throw in Liberty is right around the corner you got the open beta test in a couple of weeks and launch two months after in this video I'm going to be breaking down all of the classes including recommended meta classes when I say classes I mean weapon combinations and thrown in Liberty the classes are in the form of weapons for example you can use a great sword you can use a sword and shield you can use a great sword you can use a dagger you can combine the two and whatever combination of weapons you use is essentially your class so in this video I'm going to be breaking down each weapon in individually as well as some recommended classes and abilities and just all that all that good stuff I always do a class guide video for every video game that I play that I invest a lot of time video before we begin a few things you should know in this video I'll be sharing recommended weapon combinations in each respective weapon section there's obviously some overlap here so I will not be repeating the same build twice for example I won't be talking about great sword sword shield in both the great sword and sword shield sections so if I don't talk about great sword sword shield in the shield section for example then simply check the Greatsword section the next thing to know is that in throne and Liberty every weapon you equip has a minimum attack and maximum attack range a critical hit in this game is simply the maximum attack range being landed on your target you also have what's called a heavy attack which is a time two on whatever damage you land for example if your attack lands for 4,830 damage with an X two that pops up next to it you're dealing double that damage another term to understand is that almost all negative effects including dots and debuffs are referred to as weaken in throne in Liberty and the final point is that NC soft has announced extended skill Expressions allowing you to tailor skills further for example removing the cast time on a casted Fireball skill this update is expected to come in the coming months and I plan on updating guides and videos once we get these for now the following will be based off of the current live version in Korea and the version we expect to see and play in the open beta test the first weapon on the list is the great sword great swword is a melee weapon that specializes in single Target lock down in the form of big burst think less hits but bigger numbers this weapon is designed around heavy attacks so you can expect very frequent double damage procs on your hits great sword relies on stunning and knocking down opponents to set up its damage while its ability to cc is a huge Advantage one of the biggest disadvantages is that most of your damage relies on those very CCS great sword is currently one of the two weapons that have access to wrath attacks that allow you to ground targets that's in an active blocking stance this gives you the ability to help dismantle Frontline tanks this weapon also provides one of the biggest single Target burst damage in the game but due to the nature of it being more in the form of a Juiced burst window the overall DPS in PVE dungeons is mediocre at best as for the recommended combinations the first DPS option would be great sword dagger which will play like a damage dealing assassin giving you more of an In-N-Out execute single targets like gameplay style a great comparison would be dark runner from Arch age this class is extremely strong in smaller skirmishes but very difficult to play the larger the scale due to the nature of being melee late game you will not be able to sustain a cc combo or multiple people so speed is extremely important the ark boss T dagger weapon is an endgame must for this build this special dagger will allow you to engage in stealth but it will also allow you to get the stealth back to disengage upon executing your target without it it will be extremely difficult to either engage or disengage depending on which you use your stealth on great sword sword shield is currently one of the most popular classes in the game right now for two reasons one you're tank and two you deal solid damage don't expect to blow up targets as fast as great sword dagger but you will be able to mow down targets while sustaining as a tank think more of a tanky Bruiser only you're able to one or two combo squish your targets I'll bring up another Arch age reference here but this build plays similar to abolish only tankier and able to deal more damage here are some of the key abilities for great swword stunning blow your stun which will provide you with additional damage Buffs on top of the CC death blow a hard-hitting single Target melee attack that deals additional damage to stun targets Da Vinci's courage a big group buff that increases Max HP regen and attack speed Ascension slash your wrath attack and combo CC which will ground targets includ including those who are blocking Guillotine a huge single Target damage attack dealing even more damage to targets who are floored Gaia crash your only non-target AOE ability that hits four times this ability deals a lot of damage in a concentrated area when using the tier 2 earthquake Greatsword as you see here if you like to play tanks in MMOs sword and shield SNS is going to be it for you a very complete tank weapon SNS provides you with a variety of defensive Buffs allowing you to