First one, NCRT granted Deemed University Status. The National Council of Educational Research and Training has been granted Deemed University Status. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made this announcement while attending the 63rd Foundation Day Celebrating Program of NCRT in Delhi. He also announced that Balbavan will be merged with NCRT Zone. Next SEBI reconstitute panel on alternative investment policy. The Securities and Exchange Board of India has reconstituted its Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee with 25 members to advise on issues impacting the development of the alternative investment fund. Funding AIF Space The committee is chaired by Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayanamurthy and includes members from SEBI and the Minister of Finance and Industry Associations. Next one, India successfully launched its first mission to the Sun. India has successfully launched its first observation mission to the Sun called Aritya L1. It will travel 1.5 million km from Earth and it takes 4 months to reach its destination. The mission will study the Sun and its behavior even during eclipse. It is named after Surya, the Hindu god of the Sun. This spacecraft will orbit the Sun at the same rate as the Earth. Next, CCI approved merger of Visatra into Air India. The Competition Commission of India, CCI it means, has approved the merger of Tata SIA Airlines into Air India with certain conditions. The consolidation will make Air India India's largest international carrier and the second largest domestic carrier. Zero SIA will invest. Rs.259 crore in Air India as part of the merger transaction. Post the consolidation, SIA shall hold 25.1% shareholding in Air India. Next one, International Convention Center will be built between BTR in Baha. The International Convention Center in Valmiki Nagar is being built amidst nature. It will offer a panoramic view of the mountains and the greenery of the forest to tourists. Tourists will also be able to see the flowing river Gandak from inside the convention center. Bihar CM Nithish Kumar is likely to inaugurate the convention centre on 22 December 2023. Next, President Traubadi Marmoh grants assent to Women's Reservation Bill. President Traubadi Marmoh has given her assent to the Women's Reservation Bill which was passed by both the House during the recent special session of Parliament. The Central Government has issued a gas set notification for the legislation which is also on the table. called Nari Shakti Vandan Admiyayam. After the President's assent, now the legislation has become a law. Next, the Ministry of Mines has successfully concluded its special campaign 2.0, a stride towards a swath star, promoting environmental sustainability and cleanliness. The campaign ran from November 2022 to August 2023 and achieved several notable milestones. Iran-India Joint Chamber signs MOU with Federation of Indian Export Vice President of Iran-India Joint Chamber of Commerce Mahindra Rangorna and Director General of Federation of India Export Organization Ajay Shai signed on MOU to strengthen trade and investment. AIDB approves USD 30 million loan to improve education sector in Bhutan. The Asian Development Bank has approved a USD 30 million loan to improve Bhutan's technical and vocational education and training TVET system. The project aims to enhance the skills and employability of Bhutan's youth by constructing new buildings, workshops and hostels. The ADB grant will help improve ASUS too and expand the coverage of TVET courses. UK Sahan Logistic City Birmingham declare itself bankrupt.
