Special thank you to Israel, Angelo, all the brothers and sisters out there, and all the kids, all the children out there. Special thanks to Janie and all of our friends over at Corpus and Houston, around the country, all the brothers out west, Brother Henry, everyone who supports us. I can't possibly name everyone there, but it's so good to be back. I'm glad you guys were hanging with us while we were in transition.

But we are back. And so with that, what we're going to do is we're going to do a lesson entitled to the law and to the testimony. And the reason I'm going to do this particular lesson is because I participate in a number of debates.

And usually debates is between, you know, sometimes it's Tanakh only, brothers and sisters. Sometimes, you know, it's Messianic. Sometimes it is Christian.

OK, now we're obviously Torah observant, you know, Messianic. So we're right in between Tanakh only and Christian. Okay, but one of the problems or the points of contention that often occur is the Disagreement between Old Testament New Testament popular thought is that you know, the Old Testament is a different Dispensation and that the New Testament doesn't wholly agree with the Old Testament now, obviously there are some changes In the New Testament, but it's not a change in the law as a whole Obviously, we don't do animal sacrifice right now.

That is suspended. So we don't do that. So there is slight changes.

But the law and the covenant as a whole has not changed. We're only witnessing the fulfillment of Scripture and God's plan. But the argument still ensues. It doesn't stop any of us from going back and forth and debating the issue. truth, debating the veracity of the scripture.

And yet, it goes on and on and on. So what I want to do is I want to, in this particular lesson, seek harmony in the scriptures, show you that the New Testament does indeed agree with the Old Testament. And it's just a fulfillment of God's plan.

In fact, the New Testament, or the Breit Hadashah, quotes the Tanakh and Torah. over and over and over and over to show harmony. One of the things I think we miss sometimes is when we get to the New Testament, we forget that there is no New Testament Bible. There's no New Testament book. I know that might confuse some people.

But what I mean is that those in the first century had no New Testament scriptures. We know the New Testament is simply letters, but they did not open these letters every... Shabbat or every Sunday and taught from them.

We all know that they taught from the Old Testament because that's all they had. And all their quotes were from the Old Testament. So the point is to show you all that there is harmony, as I said before, in the scripture.

So that is quoted over and over and over. In fact, over 200 times there were direct quotes or illusions but never doing away with never nullifying destroying that's not what we teach nor is that what we believe so we took the title of this particular lesson from Isaiah 8 and 20 so that's where we're going to start we're gonna go Isaiah 8 20 read that and then we're going to get into the bulk of our scriptures So let's go to Isaiah chapter 8 and just pretty much read. Verse 20. Isaiah 8 and 20, when you get there, son, go ahead, read.

To the law and the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no right in them. Now, obviously, this scripture is not referring to the New Testament. I am just simply taking liberty in using it to mean both the Old Testament and the New Testament. But we know this is Old Testament, not referring to the New Testament.

It's talking about the Torah and the testimony of all the prophets. So we understand that. OK, but.

Just for the sake of this lesson, we're talking Old Testament, New Testament, and we're finding the harmony and the agreement thereof. So with that being said, let's we're going to jump around a few places. OK, let's go to the book of Acts, chapter two, go to the book of Acts, chapter two. We're going to go to a number of different places and just show you some of the harmony, show you how the first century apostles, how the first century believers, how they.

reconcile what was happening in their day in light of the scriptures that they held dearly okay so let's just go we're just going so we're gonna go today we're gonna go Old Testament New Testament just show you what's going on there Old Testament New Testament Old Testament and test we're gonna do that quite a bit we're gonna jump around so acts 2 I want to go to verse 17 acts 2 and verse 17 initial comes to pass in the last days say God I will pour out of my spirit upon all things, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And all my servants and all my handmaidens, I will pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy."And they shall prophesy. So what we want to understand here is The subject matter is going to change because we're going to different, different scriptures, obviously. OK, so the topic obviously cannot just be held and contained into one in this particular lesson. But I do want to jump from different scriptures and show you where they picked it up in the Old Testament. OK, so that we can have some harmony, because traditionally, you know what? In this particular instance, I'll speak for myself in decades and decades and decades. And I do literally mean decades. decades of going to Sunday church it was never taught this way okay it was never taught that hey you know it all goes together it harmonizes okay it is not too completely different dispensation okay there's a part of God's plan here for the people at this time there's a there's an unfolding of the exact same plan okay so we stopped at verse 18 go at 19 son Go to Joel chapter 2. We're going to see what Peter was referring to in Joel chapter 2. One of the things that was happening to me in this transition is that I was starting to thirst for the word. I had to get back into this. So I can't tell you how I'm feeling inside as far as being back. edifying the people. So thank you guys again for being with me. Joel 2, starting verse 28. Joel 2 and verse 28. Your day shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see dreams. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I Yes, sir. What else? What else? shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant of whom the Lord shall call. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And yes, sir. Let's go back to Acts chapter 2. Let's go back to Acts chapter 2. We're going to go a few places in Acts and then we'll move on. So Acts chapter 2. I want you to pick it up over at verse 25. I hope you guys noticed where Peter was quoting from. He was quoting from Joel, which we just read. Okay? So this is their understanding. You're going to notice a pattern that when they're speaking or writing a letter, they're quoting, they're referencing Old Testament. But we have to understand when it comes to Messianics, because that's what the apostles were, because they believed in the Messiah, is when they were speaking to people, they were trying to convert. When they were speaking to Hebrews, when they were speaking to Israelites, they were trying to convert Tanakh only into Messianics. Do we understand that? Make sense? That's what they were trying to do. So in order to do that, you have to reference the Old Testament. You have to reference the Tanakh and the Torah. You have to. Or else you're not going to get any Tanakholi to believe you, nothing you're saying, if you're not going to go back to the word. OK, they're not going to believe a word you're saying. Where do you find that in scripture? Where is that coming from? What is this new strange doctrine you're coming up with? And that's why we have the resistance from Tanakholi. Now, on the Christian side, you get easy believism. It's easy. Just believe on him and you have nothing else you have to do. And then in Christianity, you get everything is divided up. OK, well, there's just the moral law and this law and that law. Well, nine out of the 10 commandments are pretty good. We need to do that. Or if you believe in Christ, then you wouldn't want to do this. You wouldn't want to do that. Or where is that repeated in the New Testament? Things like that. Now, if you're a Christian, could you convert a Tanakh only brother or sister? with that Christian doctrine, since you're saying everything is different, everything's done away with, they will not become Christian. Because you've got something all new. It's all brand new. We've got to watch that. I said Acts 2, right? Start at verse 25, son. For David speaketh concerning him. I foresaw the Lord always before my face. For he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad. Moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope, because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to the corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life. Thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance." without countenance okay so we look at this he obviously got something he references something there as well okay he referenced something there as well you keep your mark in the book of acts and we're going to look at psalm 16 go to psalm 16 okay because he's also referencing something again the apostles kept referencing old scriptures because guess what you can tell that the word was hit in their heart they got a lot of this stuff memorized Did you tell that right? A lot of this is memorized. Okay.