become extremely tanky when built correctly these defensives include an active block that not only mitigates incoming damage but also heals you when blocking Fury attacks additionally you'll have a passive block rate plus defensive Buffs boosting blocks for yourself and damage reduction for your entire party you will have access to a few offensive skills allowing you to deal a bit of damage as well as a unique reflect damage skill that scales off of your damage reduction incentivizing tankiness to deal more damage aside from the few damaging skills you'll also get crowd control skills with this weapon equipped these CCS include both pulls and pushes along with stuns when hitting targets into walls late game you'll even have access to a multi-target hook allowing you to pull three targets at once to set up big burst damage from you and your team sword and shield is one of the most important overall weapons in the game due to the need of tanks in both PVP and PVE content the tanking capability along with the utility and support a tank brings is invaluable each SNS variation will play a little bit differently depending on your secondary weapon for example if you choose one to pair with SNS you can fill both roles as a tank and a Healer simultaneously in Dungeon runs recommended Comin ations with sword and shield would be great sword dagger and wand caring SNS with dagger is one of the tankiest builds in the game and an extremely strong choice in the early game as a pure tank along with your defensives dagger can also provide a ton more giving you access to a lot of additional evasion which includes magic evasion magic generally being the counter to SNS this evasion tank will also reflect damage from counter barrier and is is even more effective with an on demand stealth unless we see Buffs which is on the table with the new skill Expressions the damage from daggers is not enough to make this really a DPS threat you will be able to do some damage but you're not going to be mowing down people sword and shield wand is currently the most broken class in the game due to the ark boss tevent wand weapon as acknowledged directly by NC soft even without this though this class is still very effective at being a tank generally speaking this class is nicknamed the Paladin enthone and will come with extremely high sustain with the ability to heal what makes this class broken is its ability to One-Shot players with curse bombs while maintaining a full tank identity while healing itself back to full to add insult to injury these one shot can also be AOE key abilities for SNS include Shield strike a low cooldown attack that does surprisingly decent damage on low cooldown this ability also weakens your target lowering their hit rate strategic Rush a charge Mobility skill that pushes targets along with you and stun them when pushed into a wall counter barrier a high uptime buff that boosts your block chance and reflecting damage on every evaded attack with its damage scaling off of damage reduction chain hook an instacast mid-range pull that binds or Roots targets after pulled this ability can pull up to three people that are near each other with the tier 2 Penance sword provoking Roar your AOE taunt that even applies to players in PvP SNS has additional Buffs specifically for targets that are taunted stalwart Bastion a big damage reduction buff for party members dagger is currently the only weapon that is very effective with every other weapon making it one of the best overall choices in the game however as a main DPS weapon it's one of the worst in its current state as the damage output from dagger alone is not very high this could be of course Chang with the new skill Expressions coming soon in Korea with that said though dagger does have the potential to deal sneaky good burst damage at times with some of its abilities due to its offhand proc rate which essentially allows you to hit twice dealing nearly double the damage pair this with crits that can heavy hit and you can potentially quadruple the usual damage with lu lucky procs rather than damage daggers have massive value due to its crit rate evasion and utility it provides daggers come with passives that greatly increase both weapon crit rates and crit damage along with huge evasion Buffs that are very powerful especially in the early game from a utility perspective daggers have the best Gap closure in the game that Roots targets and can combo into additional cc's in addition to this dagger also has access to a wrath ability that can floor any active block you also have access to poison Stacks that have great Synergy with other mainhand weapons and of course access to stealth the single best engage and disengage in the game not only do you have an on demand stealth on the hot bar but you also gain stealth for any active Q Dodge on Fury attack when it comes to the ark boss weapons the T dagger is the most sought out weapon in the game currently this dagger allows you to reset your stealth cooldown upon kill making it highly desired for all DPS builds running dagger as you can see on the screen as far as the recommended weapon combinations go it's dagger and any other weapon we'll go straight into the key abilities with this one seeing as it works well with everything and is explained in each of the other weapon sections key abilities include predatory strike