hello everyone welcome back to my youtube channel troublefree in today's video we are going to start off with a new playlist that is of machine learning so some of my subscribers asked me to do a series of videos on machine learning but because of some time constraints I could not do at that point of time and I'm starting it now and if you are the person or if you are the students who are having your machine learning in your 3-2 or 4-1 or 4-2 or whatever semester and you're really looking forward for this lectures just let me know that in the comment section so that i can understand how many people can you know i will have some calculations right okay if i do at this point of time these many people will see obviously even i will think like that so just let me know that in the comment section and also if you um know your exam date just let me know that also in the comment section so that i can hurry up making videos right so let's get started now first what is machine learning so this is a very basic thing that you need to know not only for example point of view even in interviews point of view this is this is one of the very very very importantly asked question so uh this video is completely going to be an you know your understanding i'll make you to understand about machine learning and what is the example of machine learning so that you can really understand it more better so first what is machine learning the standard definition is the field of study that gives computers a capability to learn without being explicitly programmed okay you need to remember this word ex without being explicitly programmed very important because if a computer is being explicitly programmed and it is doing a particular task then that's not a big thing right if every computer does that right that is what actually a computer is supposed to do it takes out of instructions and it does some particular task but here in case of machine learning what we what is being done without even ex giving instructions explicitly that means without any instructions from our side it is doing it is performing on its own right that is what machine learning means so field of study that gives computers a capability to learn without being explicitly programmed that means you need not give any explicit instructions for the program to work right and the very very very easiest and the common example of this is online shopping so for example you are visiting amazon site let us see and on amazon you search for something like a watch or something some some dress or some shoes something you have searched on amazon for the first time right so the second time when you open the application or when you open the website on your home page you will be seeing some products which are related to your previous searches right so that is the example of machine learning so whatever you're doing for the first time observing that observing your search observing your choices observing on the things that you're clicking machine will learn something machine will draw a pattern and it's not brain actually but you know in its neural network and so machine will get a pattern and according to that pattern from the second time onwards it will be automatically displaying to you right so for example uh we have taken the example of amazon right so let it be like that you're opening amazon for the first time you open it and the second time you're getting some instructions so the second time when you are when you have opened the application there is nobody in the back uh who is giving you suggestions right because there are some millions of users who use amazon it's not possible that for every each and every user there will be an associate from the side of amazon and that associate will be sending you the suggestions it's not like that right so the machine It says the machine automatically will send you suggestions and that is the concept of machine learning. Okay, so that this is how machine learning is used in our daily life. So this is the very easiest and application of machine learning.
I hope the definition of machine learning is clear to you enough right and so simply you can say the machine will adapt to the user based on the data. So adopt the machine will get adopted to ourself based on the data which we are giving right. so here i have a diagram not diagram something some representations the circles are not exact i don't mind so we are here we have ai ml and dl artificial intelligence machine learning and deep learning so deep learning is a subset of machine learning i have actually written it in the reverse direction don't mind so deep learning is a subset of machine learning and machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence right so if you are going to the field of artificial intelligence you need to know what machine learning is you need to know what deep learning is right so this is all about the introduction to machine learning a very small and a brief introduction i guess simple thing that you need to remember is you will not give any explicit programs you will not give any explicit commands to the computer the computer automatically will perform based on the things what that it has previously learnt okay done so from the past experience is the only other not the only difference the main difference between the normal traditional computers and the machine learning is traditional computers they will work based on the instruction given by you so how if you're doing addition suppose you're doing some addition then if you're doing it for the hundredth time even hundredth time also you should give the command of addition and otherwise the traditional machine will not work but whereas in the case of machine learning it's not like that okay So, this is about the main difference between the machine learning and also the normal traditional computers, traditional programs, not computers, traditional programs. Okay. So, that's all for this video.