So in Acts 2, we're going to Psalm 16. Psalm 16, Acts 2, what he just read was for David speaking concerning him. I foresaw the law always before my face, for he is on my right hand that I should not be moved. Therefore did my soul inhale my.

body in the grave, a body in the grave, neither without suffering thy holy one to see corruptions. You know, dead bodies corrupt, right? They decay and stuff like that. He's saying, you're not, I'm not going to be in the grave long enough for me to start decaying because we know that happens over time, right? Okay.

I'm not going to be there long enough. Now look at Psalm 16. Say again. Absolutely. It takes a long time.

It takes a long time. So let's see here. Psalm 16. Go to verse 8, son. Verse 8. I have set the Lord always before me, because he is at my right hand.

I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices. My flesh also shall rest in hope, for thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption. Okay, so that sounds familiar now, doesn't it?

So he got it from somewhere, right? This is what I'm saying. Messianic is... you talking to Tanaka you have to be talking about scripture we know what scripture is Old Testament right you have to be talking about scriptures OK, nobody went to the other one said, hey, I got this letter from Peter.

Let's read that. Hey, I got this letter from Paul or John. Let's read that.

That wasn't going to work. Because in that day, that wasn't even considered scripture. Even if you did bring a letter from one of the apostles, it wasn't considered scripture.

Right. OK, so that wasn't going to work. So the point of this whole thing is to show that there is harmony.

What the New Testament is saying and what the Old Testament said. OK, there is harmony. All right. So let's get back into this. OK, you just read Psalm 16. OK, let's go back to Acts.

OK. Acts 3. Go to Acts chapter 3. We're going to be in Acts. So keep your marker on Acts.

We'll be there a little bit. Then we'll switch lanes. OK. Acts chapter 3. And when you get to Acts chapter 3. Read verse 22. Acts chapter 3 and verse 22. Moses truly said unto the fathers, the prophet shall the word of your God raise up unto you of your brethren.

And unto me, him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that every soul which will not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among the people. So wait, wait, wait.

Time out, time out. So he's... quoting something again.

We're in Acts 3, and he's quoting something again, and like, what do we always say? Where did he get it from? Let's see where he get that from, okay?

Remember, put yourself in the mind of a first century believer. You became Messianic, and you're trying to go back to the other brothers and sisters who may not know that the Messiah has arrived. You may not know that, okay? So you have to appeal to people through Scripture. You've got to understand that.

So They referenced something. So go to Deuteronomy 18. Go to Deuteronomy 18 and we will go back to Acts. So keep your marker there.

Okay. So Deuteronomy 18. Now what he just read was Acts 3 and 22 for those who are taking notes. Acts 3 and 22. He has said for Moses truly said unto the fathers.

A prophet shall the Lord your God raise unto you of your brethren like unto me, meaning he'll come from Israel. OK, he will come out of Israel like unto me. Him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

And it shall come to pass that every soul, every person which will not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among his people. OK, now Deuteronomy 18, pick it up in 15, verse 15. Let's see where you get this from. Now that was Acts 3 and 22. Deuteronomy 18, pick it up at 15. The Lord thy God will rise up, will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thy brethren.

Of thy brethren, so it's going to be from your bloodline, from Israel. Go ahead. And thy brethren like unto me. Unto him we shall hearken. You shall listen.

Hearken means to listen. Go ahead. According to all that thou desires.

of the Lord thy God in the Lord of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear in the voice of the Lord that my God neither let me see this great fire anymore that I not die. And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a prophet from among the brethren.

like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken unto my words, and he shall speak in my name. I will require it. And I will require it.

It's going to be on you. You don't want to listen to this prophet he's talking about. Now, obviously, us, we being, you know, Messianics, we believe that, you know, that's Christ. Okay, we know that's Christ or Yeshua or Jesus.

Okay, we understand that. We're a messianic. But at the same time, I want you to understand, Christ, what did he say? My words are not my own.

They come from he who sent me. He kept on deferring to the Father, did he not? He deferred to the Father, deferred to the Father.

He's not my words. He's the Father's words. I don't do my own will.

I do the Father's will. I'm only doing here what... what the father sent me to do over and over and over in the new testament over and over and over so that's what he says and the lord said unto me thou has spoken well that uh which uh they have spoken i will raise them of a prophet from among their brethren like unto thee and i will put my words in his mouth so the father will put his words into his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I have command him as exactly sound sounds like the Messiah did that too and it shall come to pass that whosoever would not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name I require of him it's gonna be on you so you don't want the Messiah it's funny okay so you reject the Messiah it's on you I require you don't listen to him I will require it of you that's what it says right So that's what we got to understand. That's what you're looking at. Okay?

So go back to Acts chapter 3. Okay? Acts chapter 3. Just read one verse. Verse 25. Acts chapter 3, verse 25. Ye are the children of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our fathers.

Yep. Saying unto Abraham, and in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Okay, all the families, the brothers, the families, the tribes, all that, all the kindreds, everybody will be blessed.

Okay, but he got that from somewhere. Okay, there's still going to be an act, but I want to go to two places in Genesis. Genesis 22, just read that out of Acts.

Okay, we're jumping around a bit. But again, I want you guys to see again the harmony in Scripture. That's what I want you guys to see.

I want you to pay attention to that. So no one can come and deceive you and think everything is new and everything is different in the New Testament. No one can come and deceive you with that. Okay, you're going to be able to see like, no, no, no.

My Scriptures, my Old Testament, New Testament does indeed harmonize. Now, are there some troubling Scriptures out there? Leave some people a little bit confused. Of course there is. But some people have a veil over their eyes.