a low cooldown melee attack with a high damage modifier providing High DPS overall Shadow strike the best Gap closer in the game that not only Paces you directly behind your target but also binds them and applies a silence locking out any magic ability for 4 seconds inject Venom adds a poison application to all of your attacks with 100% of time possible this poison can be stacked up to 20 times and decreases health regen by 4% a stack with passives this can also provide a lot of crit brutal incision an execute like skill for dagger that has the potential to Nuke depending on a heavy hits crits and offhand proc on top of the high damage multiplier when targets are under 50% HP you gain increased crit and crit damage ankle strike one of the two wrath attacks in the game allowing you to ground targets who are using an active Q block aside from this ankle strike is a combo skill that will ground any Target that is bound slept or stunned camouflage cloak the most valuable skill in the dagri kit that provides a very long stealth being stealth means you cannot be targeted and can only only take damage to any dot that had been previously applied or AOE non-targeted attacks the bow and thrown Liberty can be used both as a mainhand damage dealing weapon or a support weapon to the wand according to the devs once skill expressions are released the bow along with the wand will be considered the True full healer weapon combo if you're interested in damage bow definitely delivers on that front as well both in PVE and PVP you can expect expect to see a lot of bows at the top of the kill ranking on any server keep in mind that bows can also be buffed by shooting with the direction of the wind in game despite this weapon being a two-hander that gives big burst damage this weapon is designed around crit and not heavy attack bows will provide you with a good mix of on the-go abilities and stationary ones this weapon is designed around crits offering cooldown resets on major damage dealing skills allowing you to consecutively use your strongest damage skills over and over up to three times you'll also be able to control your targets at range by having access to Roots you'll also have access to the only counter to Stealth In the game revealing and stunning stealth Targets in the open world traditional bow builds will be able to kite and deal large amounts of damage with good uptime however when caught expect to be blown up instantly bows have a major advantage with range and large scale PVP allowing them to attack under protection and utilize terrain however when it comes to Mid to short- range combat melees will have the ability to shut you down in the support department bows offer regen CC and debuff cleanses as well as cooldown resets as mentioned before we're expecting more in this department very soon with the skill Expressions recommended weapon combinations there are two major DPS recommendations to pair with bow a dagger or staff dagger is your bread and butter that will have you feeling like a ranged assassin very similar to primeval from archage you'll have access to stealth poisons close to mid-range Gap closing CC ability but more importantly big crits this build will be very solid for all forms of content the other recommended is bow staff which is a build that shines the larger the scale despite these two weapon types being different bow staff will give you the largest arsenal of range skills in the game with huge burst potential the bow will give you major single target range damage while staff provides not only single Target burst but big ranged AOE damage this build is hands down one of the best builds to be running as a damage dealer in large scale organized PVP content B wand as mentioned earlier is expected to be the full support build once skill expressions are released wands provide direct heals Buffs and debuffs while bows can currently add to the support Arsenal by providing additional HP regen weakness and CC cleanses and even a hard cooldown reset you can use on any of your support abilities before ending this section I do want to bring up Bow crossbow which is a combination a lot of players will likely be asking about and is obviously not on this list this build is currently not in my personal recommended list but could be added with the future skill Expressions update the reason for this is that crossbow will provide you with movement speed and additional damage by way of having more skills available to you but the weapon itself is very much a mid to close-range weapon which is the range you want to avoid being in when playing a bow due to the nature of melee's countering by combining these two weapons you're essentially losing utility poison and very important crit which dagger provides for both weapons tldr aside from the range both weapons are far better off with dagger not each other key abilities for the bow include zephyr's knock your standard low cooldown ability that deals increased damage the further you are and to CC Targets in snaring Arrow your main range CC ability binding or rooting the target decisive sniping a big snipe that will hit targets hard from range and resets its cooldown on crit allowing you to use it three consecutive times strafing a bread andb butter skill that can be used on the r that also resets its cooldown on crit and can also be used consecutive times