joining us on this program this is a fountain of Israel's Bible studies program and as always it's an honor for me to stand before you on the lord's holy Sabbath day so we are in our series back to basics back to basics and again this series is geared towards people who would like to share the truth of the Scriptures with friends and they don't know where to start so like I said last week look in the playlist on the channel founder of Israel and send them back to basics now we started off with what happens to us when we die where are the dead you know that's that sort of thing that I believe that is a very basic lesson with just you know the scriptures are straightforward and this week one of the topics I want to tackle is one Jacque one tittle a lot of times when people are in Christianity or you know don't really have a firm grasp on on the topic soon as they get into their New Testament or if they're heavily heavily indoctrinated into Christendom then they believe that the law has all done away with they believe that Christ has paid it all and you don't have to do anything and yes he did pay he is the propitiation of our sins however they think that releases you from any accountability and responsibility so the lesson today will center around it not being done away with his law and a couple of things that we have to understand is that the law is you know it's the Torah it's just one long document okay it's broken up into five books and then of course the prophets or you know makes up the Tanakh which is all in all the Old Testament okay but as it as it pertains to the law they can be categorised okay they can be capitalized or they officially categorize not necessarily but they are categorized it can become law right sometimes they categorize as the royal law like the 10min Ten Commandments thou shalt not and thou shalt do these things some in the affirmative some in the negative do you have your debt dietary law it is the law that determines clean and unclean foods or what is food and what is not you have ceremonial laws or holy day laws which are the annual Sabbath's okay you have those type of laws things that that Israel and those who want to achieve you know salvation and be grafted in the things that they have to do obviously you also have the animal sacrifice law okay this is what you had to do to atone for sin okay there's peace-offering sin offerings meat offerings burnt offerings and so on and and so forth and then finally you have judgmental law which are the penalties for breaking said law so the laws can be broken up in different categories some laws are applicable and some are not okay depending on the context depending on the time that we're living in but in Christendom and Christendom it is blanketed nope you don't have to do anything that's simply not true brothers and sisters okay that is simply not true okay the laws as a whole make up a particular covenant okay we also have agricultural laws we have Levitical priesthood type laws things that pertain to just them I and we have to understand that but I want to take this basic lesson in title one jot or one tittle and just show you that the law still stands with that being in mind let's go ahead and jump right over to Exodus chapter 20 Exodus chapter 20 where the law where the official law came from so we're gonna go to Exodus chapter 20 and I'm just gonna pick it up in verse 1 so join me in Exodus chapter 20 verse 1 let the Bible speak God speak all these words saying my god which have brought thee out of out of the house of bondage yes without some have no other guards of gods before me okay I shall not make unto thee on to the any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water underneath so all the little signs are little crosses and doves and all that no can't have those things go ahead ancient images of Jesus can't have that either go ahead and I shall not bow down myself to them to them nor serve them for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God visiting the iniquity visiting the iniquity of the father's upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me yes and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me yes and do what and keep my Commandments that's who he's showing mercy to okay those who love them and keep his Commandments continue thou shalt not make them take the name of the LORD thy God in vain for the Lord will will not hold him guiltless that taketh his his name in vain okay um we have a lesson you know about taking the Lord's name in vain it's not what you think it is at first blush but go to that lesson that is not in the back-to-basics lesson back to basics series so go ahead take a look at that lesson if you want a deeper understanding of not taking the Lord's name in vain continue yesterday's show that she's how about Libra we may need you all that work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God in it thou shalt not do any work without nor thy son my daughter thy manservant nor thy maidservant nor thy cattle nor thy stranger that is within thy gates read on for in six days the Lord of mate with for him six days the Lord made heaven heaven and earth the sea and all that is all that is and rested the seventh day wherefore the Lord blessed this out of the day and holler it he's sanctified he made it holy okay so like he said we remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy six days thou shalt labor and do all that work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord anything I shall not do any work thou nor thy sons I thought about my manservant maidservant cattle stranger within your gates for six days the Lord made heaven and earth the sea and all that is them is and rested the seventh day wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it so we are looking at the Sabbath here and he gave an example okay so you don't work you don't make your family work in anybody else in your family don't make them work ie don't make them work for money don't make them go out and you know cut the grass and maybe just relax just chill okay stay just just be in prayer and study with the Lord spend time with your family and relax okay relax just relax have a good time meditate on the word continue verse 12 may be may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee what else