welcome to today's video Philippians 1:6 explained being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ in Philippians 1:6 Paul is expressing his confidence in God's faithful work within the lives of Believers the verse begins with the word confident which indicates Paul's deep assurance that God's promises and actions are reliable Paul trusts that God God who has already begun a work in each of us will continue this work until it is complete this confidence is not in human strength or ability but entirely rooted in God's power and faithfulness when Paul speaks of a good work he is referring to the work of Salvation and transformation in our lives that God initiates the moment we come to Faith this work is not just a one-time act it is a lifelong process that involves God's guidance correction and molding as we grow in our relationship with him the phrase he which hath begun a good work and he points us to God's initiative in our lives he begins this journey with us by extending his grace and salvation and he does so out of his love and desire to see us transformed into his likeness this transformation is something only God can do Paul's confidence is in God's ability to see us through knowing that our Salvation is a process not just a decision God is continuously working within us shaping our hearts minds and souls teaching us to become more like Christ every day Paul then says that God will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ this phrase shows us the time frame for God's work within us it is ongoing until Christ returns or we are united with him this means that God's commitment to our spiritual growth is unwavering and lasts throughout our entire life time God's promise is not just for a temporary period it is a lasting commitment to bring us closer to him this part of the verse assures Believers that God will never abandon his work within us even when we Face struggles Temptations or fail in our own attempts to live righteously God remains faithful he is continuously at work within us and he will not stop until his purpose in US is fulfilled this verse is also a reminder of the security we have in God's promises it gives us peace and hope especially in times of uncertainty or hardship when we feel inadequate or unworthy we can remember that it is God who is at work in us his strength is made perfect in our weakness and his grace is sufficient for every need we do not have to rely on our own abilities to make ourselves worthy instead we can rest in the knowledge that God himself is shaping us according to his will Philippians 1:6 also challenges us to cooperate with God's work in our lives as he transforms us we are invited to walk in obedience surrendering Our Lives to his guidance this requires humility and Faith trusting that God's plan for us is better than anything we could imagine for ourselves by yielding to his work we allow his Spirit to shape us and prepare us for the day of Jesus Christ when all things will be made new the Assurance in this verse is not only a comfort but also a calling it reminds us to live with purpose knowing that our lives have meaning in God's Grand Design he sees potential in each of us and he is committed to bringing that potential to fruition no matter our circumstances our failures or our past God's good work within us continues we can live each day in the confidence that he is shaping us into the image of his son and preparing us for an eternal future with him remember to subscribe like share and comment to stay connected with this channel may God continue his faithful work in you and bless you abundantly