Nature's Blessing a big support ability that increases health regen for all party members and removes a weakened debuff Nature's Blessing also provides the only source of Mana regen for bow Blitz a high cooldown ability that resets the cooldown of the most recently used skill not applicable to skills that can be used consecutively despite being considered a ranged weapon crossbows play much more like a melee class than a ranged one a close-range class would be a better way to put it crossbows generally are the squishiest most dangerous class to play but in return get top tier DPS that's unmatchable by any other class the crossbow is also a weapon that's designed around crits in contrast to Greatsword this weapon will deal damage in the form of multi-hits allowing it to scale and synergize well with bonus damage in weaken since crossbows hit multiple times being able to stack these weakens work really well if built correctly not only can you kill players in seconds but you can also melt tanks aside from this crossbows give you access to Mobility mostly in the form of movement speed including a bind and movement speed reduction Cleanse This weapon also has built-in cooldown reduction mechanics further enhancing the overall speed and damage it can output over overall generally speaking crossbows are fast and deal a lot of damage but you're squishy and you need to do it up close recommended weapon combinations really the only recommended class for a crossbow is dagger as mentioned earlier crossbows are played close range and scale with weaken to deal maximum damage the poison that comes from dagger can be stacked very quickly and deal significant amounts of dot damage pair this with the best in slot Arc boss weapon for Expo which applies an additional High damaging poison dot on hit and you will literally shred tanks and can watch them melt and die from your poisons as you run away on top of this you of course have the crit Buffs and utility that dagger provides stealth is extremely important for this class considering how squishy it is the final touch to the build would be the ark boss tth dagger which allows you to reset your stealth on kill allowing you to engage and disengage in full stealth this is an extremely powerful combination considering you burst down Targets in a matter of seconds but you can also deal this damage in AOE this is currently one of the strongest weapon combinations in the game and has been acknowledged by ncsoft that it is overtuned he abilities for crossbow include quickfire your bread and butter low cooldown skill that you will be using a lot Nimble leap the biggest movement skill in crossbows kit that allows you to close the gap or space yourself away this skill also gives you a short buff increasing your attack speed range and crit damage mortal Mark a damage dealing mark That's applied to the Target for 3 seconds that reduces incoming heals by 60% and additionally deals 10% of the accumulated damage dealt while the Mark was applied multi-shot a fat conal AOE ability that deals damage knocks back reduces movement speed on targets and reduces the cool down on Mobility skills for each Target hit selfless diffusion a big bind and movement speed debuff cleanse that also allows you to move through enemy bodies with no Collision distance to your movement skills increases your evasion increases your movement speed and most importantly provides a big damage buff by increasing your offhand weapon attack Chance by 50% essentially giving you guaranteed offhand procs Thorn Gale a big self damage buff that will allow you to fire an additional projectile for every projectile you fire next we have the staff a ranged magic damage dealing weapon that deals its damage in the form of both direct hits and dots staff generally has the longest range in the game along with bows and a good amount of the damage come from Burn dots this weapon also has big potential AOE ability which gives it huge value in large scale PVP like bow staff is also affected by world conditions namely rain staff will be able to deal significantly more damage when it rains generally speaking staff is best utilize the larger the scale they can easily be shut down by melee despite being a damage type counter to Plate because of its longer cast times keep in mind skill Expressions can change this for example one of the skill Expressions that are confirmed is firebomb having its cast time completely removed or being able to move while casting like the Great sword staff is also supposed to be a heavy attack focused weapon that gives you the opportunity to have bigger possible bursts while the staff will give you more in this department it won't be to the extent of great sword in return however you'll have a lot more in the weaken Department giving you more dot damage and of course ranged AOE the ark boss weapon currently in the game for staff provides even more big time AOE damage this weapon gives you a percent chance to apply a delayed exploding insect on your target that deals a lot of damage to him and any Target near him this percentage chance like other Arc boss weapons can be increase significantly by stacking the weaken stat this weapon has more value the larger the scale when it comes to the recommended weapon combinations the first on the list would not in any particular order be staff dagger like all other weapons