thou shalt not kill thou shalt not commit adultery thou shalt not steal thou shalt not bear false witness against thy name dread thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife nor his manservant nor his ox nor his ass nor anything that is thy neighbor so none of these things that is this neighbor don't covet any of these things that doesn't belong to you none of these things belong to you don't cut in why because you can begin to plot plan scheme but we read all that because I wanted to give you guys the quote unquote Ten Commandments now we all know that these are not all the commandments and not all the things that we should and should not do okay we understand it okay but I want to leave this as a foundation and I'm telling you the law is not done away with not one jot or one tittle will pass from this law it is in Porton and it is spoken of throughout the Bible not just in the Old Testament it is spoken out throughout the Bible so in this particular lesson we're just gonna walk forward through the Bible so that you can see just how important keeping his Commandments are they are not done away with okay that's that I cannot make it any plain than that and we'll let the Bible bear that out a little bit against chapter 22 and then we'll go Deuteronomy I just want one verse from Leviticus chapter 22 because a lot of people say well you know that's Old Testament of course it says keep the commandments but we're in the new covenant we'll get there momentarily Leviticus 22 and verse 31 just at one verse I therefore shall you keep my Commandments and do them therefore you shall keep thy Commandments and do them I am the Lord okay so let's let's let's get this down in our consciousness okay so Deuteronomy chapter 4 Deuteronomy chapter 4 let's see what that has for us Deuteronomy chapter 4 pick it up at verse 1 let the Bible speak now therefore hearken to the statute which I teach you to do this he say listen up Israel so I'm talking to you - listen up Israel listen up Israel I'm gonna teach you all these judgments and these statues and for you to do them okay that they may live go ahead you shall not add unto the word which I command you neither shall ye diminish diminish diminish mm-hmm that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you go ahead your eyes have seen what the Lord did because they okay I'll be up here for all the men that followed be up here mm-hmm the LORD thy God had destroyed them from long hmm they even do that they cleave until on to the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day yes behold I have taught you tiny statues and judgments even afterward my god commanding me that you should do so in command whether you go to possess it yes now let's jump let's jump over to Deuteronomy 5 go up one chapter go to Deuteronomy chapter 5 we're just we're working our way through go start at verse 25 5 and 25 Deuteronomy now therefore why should we die for this great fire will consume us mm-hmm if we hear the voice of the Lord our God anymore then we shall die maybe for who was there of all flesh and that had heard the voice of the Living God reeking out of the midst of the fire game as we have live Israel this is what makes you different go ahead go down near and hear all that the Lord our God shall say and you speak that unto us all about them all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee and we will hear it and do it well here in do it go ahead and the Lord and the Lord heard the voice of your words when you need spake unto me meaning and the world and the Lord said unto me I have heard the voice of the echo the words of this people living what do they have spoken unto thee and they have well said all that they have spoken movement oh that there are words such and a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my Commandments all my Commandments always mm-hmm that it might be well with them mm-hmm and with their children forever I wish the Lord's like you know what it would be a good thing that they would just do this forever if they would do it teach their children and just do that forever that would be good that it might be well with them and with their children forever go one chapter Deuteronomy 6 and start at verse 15 Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 15 let the Bible speak yes that's the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee and you store thee from off the face of the earth and ye shall not tempt the Lord your God as he tempted him in my Southside mm-hmm ye Charlotte diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his testimonies and his statutes which he hath commanded thee okay you're supposed to keep it why because we made a deal and we said we would keep it but we know they didn't but I'm pointing out the fact that they still stand and they were still talking about it over and over and over throughout the Bible okay these Commandments that most people want to say are done away with okay Joshua 22 go up to Joshua 22 for me we're moving quickly because we're going through a lot of scriptures Joshua 22 and pick up verse 5 for me what else does it say about his Commandments diligent heed to do the commandment and a law which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you to love to love the Lord your God to walk in here all these ways and to keep his Commandments to cleave unto him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul okay so he pretty much made it clear as to what we're supposed to do now some of Israel I actually tried to do it but as a whole as a nation they fail they broke that particular covenant which is important to remember that all these law statutes of Commandments are part of the Covenant guy he laid out the covenant over an exodus and then they say what all the job all that the Lord has said we will do okay so let's jump up to Psalm go to the Book of Psalms okay this whole lives and that we call it different things okay it's the law is the covenant you know the New Testament is two testimonies testifying of the law in the coming Messiah and his first his first coming which are called the Gospels and his second coming on his return okay so we have all this contained in that all this stuff that people want to ignore pushed aside and just make it a touchy-feely emotional hey you know