TLD850 Parcel Dimensioning Technology

The TLD850 sets the standard for static parcel dimensioning. It is capable of accurately measuring cuboidal shapes as well as known irregular shapes with varying surfaces delivering an exceptional read rate with resolutions down to 5 mm on the length and width and 2 mm on the height. Now, let's put it to the test with the demonstration of some of the most common and challenging parcel geometries and surfaces. Let's begin by measuring basic cuboidal test box with a wooden surface. Here you see our remote dashboard which displays the measuring results along with a point load, showcasing the measurements. While many dimensioners can accurately measure basic cuboidal objects with non-reflecting surfaces, measuring a test box wrapped in shiny black plastic can be a challenge for camera dimensioners. With the highest resolution in the industry, our dimensioner can measure even the smallest packages Legal-for-Trade. The TLD850 can measure packages that are as flat as 20 mm and as narrow as 50 mm in width and length. Our dimensioner is capable of accurately measuring commonly used shapes in the parcel industry including triangular and cylidrical tubes. The TLD850 is designed to handle even the largest parcels measuring up to 1200 mm in length, and 900 mm in width. This ensures the highest revenue recovery for larger parcel objects. Additionally, the LiDAR dimensioning technology provides a larger dimensioning zone as compared to camera technology even in dark environments. One of the most exciting new features of the TLD850 is the ability to measure irregular geometrics such as those commonly seen in eCommerce operations. This approval ensures accurate and reliable measurements for a wide range of parcel shapes and sizes as simulated here.