Some people will not go deeper in the scriptures. They won't look behind words, meanings. They won't go to the Hebrew or the Greek. They already have a preconceived notion.

They already have a particular doctrine in their head. And they don't want to look any further. They don't want to peel back the veil and see what they believe.

is so. We have to study to show ourselves approved, but not everyone is willing to do that. So yes, there are some troubling scriptures out there, but nothing that the Holy Spirit in a little study can't cure and clear up for you.

So Genesis 22, read verse 18. Genesis 22, verse 18, and then we'll go to Genesis 12. Right now, Genesis 22, verse... 18 go ahead and then I see shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because God has obeyed my voice that's why simply because of obedience Abraham all the nations of the earth be blessed okay go to Genesis 12 see what else is gonna happen just as 12 I just need one verse go to Genesis chapter 12 get to Genesis chapter 12 Okay, give me the first three verses. Genesis 12 and your first three verses.

Go ahead. It said, What else? What else?

and cursed him that cursed thee. What else? And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken once before. Okay, alright, no problem.

So we got that. Alright, so go back to Acts chapter 4. Let's look at something else. Let's go back to Acts chapter 4. Okay, let's see what else okay, so Acts chapter 4 son. I would like you to pick it up at verse 25 Acts chapter 4 verse 25 Okay, who by the mouth of thy servant David has said me why did the Even rage and the people in that imagine vain feet. She kings of the earth stood up The rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against his Christ.

What does Christ mean? Anointed, right? Now watch this, okay? Christ means anointed.

Watch this. Go to Psalm 2. Psalm chapter 2. And we'll go back to Acts in a minute. Psalm chapter 2. and we get to Psalm chapter 2 son give me the first two verses so I'm chapter two first two verses where is that why do the heathen rage the people imagine a big thing mm-hmm the Lord's the Lord's the kings of the earth set themselves and the Romans take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed saying okay just stop right there okay yeah against his anointed so when it says over you know in Acts 4 it says you know against the Lord and against his Christ two people all right but so right there so what i'm saying is that when they when they reference max four when they are referencing the old again they just said anointed christ means the same thing so why do they take crafty counter why do they uh think of schemes to go against god and his anointed again referencing the old so they didn't come with some alien strange mysterious doctrine. Now of course Tanakh only, you know, brothers and sisters will, you know, point out some scriptures to you and say, okay, well this doesn't make sense and this doesn't fit a messiah and this doesn't, the fitness and all that other stuff.

Completely misunderstanding scripture. That's not really what this is about. We're just showing the harmony, okay?

We can deal with other difficult scriptures in a different lesson. Right now we're going to look at the harmony, okay? So Go to Acts chapter 7. Okay.

Again, I'm just showing you this reference is over and over and over and over. And this is how they got believers. They got believers not because they had something new. They got believers because they were looking at the fulfillment of something old.

Amen. All right. Acts 7. Acts chapter 7. And when you get to Acts chapter 7. Start at verse 6, Acts chapter 7, verse 6. And God spake on this wise, that his seed should sojourn in this strange land, and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil for a hundred years.

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God. And after... and after that shall they come forth and serve in this place.

Okay, so that's going to happen. Now, we know that happened in Exodus. They served in Egypt. Joseph and the whole line went through the whole line.

Then, of course, you get to Moses and stuff like that. So, you know, they did serve 400 years of captivity in Egypt. We're aware of that.

So that happened, and that was a fulfillment there. Now, of course, there are those who believe that the true Israelites today served 400 years here. in America and the captivities around the world and that they will come forth as well.

OK, so we have to understand what's going on here, the duality. OK, now, again, I admit not everyone believes that. Not everyone sees it.

OK, I get that. All right. But I'm just saying there is a duality there. No one can deny we're still in captivity. OK, and that we need to come out of this place and serve the Messiah.

when he returns. Okay. So we have to at least believe that.

But again, we're going to look at it from Genesis and then we'll get back to Acts in just a second. So go to Genesis 15, Genesis 15, Genesis 15. So we looked at that over in Acts 7 and they spoke of that. going in and being mistreated for 400 years and stuff like that. But we got to look at something a little bit deeper.

Genesis 15, pick it up at verse 13. Pick it up at verse 13. Let's take a look. Go ahead and read. Genesis 15 and 13. Make sure you're 15 and 13. Okay, go ahead. And there came one that had escaped and told Abram of it.

No, no, no, no, no. Look again. Genesis.

15, chapter 15, 13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a journey that thy seed shall be a stranger in the land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall live in four hundred years. And also that nation whom they shall serve will I judge, and after it shall they come out with a great substance. So we know that God did judge Egypt, right?

Okay, so he made good on that promise there, okay? So I just wanted to show where Acts 7 got that from. Okay. Now, I want you to stay in Genesis. Go to Genesis chapter 17. And I'll read Acts 7 and 8. Acts 7 and 8. For those who are taking notes.

Acts 7 and 8, it says, And he gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so Abraham begat Isaac and circumcised him the eighth day. And Isaac begat Jacob.

And Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs. Okay. The father of the tribes.

Okay. Now, Genesis 17, okay, Genesis 17, and read verse 10. Genesis 17 and verse 10. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep between me and you, and thy seed after me. Every man, every man child among you shall be circumcised. Okay, now go to Genesis 21. Go to Genesis chapter 21. Okay, 21, pick it up in verse 3. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bared to him.

Isaac, okay. What else? And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac, being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

Ah, being obedient, that's what we need to do. Okay, how about Genesis chapter 25? Go there. Okay, so we saw Abraham. We saw Isaac, okay?

So now we need Genesis 25 to 26, okay? We just need one verse. 25 and verse 26. Chapter 25, and then go to chapter 25 and go to verse 26. And after that came his brother up, and his hand took hold of him. Esau's heel. Esau's heel.

And his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was 34 years old when she was buried. That's when she gave birth to them. Okay, so now we got a bit of an understanding there. I just wanted to take a look at this.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all born, all circumcised the eighth day. The covenant was given to Abraham. It passed on. It said generation after generation after generation after generation. Okay, so I just wanted to point that out.

everyone now we're gonna do a different book of the Bible we're gonna jump jump around a little bit another Romans okay let's go to Romans 12 okay let's take a look at this a bit Romans 12 we're gonna be in and out of Romans as well we did acts now let's do a little bit of Romans okay Romans 12 give me a verse read verse 9 Read verse 9. Let love be without... Dissimulation....of that which is evil. So hate that which is evil.