what Christ died on the cross for us hey that I might be saved that's all I got to do is believe they selling you a bill of goods that is not true it takes a little more than that Psalm 78 pick it up at verse 5 Psalm 78 he dealt he dealt with this with his people okay so let's see what he said and Psalm chapter 78 pick up in verse 5 please let the Bible speak for he established the testimony in Jacob meaning an appointed along is we did which he commanded our fathers should make them known to their children we're supposed to be teaching our children that stuff Israel go ahead let the generation to come might know that even though children we should be born yes who should arise and declare them to their children somebody got to tell them something go ahead that they might might set their hope in God yes get the works of God no no keep his command but do worry that again verse eight it might not be as their fathers a stubborn rebellious generation a man a generation that said not their heart right any spirit was not steadfast with God man this is our job brothers and sisters our job to teach this to our kids tell them that it matters should they walk away when they get older hey that's on them they got to be accountable for themselves but while they're under your roof you're supposed to teach it to them let them know what it is so that they have a chance in a hope that they might know the Lord maybe they pick up the mantle and run with it and say you know what yes I do want to obey god I do want to know God I do want to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling but somebody has to tell them in the first place but what's being told now is it doesn't matter it's done away with and everything changed go to Psalm 103 Psalm 103 and we get to Psalm 103 I want to pick it up at verse 15 103 verse 15 let the Bible speak yep what else for the wind pass it over it and it is gone yep and the place thereof shall know it no more yeah we live we die go ahead but the mercy of the Lord is from every is from everlasting to everlasting remember them that fear him and his righteousness quality children's shows yes what else see such as to keep his covenant and to those that remember his Commandments to do this oh that's what he's talking about said to such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his Commandments to do them oh no that change that that didn't count anymore you don't have to worry about that even though we have the same God who says you know I'm the law change not right okay same thing they go well you know what Jesus would Jesus said they said he said he's the same yesterday today and forever right so it sounds very similar right okay but ask but that's what they want to tell you that's the Billy that they want to sell you they want us to tell you that hey it doesn't matter don't worry about it so all this counting for all the profits and everything in Old Testament all that counted all this counts it means something but in the New Testament the worst of the children of Israel who know not God who don't have the customs don't have the original language not in their land don't know nothing we were so far removed but all of a sudden we moved to the New Testament and we got it on easy street you want somebody to sell you that bill of goods at least back then when we're under a king we had a theistic king I can't I believe in God I think the king that tried to serve God someone who tried to serve the Most High but no those people who were trying to live under this covenant yeah we know Israel messed up we got it okay that's how we got here today we know that but I'm saying a society that was trying to live under God's law statues and commandment we had we got an easy street the ones who are far worse today a nation and a generation they're hardly even knows what righteousness looks like but we yeah we got it better we have way less responsibility somehow someway go to psalm 119 I just want one verse psalm 119 he said in Psalm 103 and verse 18 he said to such as keep his commandment and to those that remember his Commandments to do them so nobody wants to even try what anyone do they want to hit you at overwhelm oh well it's just so many there's over 600 laws so you know you can't keep it don't worry about it thank God Jesus and now you rest on your laurels and you feel like you have nothing psalm 119 verse 15 where the verse fifteen say 115 I'm sorry 119 verse 115 there's a lot of verses over in psalm so depart from me you evildoers you know I don't keep the commandments oh my god there you go depart from me you evildoers so when you're walking around and you have people out there go to Jeremiah 31 please go to Jeremiah 31 you go to Jeremiah chapter 31 so you're walking around you're trying to do righteousness as best as you can today because that's what you have to strive you have to try yeah it's a holdfast to that which is good and you can't worry about the evil that people are doing here today the evil that they are doing today they get by not away be careful of that Jeremiah 31 Tatum at verse 31 okay all these laws all that equates to is the Covenant this is the agreement that's it that's what the covenant is it's an agreement so Jeremiah 31:31 says what okay so he he was pretty clear on who this covered in this wit to begin with go ahead not according to the covenant that i made with their fathers in the day that I took them by hand by the head to bring them out of the land of Asia okay so they said not according to the covenant that was before so let's go ahead and touch on that okay if we go back to Exodus we won't do that right now but we go back to Exodus what he laid down the laws and statutes commanded he said okay do this do that do this do that do this and then and then Moses sacrifice a lamb got the hyssop sprinkle the blood all over the congregation right do we remember this okay he Springs of blood throughout the congregation everything and they say okay all that he says we will do you listen and obey we'll do all that we're agreement we have witnesses because this testimony is less witness heaven and earth is a witness against thee we have a witness we have agreement we have blood just like a marriage isn't that just like a marriage yes or yes okay so we have all that but he said not according okay