paired with dagger staff gets increased crit and crit damage on demand stealth and extra weaken damage from the poison dagger essentially will juice your staff attacks to the max if you're looking for big meteors in judgment abilities from the staff staff W can also be played with more damage Focus or heal Focus it's the closest thing to a hybrid healer and damage dealer should you choose to build so when it comes to damage by replacing the dagger with wand you are going to be more invested in your dot damage from weakens and will have the ability to set up curses alongside your ranged AOE abilities this is at the cost of Less Direct damage for your staff skills however when it comes to Healing you'll benefit from Max mana and additional heavy attack staff comes with a passive that gives you additional heavy attack chance effectively giving you a higher chance to double your heals while wand has a passive that increases your heals based off of your max Mana staff also provides you with a very clutch pull ability that allows you to pull allies towards you that may be in danger as well as a cooldown reduction to access your heals faster aside from the support this weapon combination will also allow you to deal some damage during the downtime giving you a bit more of a hybrid feel overall currently this is one of the top healer builds in the game pre-kill expression update key abilities for the staff include chain lightning a single Target insta cast ability that can hit multiple times if the target is wet from rain or frosted firebomb a single Target casted ability that hits up to three times and applies an AOE burn dot on your target we know that you can modify this ability to be casted while moving remove the cast time entirely or even make the impact AOE once the skill expression update is released Frost smoke screen a key movement ability that will blink you backwards and can be charged up to two times Inferno wave a ranged AOE instacast skill that all also applies an AOE burn do judgment lightning a big single Target insta cast that can also hit multiple enemies if the target is wet from rain or frosted this skill can be used again if the strike is a heavy attack infernal meteor a longrange hard-hitting casted AOE that also applies five stacks of burning on heavy hit this ability is Big Time for coordinated bombs in large scale PVP the final weapon on the list list is the wand and in throne in Liberty it offers two roles healer and damage dealer if you're looking to go healer then wand is your only choice as a mainhand weapon as it's the only weapon that provides direct healing skills aside from HP regen this weapon is expected to receive even more Support options with the skill expression update and was confirmed to have a full support build option available as of now your support will come in the form of group heals HP regen Buffs and debuff on targets like tanks the Healer role is a must in all forms of content PVP and PVE from a DPS perspective Juan offers very scary single and group AOE damage the overall damage per second though and a prolong fight would be considered lower as it takes some time to set up but when pulled off properly you can delete chunks of players and can even one-hot tanks if you have the ark boss wand weapon which gives you an additional curse that you can bomb targets with the tldr to the play style is that you stack curses and sleep your target you can then spread all of it to nearby enemies then you curs on them which deals all the damage any dot had left remaining in one single explosion if you're fortunate enough to have the ark boss tev wand weapon then sword shield wand is currently one of the most powerful weapon combinations in the game as acknowledged by NC soft as being overt tuned and is expected to be tuned either directly or indirectly with the new skill Expressions coming up when it comes to the recommended weapon combinations the only one that's really left that we haven't gone over is Juan dagger the damage focused version of Wan dagger will play something similar to a stealth bomber your goal is to set up big curse bombs which you can do every 15 to 20 seconds or so the stealth will also allow you to get in and or out more effectively and the poison from dagger add to your overall curse bomb damage when it comes to being a dedicated healer I wouldn't personally recommend wand dagger bow and staff are just overall better options for the rooll not to mention the Mana issues you'll encounter key abilities for the wand include Touch of Despair your ranged low cooldown curse application which is a damage overtime ability that does not wake sleeping targets curse explosion a skill that will detonate all of your curses at once dealing both a base damage and all the remaining damage from any dot that's applied to the Target by consuming it Swift healing your bread and butter low cooldown heal that can be used two consecutive times cursed nightmare W's Fury attack that applies a sleep after a few seconds when successfully Landing this ability also doubles any dot damage that's applied on a sleeping Target Clay salvation your bigger burst heal on a higher cool down and karmic Haze which spreads all of your curses which includes sleep to everyone near your Target and that's it guys let me know what weapon combination you guys plan on playing in the comment