Cleave to that which is good. Now stick to that which is good. Stick to that which is good. But in Romans 12, and of course a lot of people love to misquote or misinterpret Paul's writing.

Let's see where he got that from. You stay in Romans. I'll go to Amos 5. for those who are taking notes, Amos 5, okay, and verse 15, okay, Amos 5 and verse 15, it says, hate the evil, love the good, and establish judgment in the gate. It may be that the Lord God our host will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph, okay, so it says in Romans 12 and 9, it says, let love be without dissimulation, abhor or hate that which is evil, cling to that which is good.

Then Amos 5.15 says, hate the evil, love the good, establish judgment at the gate. Very, very, very similar. Okay, very, very similar. Like I said, there's also allusions. But we're still in Romans.

Read Romans 12 and drop down to verse 16, son. Go ahead. Be of the same mind one toward another.

Why not high things? But condescend to men of low esteem. Low estate. Low estate.

but not wise in your own conceit. Okay, don't be wise in your own mind. There's a lot of us running around and we're wise in our own mind. We must be careful. We have to check ourselves and humble ourselves, okay?

Because we don't know everything. We don't have all the answers. We shouldn't look down on other people.

We shouldn't use the word as some sort of weapon to beat over someone's head, okay? I'm sure you guys have YouTubed and and see people arguing, bickering back and forth over the word. Oh, Scripture says this.

Oh, Scripture says that. Okay. Oh, it's going to be one-third.

You're going to die. You're going to the lake of fire. All this hate and back and forth. And so sure that they're going to make it.

So positive that they're going to make it. They don't worry about a thing. But we all need to fear lest we be cut off, right?

You never know. We have to be striving every single day to walk in his paths and his judgments. And it's not our call to cut someone off. Now, someone can cut themselves off. And I'm not saying that we cannot rebuke someone.

I can't. I'm not going to say we cannot. reason with someone, I'm not going to say that. Of course we can't.

That we can't give correction and instruction or strong review. You can. But is that what you're seeing every time you click on a video?

Is that what we're seeing here? Are we trying to come to an understanding or are we debating just to be right? See, some out there are debating for truth, and some people are debating to simply be right and to win the debate.

Some people just simply want to win the debate because they're more skilled at debating. Doesn't necessarily mean that they have the truth. Doesn't necessarily mean that they were speaking or representing what the Bible actually says. they're just well versed in their doctrine but this is about the truth so now oh we're still we're still in romans but let me go on over to isaiah 5 verse 21 says this isaiah 5 and verse 21 says this woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes okay and romans 2 16 says be of the same mind one toward another mind not high things but condescend to men of law say be not wise in your own conceits and Isaiah 5 and 21 Isaiah 5 and 21 says go unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prove it in their own sight because you think you know it all you got it all you got all the answers you know they don't know oh everybody else is asleep you are awake Yay! And you celebrate.

Sure, it's a good thing to do the weight, not to sleepwalk through life, through the rest of your life, to understand true Israel. To be blessed to have the understanding of what the scripture is trying to tell us. But how's our heart? How's your humility in that walk?

Time for self-check, critical analysis. That's what time it is. Not wise in our own seats. Proverbs 3 and 7. Proverbs 3 and 7 says, Be not wise in thy own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Go to Romans 12, son. You're still in Romans 12. Start at verse 19. 19. Go ahead. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto God.

For it is written, vengeance is mine. I will repay, save the Lord. Go ahead. Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, feed them.

If he thirsts, give him drink. In so doing, thou shalt keep coals of fire on his head. Okay. So, all right, all right.

So let's look at that. Let's look at something. Deuteronomy 32. Stay there.

Stay in Romans. I'll go to Deuteronomy 32 for you. I'm going to read one verse.

Verse 35. Deuteronomy 32, verse 5. To me, the longest vengeance and recompense. Therefore, shall slide in due time. But a day of their calamity is at hand and the things that shall come upon them may haste.

Again, we're talking about multiple topics, but we're still finding harmony in the scriptures. So, again, if we look at this, the Lord say vengeance is his. So don't spend all your time plotting vengeance or revenge. Now, no, I'm not preaching some passivity that you can't protect your own.

You can't protect your family. You can't protect yourself. You can't rebuke someone because to everything there's a season, right? But it's the wise who knows the difference. It's those who are wise who know the difference when it is time to fight and when it is time to turn the other cheek.

To everything there's a season. But it takes wisdom to know the difference. Proverbs 25 and 21 says this. Proverbs 25 and 21. It says, if thy enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat. And if he be thirsty, give him water to drink.

For thou shall he coals the fire upon his head and the Lord shall reward thee. Oh, so the New Testament didn't come with a new doctrine. It didn't come with that new turn the other cheek.

I'm reading it out of Proverbs and Deuteronomy. So when I'm reading it out of Tanakh, it says, don't always take vengeance. Because I know some people, they go, they say, oh, you know, the Christians, they come with this new doctrine, this turn the other cheek and, you know, and love thy enemy and all that.

Kind of says that in the Old Testament, too. Because you can read the Old Testament where the Lord said, OK, destroy your enemy. Go kill them all. Wipe them out.

Right. But you can also read where it says. to me belong his vengeance in Deuteronomy 32 to me belong his vengeance and recompense their foot shall slide in due season in due time for the day of their calamity is at hand and the things that shall come upon them may haste it's coming their day of judgment is coming so even you even if you don't get your hands on them they're not getting away right it's called getting by not getting away That's about it.

Because some people, they get so consumed with this vengeance. This person did me wrong. That person did me wrong.

I need to get them back. Not all the time. Not always. Who's with me when I say, if God pays them back, he's going to get them better than you can. Oh, yes, he will.

Okay. So don't be consumed with that. Now, we're in Romans. Go to Romans 13. Romans 13. You're in 13, son? Start at verse 8. Romans 13, verse 8, okay?

Now, this part, obviously, a lot of those who think that we're under new, everything's different, okay? We don't have to do anything. Just believe. Sprinkle a little Jesus on it, and everything will be all better, you know? they use it like pixie dust just sprinkle some jesus on it and everything will be okay no accountability no responsibility no nothing okay but let's read romans 13 let's pick it up at verse eight i want i want to see something real quick romans 13 verse eight go ahead nice and loud something nice and loud go ahead oh start over again verse eight oh no man want anything yep but to love one another for he that loveth another has fruit Fulfill the law.