to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them out on land took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt which my covenant they break go ahead Oh like a marriage okay go ahead continue what is he gonna do after those days saith the Lord and will be their God and they shall be my people so he just said how he's gonna do the husband so now in a New Testament okay in a New Testament after those days he said I'm gonna put my laws in their heart why because there's gonna be a day where you're gonna get scattered and you won't have to scroll handy with you you won't be able to go city to city and go get those Scrolls so it's finally a good idea to get it internalized into your heart and have an understanding of what the most high want you and I to do yes or yes okay because it was gonna be a day where are you gonna be scattered okay but this is that but this shall be the Covenant that I'm making with the house of Israel after those days says the Lord I will put my law in their inner parts and write in their hearts and I will be their God and they shall be my people in verse 34 and they shall teach no more every man just his name man and every man his brothers are you saying know the Lord mmm before they shown for they shall all know me this is when he returns will go ahead from the least of them on to the greatest of them take the Lord for I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more but let's go ahead and jump on up to Hebrews chapter eight okay Hebrews chapter eight now we talked about that first covenant we talked about the new covenant that the Lord wants to make with Israel so let's go to Hebrews chapter eight because people love you know people get itchy when you stand there to knock a little too long you start talking tour a little too long you know they start breaking out in rashes so what we're gonna do is just go ahead and get on up to the New Testament so people start feeling better go ahead and get them some of this New Testament benadryl real quick all right just go ahead and go Hebrews chapter eight let's go to verse one if you don't mind Hebrews 8:1 what does the Bible say we have such a high priest so we know where Christ is okay we know where the Mashiach II is go ahead in minister of the sanctuary and of the truth charminar yes which the Lord pitched and not man okay he set it up not man go ahead for every high priestess or a day to offer gifts and sacrifices therefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer a hand go ahead for if we for if he were on earth he should not be a priest do I have seen that there are priests that offered gifts according to the law exactly who served onto the onto the example and shadow of heavenly things then as Moses was a admonished of God of God when he was and he was about to make determinant right for this for see he says he saith he and I thought make all things according to the pattern shown to be shown to be in the mouth read but now hath he had he obtained a more excellent ministry meaning by how much also he he is the mediator of a better covenant which was established upon better promises okay so he said now but had he obtained a more excellent ministry by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant which was established upon better promises in verse 7 for if that first covenant had been faultless he meant this she don't play happy second okay so he says so the first one had been probably meaning no one messed up but by show of hands did Israel mess up raise your hand if they messed up okay yeah they messed up alright so but when he said in verse eight he said now if it would be fatherless meaning no one broke the agreement no one broke the covenant but we know somebody broke the covenant okay he said we need to have a need for the second one but in verse eight was I saying that's the people finding fault with him not the Covenant finding fault with them he said what he said behold the day's come so he only made the second because they messed up the first one yes sir yes that's that's the whole reason why he made a second one that's why I is a little bit better cuz it's based on something else now is gonna be putting on your heart and now it's gonna be by the blood of the mediator cuz if you go to Hebrews 10 was it talking about blood note saying that and I've never really worked because they had to keep doing it that's what it's talking about right okay so verse 9 not less he said he's gonna make this how again in the new test when he repeats I'll make a new covenant with the house of Israel in the house of Judah so that pretty much covers who the covenants wit for now okay go ahead regarding not continue for this is the covenant that i will make with the house of israel after those days saith the lord i will do away with my law go ahead i will put my laws into better mine and write them in their heart and i will be beating than a god and it shall be to me a people people uh not one jot of one till ok not one job but one till and I'm talking about the laws that apply to you and I I'm not talking about Adric agricultural laws and way if you're in Jerusalem you have to do this you have to do that I'm not talking like that that has to do with Jerusalem I'm not talking my laws it has to do with a third temple I'm not talking about laws it has to do with being a Levite or the Levitical priesthood but see that's what they try to do they try to trick you and you want to go to once to go to laws that you know you cannot possibly keep can you not covet your neighbor's stuff it's possible right ok don't hate on somebody else don't be mad and jealous cuz someone does have it don't plot and scheme to try to get it from them go get your own could you not bear false witness against your neighbor cuz you just not lie on someone cuz you just keep your mouth shut is that possible I just simply tell the truth say nothing or if you say something tell the truth or just don't bear fit and you know what I'm not in that I'm not in just so you know I'm not for you know do you think to yourself I'm not gonna bear false witness I guess I want to say you say you know I'm not in it don't I have no comment leave it alone is it is that impossible I honor that mother and father you can you can't give them a little bit of honor oh you don't know my