[Music] [Music] [Music] when it comes to conspiracy theories it's almost as if we don't want them to get solved or at least fully solved because when we finally do get the truth that that's it all the fun and speculation stops part of the appeal is thinking that it could be true but not knowing for sure and when we get the answer all the magic goes away well I hate to break it to you guys but it looks like we have to say goodbye to one conspiracy theory that has been pretty popular in NBA circles for years now because I have what I believe to be definitive proof putting this to rest once and for all when it comes to identical twins it's not surprising that sometimes they use it to their advantage whether it's to freak people out in a harmless prank or choose to act ated for more Sinister reasons a deadly auto crash left two children dead when the car hit a horse and buggy they were in cops say a woman confessed to being behind the wheel but they say she wasn't the driver they say she switched places with her identical twin did these twin sisters pull a twisted Switcheroo to cover up a fatal car crash this is Samantha the alleged driver of the vehicle and this is her sister Sarah cops say Sarah went along with the scheme and switched places telling her twin at the crash scene there's no way they would ever know the difference between the two of us now obviously what the Morris twins are being accused of definitely isn't as bad as that but if it were to ever come out that they are guilty it's very likely that they would be banned from the NBA it was game one of the 2017 Eastern Conference semi-finals between the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics Marie Morris who was on the Wizards suffered a nasty ankle injury during the second quarter writhing in pain while he was on the ground he would sit out for the remainder of that game and it was expected that he was probably going to be out for game two as well given that game two was only 48 hours from then but when we saw that markee was perfectly fine just 2 days later as if nothing even happened of course people became suspicious given the fact that he does have an identical twin brother you see his brother Marcus was on the Pistons at the time who obviously didn't make the playoffs that year meaning that he theoretically could have switched places and filled in for his injured brother without anybody even noticing I have a brilliant Beyond brilliant idea I think we should switch places but when he came out on fire to start that Game knocking down his first four shots it caused many fans to question is he just a fast healer or was it even Mark Keef that we were watching Marcus would constantly show up during that postseason to support his brother even wearing markee's Jersey but was mysteriously absent that night for game two plus think about it it would have been too risky for Marie to pretend to be Marcus in the stand because if people would have seen him limping in street clothes it would have been another Telltale sign that they switched places some twins don't like the constant comparisons that's probably why the Lopez brothers have different hairstyles but it seems like the Morris twins embraced it and went out of their way to look exactly the same with nearly identical tattoos and similar facial hair on top of the fact that they are very similar in size and even sound alike marus Mars Mars University of Kansas and it's been said that they even share a bank account together they both went to the University of Kansas and were drafted only one pick apart from each other in 2011 then just 2 years later they became teammates once again in Phoenix and it was then in 2013 when they first admitted to switching places before and would go on to share even more stories L League football he took he weighed in for me one time yeah so we could play on the same team so we could play on the same team sweaty trash bag off and I had to put the sweaty trash bag on and act like I was running around and doing all this crazy stuff and went into the building and act like him and nobody could tell the difference not even a little bit not even a little bit did y used to switch classes that was 20 years ago yeah hell yeah y' used to switch classes on boys high school we all the same class it's just something to do just something to do man we had to like see if y'all get away with it yeah man we got away with all that so as you can see they've always had an incentive to look exactly alike their entire lives and could very well get away with it in the NBA if they want just ask Paul George also is it weird to play with a twin now that you play together twin it was weird at first uh cuz I would call him Keef and uh you know it actually took a good week uh it's crazy you know what's up Markus nice to meet you then instantly after that hey Keith it's going to take a second again with the Pistons done for the season meaning that Marcus clearly had time on his hands and with markee apparently hurt it was The Perfect Storm for them to take advantage of their powers but Mar Keefe thought it was extremely disrespectful and insulting to even think that they would do that at the NBA level they did say we switched teams like NBA team they said we switched NBA teams like like 5 years ago that be crazy they said in the playoffs yeah funny yeah they put a whole story out that ain't true I mean I get what he's saying but how you going to come out and admit to doing it before literally on that same podcast 30 seconds earlier I get away with yeah man we got away with all and expect to change the minds of the people who already are suspicious of you it would be one thing if they never did it in the past but since they have a history of doing stuff like this it's kind of difficult to believe them when they deny it there's just too much incriminating evidence against them when I first started researching for this video I fully anticipated that I was going to end up proving that they did in fact switch places in the 2017 NBA playoffs but instead I ended up proving the opposite all my investigative work did was confirm that they didn't you see at first I tried to study each of their jump shots to maybe see if there's a difference so I can expose them that way but I quickly came to the conclusion that their shooting forms are just too similar so I directed my attention towards their tattoos everyone just casually says that they have the exact same tattoos without actually putting in the work to find out for sure I mean come on there has to be some differences there's just no way that it's an exact match and guess what after a good hard look I believe I found a slight difference and luckily it's in a place that's easily visible even with their jerseys on I began looking at the moment that kicked this whole thing off with what we know for sure is obviously markee on the ground After Rolling his ankle I want you to take a look at this area right here on his left shoulder and really sear this in your brain and take a mental note that this is Marie now that that's established let's let's compare it to Marcus's left shoulder as you can see the same area beneath the S has something a little skinnier and thinner there so keep that in mind that this one belongs to Marcus next I tried finding some footage of them together so I don't have to keep going back and forth looking at pictures and this Phoenix Sun's press conference from 2014 really gave me a clear view of both of their shoulders at the same time confirming even more that there's no doubt that there's a difference here with this picture providing an even clearer view of them next to each other and what we need to see okay so remember how it was Al Horford who undercut his shot attempt causing the injury well what transpired right before tip off for game two just two nights later is how I know for sure that it was Marie who played in that game not his brother Marcus therefore confirming that there wasn't any switching going on right as the game was about to begin Marie decided to confront Horford about what he did the previous game well Greg there was hostility before the game there was hostility during the regular season but this is before tip Mar Morris told the media that I'm going to go directly to Al Horford and ask him was that intentional the other day that's the conversation they had at first I thought wouldn't that be cool if that was actually Marcus who confronted Horford standing up for his brother while pretending to be him at the same time that's seriously what I thought that is until I saw his left shoulder immediately realizing that no it actually was the rightful person who was supposed to be there marke so if he had never confronted Horford before the game we would have never had this angle to compare the left shoulder and ultimately confirm that it was in fact marke all along as we wouldn't have been able to tell just from the highlights so they should have nothing to worry about going forward as I believe I just Prov their innocence I kind of feel bad for ever doubting them but at the same time they can't really blame us at all