See that's where they stop normally. They stop right there. They say see let's just love one another That's all it takes. That's all we got to do. That's it.

They don't bother just reading the very next line. Go ahead For this thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet. And if there be any other commandment, it is briefly Comprehended in this scene. Me mean that I love thy neighbor as they so now notice what it says if there be any other commandment Are there some other commandments in the Old Testament? Yeah, if there be any other commandment is briefly summarized in a saying called Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself now some people what they want to do they want to overwhelm.

Oh, well 613 laws. Okay, Tom Moody type of uh Teaching divisions of the law stuff like that, but if there be any other commandment They won't tell you that a lot of such Christians. They want don't want to address that If there be any other commandment, and there is, it's briefly summed up in love thy neighbor thyself.

So why do I say that? Why am I pointing that out? Because if we look at all the laws, it either has something to do with loving God or loving your neighbor.

You go in the Old Testament and it says don't move the fence post from your land and encroach on your neighbor's land. That's for your neighbor. Right. Don't try to steal extra land for you. By moving the property line.

That's for your neighbor. Don't covet your neighbor's wife and his oxen and all his stuff. That's for your neighbor, right?

It's either you're doing it for God or you're doing it for your neighbor. And it also includes yourself. There's things you have to do for yourself. But it's for your neighbor.

It's for your children. agricultural laws for you and your neighbor sacrificial laws for you and god dietary law for you and god he wants you to be clean the holy days you neighbor god because you know assemble together Has something to do. When Christ came and he briefly summarized it, love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and then love your neighbor as yourself, he just summarized all that.

The laws for the Levites. Why? They were trying to help us, right? When they had to do their job, they're doing it for us and themselves, right?

To serve God. All connected. Same thing. They keep trying to make it something different, something alien. If there be any other commandment, okay?

So we're going to go to Deuteronomy 5. Let me see. Where are you? Where exactly did Paul get that from?

That's interesting. Where did Paul get that from? Let's go to Deuteronomy 5 and pick it up at verse... Paul, you know, he's in Romans 13, verse 9, for this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet, be any other commandment is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Interesting. Deuteronomy 5, pick it up at verse 16. Honor thy father and thy mother as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee, that thy days may be poor and that it may go well with thee. In the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. But Paul, he didn't say in Romans 13, he didn't say honor thy mother and father. So we don't have to do that anymore? Try to be slick.

See, they're trying to be slick. Okay? And I'm talking about just Sunday worshipers.

They try to be slick when they want to do away with the law. Because they say, well, the New Testament doesn't repeat. Well, there's a lot that the New Testament doesn't repeat. Doesn't mean it doesn't apply.

Doesn't mean it doesn't apply. So that's what we have to understand. Oh, well, it doesn't say honor thy mother and thy father, but... It still says, he's drawn from somewhere. But when you go to verse 17, go ahead, son.

What else you got to do? Neither shall I kill. Uh-huh. Neither shall I commit adultery.

Neither shall I steal. Neither shall I bear false witness against my neighbor. Now, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Does that sound familiar, something you already read? It does sound familiar, doesn't it? Does it sound familiar?

It does sound familiar. Okay. Now. You said in verse 20, you said, neither shall thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.

What about 21? Neither shall thou desire thy neighbor's wife, neither shall thou covet thy neighbor's house, or his spirit, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is thy neighbor's. It doesn't belong to you. Don't covet it. It doesn't belong to you.

You know why? Because you start coveting, you start plotting and scheming. Oh, I wish they had that. Or today we say, hey.

You know, you start hating on the other person and you want, you know, not only, see, what makes it bad is you mad because you don't have it, but at the same time, you mad, you don't even want them to have it. And hey, you hate the fact they have it, you hate the fact you don't have it. And some people go a step further and they start plotting and scheming to cause you to lose it or steal it from you or kill you for it. See how bad it can get?

I lived in neighborhoods where somebody would have a nice car. Guess what the have-nots do? They key it, they destroy it, they punch holes in their tires and stuff like that just because they're mad because you have it, they don't. That's not fair. But it happens.

Crab's in a bucket. If I'm poor, you need to be poor. If I don't have a new car, you don't need a new car. Don't come around here flashing your new car to me.

Y'all should not covet. Leviticus 19 and 18, because he said it's briefly summed up in this saying, namely. So go to Leviticus 19 and 18. Leviticus 19 and 18. Leviticus 19 and 18. Thou shalt not avenge nor bear any... any grudge against the children of thy people. The vassal of thy neighbor as thyself.

I am the Lord. Ah, okay. So there is some forgiveness, you know, don't avenge, you know, stuff like that. So that, I mean, that's Old Testament too. So you can't just say, oh, well, you know, the New Testament is completely brand new doctrine.

You don't have to do, you know, no, no. It doesn't work that way. Okay?

Let's look at 2 Corinthians chapter 6. We're going to go to 2 Corinthians chapter 6. So we're pointing out harmony in the Scripture. Pointing out some harmony in the Scripture. So 2 Corinthians. And I want to go to chapter 6. And the verse we're going to start with, son, is 16. 2 Corinthians 6, 16. And what agreement hath the temple of God with I, for ye are the temple of the living God?

As God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be in ye separate. Say, Lord, and touch not the unclean. and I will receive you and will be a father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Amen and amen and amen.

Now, I'm going to take a look over here at Leviticus 26 and 11. Okay? Leviticus 26 and 11. Let's take a look at this. And it says here, And I set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you and I will be your God and you shall be my people. Sounds a little familiar, right?

This is what I'm talking about. Okay. And you shall be my people.

All right. Now, I want you to go to Jeremiah 31. Okay. While I go to, and that was Leviticus 26, 11 and 12. Now I'm going to go to Isaiah 52 and 11. And son, you go over to Jeremiah 31. Isaiah 52 and 11 says this. Depart ye.

the party going out from this touch no unclean thing going out of the midst of earth be clean that bear the vessels of the Lord for you shall not go out with haste nor go by flight so the Lord will go before you and the Lord God and the God of Israel will be your reward okay that was a 52 now Jeremiah 31 give me verse 9 Jeremiah 31 in the first 9 They shall come with weeping and with supplication. Will I lead them? I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Okay, now go to 2 Samuel. Okay, so we have that, so go to 2 Samuel 7. So we saw over in 2 Corinthians where it's talking about, I'll be a father unto them, and you'll be my sons and daughters, says the Lord. And then we see where it says when God will be their reward.