mom my dad okay doesn't mean you gotta curse them out even if you were not around and if you say well you know we fight we you know okay we'll forgive them from a distance but if you have to go out of there out of your way to dishonor them so is it possible is it possible not to murder someone I'm not talking about self-defense I'm not telling my protecting your family news flash that it's not murder that is killing someone without a cause they didn't do nothing to you or what that's murder someone break into your house and they're standing over your baby and it's them or your baby that's not murder you killed them but it's not murdered there's a difference is it possible as I served the one true and living God is that possible is it possible not to take his name in vain things like that is it possible to observe and worship Him on the set apart how old they called the Sabbath is that possible or do you just have to do it on Sunday or do you act like a coward and try to be slick and say well you know I worship I worship them every day is that is it possible just to do it the day that he said and then you can throw in all those other days that you want but it's gotta be the Sabbath the main Bay has got to be the seventh day you can't do that is that impossible don't let someone fool you don't let someone trick you can that's what they do they do slick talk when it's something they don't want to do they try to get slick with it and then they try to overwhelm you what about this what about that what about this and trying to over and just give you an avalanche of laws to make you go ahead and cower under the weight and say oh I can I guess I can't do it I guess we can't do it but it's okay brother Jesus did it all for you go to Matthew 5 chapter 5 please go to Matthew chapter 5 Matthew chapter 5 and when you get to Matthew chapter 5 do me a huge favor and pick it up at verse 17 nice and loud please let the Bible speak I am come to destroy the law this is Jesus talking or the prophets I am not come to destroy but to fulfil mm-hmm for verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law okay now he said in 18 he said for verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled so my question is is all fulfilled he's not back yet Israel's not in their land the Gentiles still running everything curses are still upon us so is it all fulfilled yet but people people I will see see and then I don't know the biggest one that he puts right there until heaven and earth pass heaven still here there but it's above your hand right now you walk out your front door and the earth is still under your feet so it's not gonna pass until that's done verse 19 go ahead whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Commandments and shall teach men so he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven come on but whosoever shall do and teach them they shall be called great of the kingdom of heaven so I choose to do and teach them to the best of my ability that's my choice but what have you been getting in Christendom that's my question to you brothers and sisters what have you been getting and Christendom oh but oh but any even get a whole lot of Paul epistle and I got nothing against Paul I get I have something against those who teach bomb or I should say miss teach we got lessons on that as well but I want to I'm gonna call it right down the line this is basic I'm not going into deep theology with anyone right now okay we got some this is a milk lesson we got meat lessons too okay you just check the channel this is back the Biggs I want to keep it nice and basic I can hear the arguments you guys will be able to look at the comments and stuff you're gonna have people with slicker but what about this and this and this and they got oh you can't do this and now sister oh-ho no he hadn't died yet no no no no it's it's Oh heaven and earth they didn't say until I die did it say until I die didn't say that okay so we're not playing games we're not doing the slick talk okay we're not doing that Matthew chapter 19 let's continue let's keep going okay so this is many enemies Jeff 14 chapters away let's see how he's talking Matthew chapter 9 start at verse 16 and behold one came and said unto Him master what good thing shall I do that I made that I may have eternal life that is the million dollar question continue and he said unto him why callest thou me good there is none good but one God but if thou wilt enter into life Commandments okay so did he not answer the guy's question yes or no he answered a question what how how do I get eternal life that's a fair question hey good master how do I get eternal life he answered the question okay and so he said and then he start running it down okay you start running it down but he said seventeen and he said unto him why causes me good there is none good but one that is God but if thou are to enter into life keep the commandments Christ was in heaven before okay but he says there's no one good because he's in a fleshly body now because he's insane but he's in an imperfect you know by no he did not sin I want someone putting in the comments below oh you're saying you know he's not perfect no he's not in a mortal body okay he's sinless but he's not in in a mortal body all right so an eighteen he said and he said unto Him which Jesus said thou shalt not have if you continue in 18 if you continue in eighteen he he continues and he started breaking it down and you know where he got it from and then another one what he tried to do some slick talkin 18 he says and he said unto Him which jesus said thou shalt do no murder thou shall not commit adultery thou shall not steal thou shalt not bear false witness what'd he say 19 continue what else okay so we're gonna stop right there now he started we know where he got these from Old Testament but here's some more slick top warnings that I have to bring up to you notice he didn't say oh well you know keep the Sabbath he didn't say keep the Sabbath he also didn't say don't serve any of the God in this verse either so is it okay to go serve another guy he also did say well don't use the Lord's name in vain but is it okay to lose the Lord's name in vain now all of a sudden he also didn't say well don't make any graven images and everything which we know is idolatry so