are you frustrated with learning your dermatomes and my attempts do you just want to pull your hair out learning all these random actions in these random spinal levels well you're not alone but let me help because there's an easier way so first thing is to learn the moves starting with the Maya tomes of the upper limb c1 c2 next flexion neck extension now we're going to do this move two times for the dance c3 neck lateral flexion again two times c4 we've got shoulder elevation followed by C 5 C 5 gets a little bit more complicated because we're adding two moves in now c5 is shoulder abduction with elbow flexion for the actual dance we can be a little bit more creative with it though take a few steps c6 we have elbow flexion wrist extension why don't you add a little body wave to it c7 is just the opposite then elbow extension with wrist flexion stick your butt out a little bit add some pizzazz to it c8 thumb extension with finger flexion t1 finger abduction that's it for upper limb now let's move on to lower limb lower limb l1 l2 and l3 we're going to do hip flexion one two three and four l4 then is knee extension do it twice on each side again l5 is ankle dorsiflexion so pull your foot and your toes up for the simplified version just stick your foot out bring it back for the more possessed version if you've got any Latin experience and a salsa move to it s1 ankle flexion angle plantar flexion s2 knee flexion come on up for s3 and s4 the anal wink now that we've learned the myotubes it's time to move on to the dermatomes so starting with c5 tap your shoulder c6 you test with the pad of your thumb c7 the pad of your middle finger c8 the pad of your little finger t1 medial forearm t4 is the nipple t10 the umbilicus l1 the groin crease l4 medial foot l5 dorsum of the foot s1 lateral foot and s 3 through 5 perineum are you ready let's do this
