and when their care is delivered breaking down any barriers in communication to enable this there will be times with also that is not impossible and other stakeholders Empower family and health professionals and social workers we need to be involved in such cases who knows them will make be able to provide insights into their likes and their slacks then let us promote you individual right now your choices Independence are the key principles of active participation these principles are also the Cornerstone Tao an approach which respects a person's dignity values their right to choose and make decisions based on their peers to their personal needs and beliefs so feedback yeah why is it important to frequently illicit response from the students feedback and revision are important parts now learning experience from En class activities assigned as assignment my parent human Scripts and feedback is essential for growth and learning and yet if students don't reflect on or apply notes or comments it can sometimes feel like feedback doesn't matter at all that much giving feedback can feel like an arduous process and when it goes and a news on student assignments can be an instructors or teachers or professors feeling frustrated now how to contribute to a positive learning environment first increase engagement second increases on task Behavior increases the accountability next promote desired behaviors [Music] that reduces inappropriate behavior keep moving along and you keep the class moving along another embedded from affirmative assessment and of course we are changing their understanding it allows the teachers to monitor understanding and adjust the lesson based on the responses and provide feedback to students now since we're talking about the feedback foreign skills then provide nothing and rehearsal of information and Concepts allowed or retrieval practice of the critical critical content okay now create better questions what end punctuation should we use so instead of that why should the sentence end in a question mark Anda higher order thinking um skills or Hearts as a question another question is this a sentence or a clause instead of that use this why is this a clause rather than a sentence another term slate a metamorphic rock the frame nothing why is laid in metamorphic rock next so original is 23 prime that is why is 23 prime another issue is a spider an insect so instead of that here's the question why is a spider not an insect yeah okay another you know um what is a prime number reframe using comparisons why 17 prime and 15 knot okay another question uh what was life under operating life so here's the refrain question how are lives of blacks and whites different under operating mammal penguin is not so much learners then next um doesn't have a nucleus is what is the majority what is the major difference between a prokaryote and nucleic cells planning questions keep in mind your course goals then aim for direct specific questions another ask questions throughout your class and as only one question at a time and also you ask open-minded questions we can also rely with Bloom's taxonomino to be sure you are addressing various types of cognitive process in your questions on our questions after the class again those are only steps at okay let's continue so after participation opportunities to respond it involves verbal responses needed responses and action responses also did respond when possible use responsible procedures that engage all the students okay think pair and share yeah so I think I have students think and record responses then ask the students as as students are writing book around the classroom and write down the students ideas and their names foreign [Music] okay next pair have students share their ideas with their Partners have them record their partner's best ideas as students are sharing continue language to circulate around the room the recording ideas and names and last one is my ideas and names on the screen cartolina or art paper use this as a vehicle for sharing okay so again um students number two is be structured number three allowed adequate thinking time okay active participation Essentials think time about like about time comparing my extent via 3 seconds so it is okay greater participation by all Learners let the students responses increased use of evidence to support inferences increased logical consistency of students explanations increase the last one is number of questions asked by the students increased okay the verbal responses um usually choral responses used when as it only used when answers are short and at the same it's also used to recall a rehearsal on faxes desired then my quick review now information then students are looking at teacher so you ask some questions then also put your hands to indicate silence giving thinking time and the last one is lower your hands as you say to everyone yeah students are looking at the common stimulus like for example Point stimulus ask questions give thinking time tap for response is also used when answers are long or different it's used for on the foundational and higher order questions with middle performing students give Partners a number then sit Partners next to each other then utilization trials when appropriate then um effective secondary procedure but uh no um seating chart indicating the names the partners and numbers participating peninsula so I'm using some Partners nothing it responds to our questions task or directive then of course teaching information to a partner parent and study studying with a partner actually and um engagement agree and disagree foreign the discussion with sentence starters being anian folding materials to the next phase of the lesson then of course unverbal responses supporters other uses of water Saturn is the monitorium partner to see if the reactions are followed and of course the sharing materials with the partners another is the assistant partners during the independent Works mid level at Meredith foreign partners then provide kind of feedback on their written products and then Samara actions historical events vocabulary terms or concepts also students participate in simulation learner especially okay and gestures students indicate answers with gestures um facial expression okay what does it mean quiet by another stop so okay another increasing the student engagement in the classroom the challenges of teaching diverse learners consider using strategies to help your students increase their engagement with learning activities you build confidence in their community of learning and increase their comprehension of the subject material so what we are waiting for the involvement of the minds of all Learners with that which is to be learned okay explicit engagement expressing um understanding of their tasks in a clear and obvious way implicit engagement the state of being involved understood but not specifically expressed by the learner Okay so learners another is your level of students engagement rebelliousness admiring behavioral problem in rebelliousness past and subconscious and think his he or she is smarter than the teacher fbb and some baby students [Music] scores below basic the American scores far below basic then it tries not to be noticed yeah does minimal class work or homework then frequently absent or tardisia and wishes you would need him or her alone okay then passive compliance the majority of ours that's they are scores below basic or basic does enough homework to avoid a missing assignment wants to pass your class the answers to question when asked avoids volunteering for anything and see ending agrees or min-san okay ritual engagement we need to move our students here now um scores basic or proficient do you want to earn a or b in your class 85 to 19. wants to get into college of course volunteers responses to earn points and they use extra credit opportunities to make up for vocational accessing effort and forgets about your class once a period is over beyond what is due to the next day authentic engagement stand out or advance loves learning for the sake of learning wants to earn a or 90 patas in your class and will once get into a competitive College volunteers responses to show understanding they also use extra credit opportunities to earn some 100 percent thinks and talks about your class long after the period has ended out of genuine interest successful learning is more than possibility of process information all learning except for simple Road memorization requires active involvement of each learner student engagement and how do we do it change that in my words and places it was not enough student confidence folding materials relevant and interesting materials macaroni explicit and implicit tasks and can move students to higher or lower states of Engagement cognitive learning it helps the students decode the learning process by verbalizing your approaches to solve the problems creating thesis statements hypothetical questions and interpreting Rhythm texts so it is the intended curriculum okay specified by the state district or school to be addressed in a particular course at a particular grade level they implemented curriculum the content actually delivered by the teacher now attained curriculum is the content actually learned by the students now just remember this no my CPD um authentic student engagement is the one common Avenue to reach all students learners again at all and of course on this session again thank you so much don't forget to like follow our Facebook pages cpdcft and of course notification Bells adding YouTube channel CPD CFT thank you so much and see you soon next session thank you