is it okay to commit idolatry you see how they try to be slick do you understand that see what they want they want a complete retelling of the Old Testament and to knock for it to be valid that's what they want they're looking for a complete retelling you're like are you serious what are they using what what are they using in the New Testament to teach others don't worry I'll wait let's go on to John 14 John 14 John chapter 14 this is a back to basis lesson but I'm not gonna play games with you we're just gonna call it right down the line and that's it John chapter 14 pick it up at verse 12 if you were brother verily verily I say unto you he that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also mmm the greater works bang bang then these shall he do I don't want to my father yes whatsoever ye shall ask in my name that will I do yea that the father may be glorified in the son yes if ye shall ask anything in my name man do it if you love me keep my Commandments 3:15 again if ye love me keep my command if you love me keep my Commandments so what about all these people say oh I love Jesus oh I love this sure well if you love them how do you prove that you keep his Commandments more slick talk I'm glad you guys ask another slick talk they're gonna do they're gonna say well hey you know what Christ has all these Commandments and they don't need to give you a list of Commandments and then nothing will be clear it'll be just touchy-feely emotional hey you know just just just just love your neighbor as yourself love God believe on Jesus no really no action steps whatsoever nothing just more just more slick talk that's why we have to get back to basics on some of this stuff we have to introduce new people and give them a firm foundation to say hey you know what you one of the things you got to give up is going to be a lot of false doctrine and one of the biggest false doctrines is that the law is done away with one of the biggest they have corrupted the law today he said in 15 if ye love me keep my Commandments plain and simple go second Peter chapter 2 talking about this law talking about this way they caught that you know they call this whole thing you know the way and Isaiah they call this what we we teach this truth what the way this is the way of truth the way but not everybody likes the way what is in a second Peter chapter two pick it up at verse one please but there were false prophets awesome of course even as there shall be false teachers among you who privately privately shall bring Adem Adem noble heresies heresies even denying the word that button yep and bring upon themselves Swift destruction what else and many shall follow the their pernicious ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of oh wait a minute rebut refers to again for me and many shall follow their pernicious ways by reason my reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken yea the way of truth shall be evil spoken up if I'm tellin you the way okay kind of like Christ saying to the rich young ruler saying hey you know what you want to enter in their life you want eternal life keep the commandments that's that's a way but that's gonna be evil spoken of and typically it is evil spoken of on Sunday it is evil spoken of he said that maybe father pernicious ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of verse three and through covetous covetousness shall they be saying bad words mm-hmm make merchandise up you know huh whose judgment now of a long time eateth not and their damnation is not yea because they make you feel better about the sin that you're living in that's what they do okay that's why they're gonna make merchandise if you guess why because you can be parked on the shopping shelves of the lake of fire because that's where they that's what they're placing you you can you you can confess all these things what I'm doing this I'm doing that I know that I and then they just just just make you feel better that's just saying look look yeah that's yeah that's a sin that that obsessed a corn changed scripture that up says the Lord you need to stop that you need to repent you need to turn that around you need to stop you need to do better before it's too late they just know well you know Jesus you know paid it all he knew he knew you couldn't do it he knew you know you're not strong enough but the power of Jesus they're just giving you a wrong picture of it and please make no mistake about it I have no problem with Jesus okay no problem with Jesus the Christ no problem with Yeshua HaMashiach or yahushua whatever name you want to use I don't have a problem with that I don't I have a problem with those teaching or miss teaching him Romans chapter 7 Romans chapter I just want one verse when we go over here Romans chapter 7 when you go there just give me verse 1 just give me just just just give me verse 1 real quick and the last time I checked Roman was in the New Testament so Romans chapter 7 verse 1 what does I say there no little R what oh come on come on does that come on does that need an explanation what are we doing here huh no you're not brethren for I speak to them that know the law how that the law had dominion over a man as long as he liveth I'm gonna stop right there I'm gonna stop right there okay I'm gonna stop right there for as long to see you alive right you're hearing me right you're alive that's how long the law has dominion over you you're alive Romans chapter 2 this is crazy this is Romans chapter 2 how people just want to steal this from you this is insane Romans chapter 2 just give me one verse chapter 13 if you will go ahead Romans chapter 2 verse 13 for not the hearers of the law are just before God but what but the doers of the law shall be justified 3 then again for not the hearers of the law are just before God but the doers of the law shall be just because they want to go to the other ones that says oh you know by your works no man should be justified what no no no no don't misunderstand we know who is the justifier of our faith but if you ain't doing anything you probably don't even have a chance if you don't wanna hear the covenant practice covenant strive try do something you don't even have a chance John 14 and 21 we got to knock out these last few places John 14 and 21 John 14 twenty-one mm-hmm he that