Tree of Life Overview

  • Structure includes:
    • 10 Sephirot (Emanations)
    • 22 Paths connecting the Sephirot
  • Purpose: Evolves consciousness from the mundane to divine realization

1. The Unmanifest

  • Divided into three parts:
    • Ein: Complete nothingness
    • Sof: Limitless
    • Sof Aur: Limitless light

2. The Ten Sephirot

  • Represent the blueprint of human mind, body, and spirit
  • Progression from Keter (Crown) to Malkuth (Kingdom)
  • Each Sephirah has:
    • Alternate titles
    • Symbols
    • Deities
  • Keter: Primordial consciousness
  • Bina: Understanding (Supernal Mother)
  • Hod: Glory (Associated with Archangel Michael)

3. The 22 Paths

    • One of 22 Hebrew letters
    • One of 22 Tarot Major Arcana
    • One of 7 planets, 4 elements, or 12 zodiac signs
  • Example: 25th path (Tiferet to Yesod) corresponds to Tarot card Temperance

The Three Trinities

1. Supernal Triangle

  • Comprises:
    • Keter: Crown
    • Hokma: Wisdom
    • Bina: Understanding
  • Represents aspects of divine consciousness
  • Above the Abyss line: represents access to infinite knowledge and God realization

2. Ethical Triangle

  • Comprises:
    • Chesed: Mercy
    • Geburah: Severity
    • Tiferet: Beauty
  • Reflects nature of divine forces, not merely worldly ethics

3. Astral Triangle

  • Comprises:
    • Netzach: Victory
    • Hod: Glory
    • Yesod: Foundation
  • Relates to subconscious mind and magical workings

4. Malkuth

  • Represents physicality and sensory consciousness
  • The realm of everyday experience