And then, of course, in Jeremiah 31, it says, For I am the father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. We know that parallel language that the Bible often uses. Ephraim, Israel, Jacob, all the same.

All the same. Okay, so 2 Samuel chapter 7. 2 Samuel chapter 7. okay reverse 14 for me i will be this father his father and he shall be my son if he commit iniquity i would i would chase him chase him chase him with the rod of men yes and with the stripes of the children of men okay so all right so we have an idea now that's the same thing the father does with us we mess up he will chase in us and he said do it with the rock men so other men make punishments he may use them as a tool like the gentiles is like the belt unto israel that the father chose to use right but we signed up for it all thou has said we will do and they didn't so he said i'm going to bring this belt on you and i'm it may be the rod i mean i'll be a father to you be with the rod of men that happened okay that happened go to galatians 3 we're going to deal with a little bit of book of galatians 2. okay okay we're going to deal with a little bit of that go to galatians chapter 3. okay okay Galatians chapter 3. You're almost there, keep going. Chapter 3. There's a New Testament there.

Pull it in there. There you go. Galatians chapter 3. Got it? And we're back! Galatians chapter 3. That's okay.

We're going to go. That's all right, son. Galatians chapter 3. Go to verse 10. Go to verse 10. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse, for it is written, Cursed is everyone that continueth not in all living, and all living things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Oh, curse, curse. is everyone that continue with not so you curse if you don't do the law because soon as you start saying well yeah you know man it seems like we need to keep the law because man when we don't the Lord is angry you get people today and they're just like no no we gotta do that we gotta do that it's about faith it's about faith you know all we have to do is just have faith and that's it you know that law that's a curse is that what it said it said the law was a curse or is it said if you continue not the law it is cursed curses everyone that continue it not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them that's what your Bible says right okay that's what it says now listen over to do around the 27th they write in Galatians because we're gonna stay right back in this father Deuteronomy 27 which is where it came from 27 26 is a curse it be he that confirm it not all the words of this law to do them all the people shall say Amen okay so if you don't do it then you're cursed if you don't do it then you are cursed go to Galatians just read the next verse okay chapter 3 verse 11 read verse 11 what does that say it is evident for they just shall live by faith oh they just shall live by faith see that's brand new see see Old Testament don't talk about people living by faith and all that other stuff Right? Or wrong?

How about, what if I read Habakkuk chapter 2? Because it's faithful, it's supposed to be New Testament, it's supposed to be all brand new, right? Now, the last time you guys checked, and you can check behind me, Habakkuk is Old Testament, right?

You positive? I want you to be sure, okay? Habakkuk 2 and 4, it says, Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him but the just shall live by his faith so it was always about faith right i mean when the lord says i'm gonna bring you onto a land full of milk and honey you haven't been there before you don't know that but you have to have faith in order to move your feet and go right and it means if you're doing it it means you believe him unless of course you want 40 years a little bit because you're doubting and murmuring and backbiting and complaining and all that stuff. But if you believe, if you're like Joshua and Caleb. You know they had that spirit of Gimli on this I was taking you know with the John to the land You know there's no big deal.

We can take them is it because they have faith So it was always about faith not a new testament thing right was always about faith Oh woman is barren pray to God open up my womb. I have a baby she believed So don't let someone tell you that it's all brand new. In fact, it's just that the just shall live by faith.

So Galatians, he pulled it from somewhere. He didn't even have this new doctrine about this new faith. If we go back to Romans in 331, do we make void the law because of faith? God forbid. We establish the law, right?

So this faith thing doesn't take over anything, but your faith should increase. That's what your faith should do. It should increase. So don't let it trip you up when they say, okay, well, you know, but that Galatians 3 and 11, oh, but that no man is justified by the law and the sight of God. It is evident for the just shall live by faith.

First of all, I'm going to deal with the first part because I already did the just shall live by faith. That's that one. Oh yeah, it's in my back. But some people say, yeah, but no man is justified by the law on the side of God.

He's talking about we got to keep the law and nobody's justified. Okay, if you stood before our maker, stood before our Lord, our judge, we know that Christ is going to be the one who's judging. Okay, if you go to Jesus Christ or Yeshua HaMashiach, because, you know, sometimes people get particular over names. So if you stood before them in judgment and they stood you right next to your law keeping. You cannot be justified because you broke them.

So you and you alone cannot be justified by your deeds in the law. But there is a justifier. There is one who justifies.

So the question is, who do you have your salvation in? That's the question. You know, Psalms 2, around verse 12 or something like that, you know, kiss the son unless he be angry.

Blessed are those who have their refuge or their trust or their faith in him. There's a particular Messiah who just cleared your debt, the sin debt. You know, the wages of sin is debt.

So someone cleared that for you with his blood. He cleared that for you. So he justified you.

Or John would put it, we have an advocate with the Father. Are we starting to understand? Right? So, yeah. Yeah.

But that no man is justified by the... law in the sight of God, but it is evident for the just of them by faith. Okay, so we know where he got that from.

So go to verse 12, son. Galatians chapter 3, verse 12. Okay, go to the next verse. Verse 12, read that.

The law is not of faith, but the man that doeth them shall live in it. Yep. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Christ has redeemed us from the law?

Read that again. What did it say? Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law. From the curse of the law, but the wages of sin is what? So he redeemed us from death.

He didn't redeem you from the law because the law is holy and just and good. Why would you need to be redeemed from something like that? The law is light. The law is truth. It's holy.

It's just. It's good. It's a lamp. What do you need to be redeemed from?

You might need to be redeemed from breaking it. Would you agree with that? Absolutely.

You might need to be redeemed from that. So he said Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Continue. Being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree.

Okay, now, are you going to believe someone and they walk up to you and be like, oh yeah, but you can't do that law because that law is a curse. Is that statement correct? No, no, no, no.

The law isn't a curse. Law is not a curse. Have them read that again.

As a matter of fact, when they say it, don't smart off to them. Don't smart off to them. Don't do that. Just kindly ask them, could you show me that in scripture where it says the law is a curse?