hath my Commandments and keepeth them he it is that loveth me and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him oh so look that's interesting now let's jump back just for a second okay go ahead and y'all you know somebody go ahead put their calamine lotion on because I know they don't like Old Testament too much but we're gonna go to one spot and then we'll get right back to the New Testament proverbs twenty eight and nine okay read the proverbs 28:9 then we'll jump right back to the new tested proverbs chapter 28 and I just want one verse read verse 9 he that turneth away his his ear from hearing the law even his prayer shall be abomination easy okay doo-doo-doo we want you know what let's let's read it one more time for emphasis please go ahead he that turned away his ear from hearing the law even his prayer shall be abomination you don't want to hear the law he don't want to hear your prayers that's not me saying it okay that's the scripture saying not good let's go back to the New Testament first John go ahead first John okay go to first John I'm gonna read a couple of places okay first John and go to chapter two if you will first four verses first John chapter 2 verse 1 let the Bible speak my little children these things write right all right unto you that ye sin not that you sin not so we know what sin is which is the transgression of the law so he's right hopefully that you do not sin but what and if any man sin we have we have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ the righteous okay go ahead and he is a propitiation appreciation for our sins and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world okay now now you come out to sins and grafton in other people okay you time I bring it in that is not fully okay going in today we can get into the olive tree and being grafted in all that and other letters but we talked about this right now okay so he is the propitiation of our sins and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world verse 3 and do know that we know oh here we go if we keep his commands so what they like oh I know Jesus all I know my lord not if you don't keep his Commandments you don't because the next verse says what he let's say I know him didn't he keep it tonight his commandment is a life oh and the truth is not in him ah really so guess what folks you don't even have to argue with somebody to say oh uh we ain't got to do that we got to do they say what do you know what yeah I know my lord well according to Scripture so they can argue with you all day long and say well you're not arguing with me I'm just telling you what I can read right here you said you know the Lord but it says in verse three in first John of chapter 2 it says hereby we know that we know him if we keep his Commandments a you don't have to do it and yet you still say you know him and then it says in verse 4 he that said I know him and keep it not his commandment is a liar I didn't say that and the truth is not in him you don't even have to argue with people let's go down let's go down a little bit more agree verse 5 and stop at 7 go ahead but whosoever keepeth his word in him verily is the love love of God perfect perfecting grant here but hereby note we know B that we are in him mm-hmm he that saith and a but but in him ought himself also also so to walk even as he walked mm-hmm brethren I write no new commandment unto you no commandment which he had from the beginning yeah the one you have from the beginning go ahead the old commitment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning no old time now what if we're to say in verse 8 again a new commandment I write unto you which thing is shooting him and in you because the darkness is past and the true light now shining so now it's time for the new covenant but the same old laws but look at WestEd and verse 7 he said first time stopped at 6 he said he that says he abiding in him ought himself also also so to walk even at he walked so he walked around similar so you should be at least trying to do that right so that's what people say and in verse said brethren I write no new commandment unto you but an old commandment with she had from the beginning which ye had from the beginning the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning nothing has changed the only thing he said in verse eight was that hey basically this new commandment is this new covenant has just come in because at this time the Messiah had died and he's a you know a high priest on the right hand of the Father right now so that darkness that we were living under has passed that you can live in the light now under this new covenant same laws new agreement sealed by the blood of Messiah first John chapter three please first John chapter three let's do that first John chapter three pick it up at verse 24 if our heart condemn us the God is greater than our heart and knoweth all things beloved if you are a heart condemn us not then we haven't then we then have we confidence toward God yes and whatsoever we ask we receive of him because we keep his Commandments why you receive something from him because we keep his Commandments again I didn't write that go ahead and do those things that are pleasing in his sight and keeping his commandment is pretty pleasing in his sight okay but go ahead go ahead and he that keepeth his commitment to will within him man he in him man and hereby we know that that he abideth in us mm-hmm by this field we have given him about a spirit which he has given us interesting interesting but you know what we're gonna finish up in our last couple of places we got like four places let's do this first John chapter five I like I really love some first John so go to chapter five if you will first John chapter five okay pick it up at verse two by this we know that we love the children of God when we love God in His commandments I read that again first two by this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his Commandments that we keep his Commandments and His commandments are not Grievous then his commandments are not Grievous that's what we have to understand well they tryna make it seem like it's just the hardest thing in the world that day it just cannot be done and they make you see my gosh this alone what he knew you couldn't do then why would he make an agreement like that what were you saying our God our God is a trickster now ha ha I knew you were gonna do it so let me go ahead and punish you when God is such that he doesn't want anybody ready to suffer that's why he's long suffering watch what these people tell you let's go to our last couple of places go to first John 5 chapter 5 did we just reach out the Frog right there okay no problem so we're gonna go to our next one Philippians you know what we're gonna read go to Revelation 12 I'll read phillipians 4:13 because people say all the way well you can't do it you can't do it so then then Philippians 4:13 is out the door which says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth about town and just to toss that one out then paint it there's no way I can worship on the Sabbath day I can't worship on the seven days is impossible I thought Christ written you well I have to bear false witness against my neighbor I don't like them I don't want to honor my mother and my father I have to lie to somebody I gotta covet what other people have yeah I'm making I'm yeah yeah yeah I hope you sense the sarcasm in my voice cuz I'm doing it on purpose it just doesn't make sense you like someone take that away from you it's not as hard as people trying to make it out to be yeah you'll stumble you'll fall like like you said in first John you know I write unto you little children that you said not but if you do you just can't do it all willy-nilly like you don't care like it doesn't matter cuz then God will test the reins revelation 12 revelation 12 I want you to see something that's pretty interesting right here revelation 12 verse 17 for me and the judging was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed uh-huh what else we should keep the commandments of God because the woman was the church okay okay you say then the dragon was wroth with the woman you saved the church or you say the Saints are with Israel and went to make war with the remnant of her seed and what else oh so that's who he's upset with the ones the dragon the devil Satan he's upset with those who are the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of God and what you mean though so wait a moment wait Satan is mad at the people that have the law and faith that did that that sounds strange he's upset with the people who have the law and faith who have both grace and love what about revelation um what about revelation 14 go up two chapters revelation 14 and then pick it up in verse 12 what does that say here's the patience of the saints come here are they that keep the commandments of God and what else in the faith of Jesus what will await Commandments and faith law and faith is this is this Old Testament or something what book are we in revelation and this is how people treat this is how people treat the law president sisters this is how people had to act like it doesn't even matter and you fall for the slick talk you look at me and I'm like okay we need to obey God need to keep his Commandments and the faith in the Messiah and I'm the bad guy all of a sudden I'm saying obey God and have faith in the Messiah that's the bottom line but I'm the bad guy I don't get it I don't understand it I don't and look at what you've been told every week every Sunday for weeks months years decades and telling you it just doesn't matter telling you it just does not matter go to our last place resin sisters now last place will be Ecclesiastes because I think this is a perfect way to conclude this basic les Ecclesiastes chapter 12 let's go to Ecclesiastes chapter 12 right after proverbs exactly chapter 12 and give me verse 13 let us hit a conclusion of the whole matter move your gun and keep his Commandments for this is the whole duty of man read that one more time please sir let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter fear God and keep his Commandments for this is the whole duty of man that's all you have to do that fear can be fear that fear can be faith that fear can be reverence respect whatever but have that and keep his Commandments that's the whole duty of man that's your whole job that's the whole enchilada now if you want you can laugh someone to come to you and tell you you don't have to do this you don't have to do that this doesn't matter that doesn't matter and you can take your chances you can't you can take your chances or you can look deeper into scriptures and say you know what let me see what the Bible is actually saying here cuz I may be missing something here because if you have that function it's down somewhere inside you and your spirit or something as saying hey it's gotta be more than what I've been getting follow that look a little bit deeper look at the look into some more lessons and say you know what it's gotta be a little bit more to the Bible than what I'm getting because I'm getting a lot of feel-good stories and get a lot of puff pieces call sermons it's up to you it is completely up to you I'm not here to convince I'm just here to teach lay it out for you is up to you and whether or not you're gonna believe it search a little bit deeper go a little bit further in your walk beyond the surface look a little bit beneath their surface look a little bit but for right now do not get overwhelmed stick with the basics I will be delivering unto you a few more basic lessons today you have a firm foundation in your beliefs and though so you won't get knocked off course so easily and so many people come into the shoe they come in at different times so I'm teaching lessons at different times in day other other classes other camps other out there they teach lessons now remember people are coming into it at different times in different ways and stuff and then they get overwhelmed they run into the wrong camps they run back and they run back into the Christian Church and they get more confused they run two different camps that are not of God does it seem like they are but they're not really of God okay and they have a lot of hate that they want to spew or they go to over to the Christian Church and have a lot of confusion get right there in the middle and walk that line be open to the scriptures be open to the scriptures be open to the spirit and hopefully hopefully in the end you'll get what you're looking for which is hopefully