That's all you got to do. That's all you got to do. You don't have to argue with people. The law is a curse. Really, I've never heard that before.

Could you show me that in Scripture? So if they go right here. Oh, see, right here.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. I'm sorry. Could you read that again? Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Yeah, but you just said the law was a curse. And he said that he redeems from the... Curse of the law, not the law.

That's completely different now. It's interesting. You ate a little too much steak, get a little heartburn, a little indigestion or whatever, you know, feeling kind of get a little rumblies in your tumblies or whatever. You take a little Pepto, did it relieve you from that steak or the symptoms of that heartburn and upset stomach?

You still ate that steak, right? Okay, so, curses are in the hand from the tree. Leviticus 18 and 8, okay?

Watch this. We go to Ephesians. Leviticus 18 and 8. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, which if a man do, he shall live in them. I am the Lord. Okay?

Also. they said curses every man hanging from tree do you want me 21 and 23 his body shall not remain all night upon the tree but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day for he that is hanged is cursed of god that thy land be not defiled which the lord thy god giveth thee for an inheritance okay so you hang someone you can't leave them up there they have to be buried that same day why did that person Why did that, forget the guy's name, but why did he go, he went to Pilate and said, hey, you know, let me take down Jesus'body or whatever. He can't sit, because he was talking about Deuteronomy right there, right?

He was talking about that, so we got to bring him down. So we already know of Ephesians. Oh, what? Ephesians, we were looking at Romans earlier, and it didn't say honor thy mother and everything, but Ephesians 6 and 2. Go to Ephesians 6, chapter 6, okay, and read verse 2 and 3. Go ahead. Honor thy father and mother, which is the first commandment, with promise.

Go ahead. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Okay, so we got that going. We know in Exodus 20 and 12, you know, it talks about honor thy mother and thy father. Okay?

Now, I was just saying earlier in the lesson, we were talking about in Romans 13, where Paul didn't say, okay, honor thy mother and father. He didn't say it right there, but he did say it right here in Ephesians. Okay? Let me just go ahead and warn you, especially those Messianic beliefs, especially those who are just waking up, those who are just starting to realize, hey, you know what? I've been lied to.

I have inherited lies, okay? And the scales finally come off your eyes and you understand, wait a minute, I don't have to just adhere to one side of the Bible, okay? I don't have to stay, you know, to the right of Matthews the whole time. I can go to the left sometime and read some of the other ones and it...

harmonizes and it goes together and it speaks and it gives me the larger picture okay so when you get the larger picture let me just go ahead and say there's a whole would this not repeated that's not repeated every single word is not repeated in the New Testament if it indeed repeated every word of the Old Testament you wouldn't really need a New Testament all you need is just the old okay but it's the testimony of the old It's testifying of the old. So, Brother Robert, why do you keep going back to the old testament? You read some New Testament, go right back to the old?

Exactly. Because we want to get harmony. Because I want you to see that the New Testament simply testifies of the old.

And somehow it trips people up. It confuses people for some reason. And then you say, oh, well, yeah, it doesn't really. Yeah, yeah. It does not do away with the Tanakh.

It doesn't. We already know Exodus 20 and 12. It says, Honor thy father and thy mother that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. So we already understand that.

Deuteronomy 5 and 16 says the same thing. It says, Honor thy father and thy mother as the Lord thy God commanded thee. that our days be may be prolonged and that it may go well with thee in the land which the lord given thee so go to hebrews chapter one son Hebrews chapter 1. Okay?

Let's move on. Let's continue. Hebrews chapter 1. Pick it up at verse 8 if you don't mind. But unto the Son he said, Thy throne O God is forever and ever a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. Okay.

What else? Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Therefore God, even thy God hath hath anoint thee with the oil of gladness above thy toes.

Oh, this is a special somebody when we look at that. He said, but unto the Son, he said, oh, the Father said unto the Son. But unto the Son, he said, thy throne, O God.

Wait, whoa, whoa. The Father is referring to the Son as a God? Is that what we're hearing right here? Is that what we're getting right here?

The Father referring to the Son as a God. They said, O God is forever and ever a scepter of. righteousness is a scepter of thy kingdom that has loved righteousness and hated iniquity does christ love righteousness and hate iniquity he saw iniquity he kind of got a little upset didn't he okay therefore god capital g again therefore god even thy god wow look at that has anointed thee with all the gladness above thy fellows indeed he did but Where'd that come from?

So I'm reading in Psalms 45, verse 6 says this. Psalms 45 and verse 6 for those who are taking notes. Psalms 45, verse 6 says that thy throne, O God, is forever and ever.

The scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Okay? Thou lovest righteousness and hated wickedness.

Therefore, God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy felons. Sounds familiar, didn't it? Okay, so go to verse 10, son. Hebrews 1, verse 10. Go ahead.

And thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thine hands. They shall perish, but thou remainest, and they all shall wax old as doth the garment. Like clothes, yeah, as doth the garment. Uh-huh, go ahead.

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed, but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. Yes, I mean, it's easy. He's an eternal, he's an immortal. But where did that come from?

Harmony in the scriptures, Psalm 102. Psalm 102 and 25. Of old hast thou laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hand. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure. Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment, as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.

Sounds like a resurrection, sounds like some kind of, okay. Okay, got it, got it. I mean, I just want to make sure you guys are getting it. Okay?

As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. Jesus Christ is saying yesterday, today, and forever, right? You know, I am God, I change not.

Okay, okay. So it goes together, right? Harmony, harmony in the scriptures. Okay.

Go to verse 13, son. Hebrews 1 and 13. What does that say? But to which of the angels said he, at any time.

Sit on my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Where do you get that from? We know that's Psalms 110. So I'm going to just go right there and save the suspense. It says Psalms 110 and 1, the Lord said unto my Lord, two Lords, capital L. The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until I make thy enemies thy footstool.

Okay? We're just getting a messianic understanding. That's it.

Harmony in the scriptures go to Hebrews chapter 2 son your Hebrews go to chapter 2 Okay, and when you get there once you do me a favor and start reading verse 6 verse 6 go ahead But when any certain please testify saying what is meant that the art might That the art might might for a people or the son of man that though That is a little lower than the angels. Thou crownest him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. Gave him all rulership.

Go ahead. For in that he put all in subjection under him. What else?

He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. Everything has not come to a full consummation.

Everything's not in full, but it will be. all judgment everything all the rules will be placed under him the Messiah the returning King okay all that will be placed under him but let's look at Psalms hey you guys stay in Hebrews I'll be songs eight for you in verse four he said what is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that thou visit him for thou has made him a little order the angels and has crowned him with glory and honor okay gave him power okay in dominion and rulership. Thou made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands.

Thou hast put all things under his feet. Okay? So, again, harmony, more harmony in the scriptures. Okay?

Now, Hebrews 3. Okay? Hebrews 3, chapter 3. You read chapter 3, son? Okay, go to chapter 3 and read verse 7. Hebrews chapter 3, verse 7. Go ahead.

as the Holy Ghost saith to today if ye will hear his voice harden not your hearts as in the provocation in the day of temptation and the wilderness when your father's tempted me prove prove me and I saw my words forty years wherefore I was grieved with that generation and said they do always fear in their heart their heart and they have not known my ways. So I swear in my wrath they shall not enter into my rest. Okay, shall not enter in my rest. But let's take a look at that in Psalms 95. Okay, Psalm 95. Verse 7 says this, Psalm 95 in verse 7 says this, For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.

Today, if ye will hear his voice. harden not your heart and as in the day of provocation as in the day of temptation in the wilderness when your fathers tempted me prove me and saw my work forty years long was i agreed with this generation and said it is the people that do err in their heart and they have not known my ways unto whom i swear my wrath that they should not enter into my rest okay they were always referencing that really no new doctrine So whether it was in word or in letter, they stay close to description, which was the foundation of everything they spoke about and talked about, which is the same way we should be. The exact same way.

Go to Hebrews 10, son. Hebrews 10. Hebrews 10. Okay. Go to verse 5. We're going to read 5 through 7. Go ahead.

Wherefore, when he comes into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldst not, but a body hast thou prepared me. And burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said, I lo, I come in the volume of the book that is written of me, to do thy will, O God.

Okay, so let's look at something. Let's look at something else over here in Psalms, okay? Now, Psalms 40, okay?

Psalms 40 says in verse 6, okay? 40 in verse 6, it says, Sacrifices and offerings thou didst not desire, my ears hast not opened. Now, that may pose a problem to some people, but not if you go into the Septuagint, which is what the first century believers believed, the apostles, what they used, okay, as their Bible.

Septuagint. 70 Israelites translated the Old Testament unto the Greek. Okay? Because when they were under Greek and Roman occupation, they spoke that language.

So they converted it. So in the Septuagint, in your Psalms, which is what it's referencing, it does in fact indeed say, Sacrifice and offerings thou wouldest not, but a body thou hast prepared for me. That is there. Okay? It said, Burn offerings and sin offerings has...

thou not require okay so never really wanted it okay never really wanted that because it meant you messed up oh why why did he set up sacrifices you know and he didn't really even want it because it's either that or kill you he's giving you a chance that's it it was either that or kill you that's why he set it up okay so it says and then Then said I, lo, I come in the volume of the book where it's written of me. I delight to do thy will. O my God, yea, thy law is written in my heart. Psalm 40, 16, 8. Okay, we're going to finish up. We're going to get a few more verses, and then we'll finish up.

Okay, Hebrews 10, read verse 16. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days. Say to the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them. And their sins and iniquities will I remember to no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Okay, so, sacrifice and offering is not what it is not. So at some point, that stuff is going to have to stop, be suspended for a little while. That day is, well actually that day has come because we don't sacrifice anymore. The biblical priesthood is not here, we're under the Melchizedek order.

Amen, right? Levitical priesthood is not here. Now obviously when the Levitical priesthood is set back up in the future, which is another lesson, then there'll be some sacrifices. You're probably wondering why. You need to check out that lesson.

But he said, this is the covenant that I will make with them. After those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I write them. And of course, we get that from Jeremiah 31. Now I'll pick it up in verse 33. Jeremiah 31, 33 says this. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, said the Lord. I will put my law in their inner hearts, and I will write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Okay? So I will put my law. They say I will be away with my law. I'm going to suspend it.

I'm going to lay it down. You ain't going to worry about it. Just have faith or anything like that.

He just put the law in a different place. It was written on tablets of stone, right? As far as that part. But now he says, you know, I'm going to put it in your inward parts. I mean, you need to remember.

You remember the movie Book of Eli? He had it written on his heart. He had it on his inward parts.

That's what we're supposed to be. That's what he's talking about. Not doing away. See, the book was taken away from Eli, right? But he had it on the inside, right?

34, and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they shall all know me. For from the least unto them to the grace of them, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. So there's some forgiveness right there, too. That's Old Testament.

That's Jeremiah. So there's a forgiveness right there. But we have to understand.

I just wanted to point out some harmony in the scripture. We don't have to go any further. I hope the point has been made. What I like to do is I like to edify all the brothers and sisters out there, all you children of James and the stranger. Be not deceived by those who want to preach to you easy believism, that there's no responsibility, there's no accountability.

You don't have to do anything. No, no, no. This is not a law lesson. We got plenty of those. But I want you to beware of deception.

I want you to beware of those who are mishandling the word, mishandling the truth and trying to give you some other doctrine that the Bible speaks of. Give you some other messiah that the Bible speaks of. Give you a completely foreign dispensation that plenty of talking heads speak of. I want you to study to show yourself a proof that the Bible speaks of.

And my objective today was for you to understand that there's not this huge conflict in the Bible, that indeed there is harmony. There is some harmony, which is why we went back and forth and back and forth, and I could do this all day. But I want you to be rest assured and understand that, you know what?

Hey, our Bible does agree. There are some spots there. I may need to study a little bit more on. I may need to look into a little bit more.

But I know by and large, it agrees. So don't fear those who are. fast talkers and slick and can quote some scriptures, you know, have broke memory of certain verses and stuff. Don't be intimidated by that. Don't be intimidated by someone who's going to try to present to you some perceived contradictions.

It could be a problem in their understanding. Don't fear that. Someone come to you and give you pause with the scriptures and may point out an apparent contradiction or a problem or an issue. Don't get intimidated. Go study.

And with that, I hope you've been edified with this lesson. This has been our first live stream with the founder of Israel. The title of today's lesson is To the Law and to the Testimony.

So until next time, my friends, I appreciate you guys joining us on this live stream. Search the scriptures. improve all things.
