yo what's up my name is Kevin AKA Kev the dev and in this video I want to give you a behind the scenes look at just how much it cost me to create a create and launch legitimate meme coin that Meme coin of course is hod and I think that I wasn't expecting it to cost quite this much so I want to show you exactly what I spent to release this coin so that you can get an idea of what it might cost you now this can wildly vary I'm just showing you what I have invested so far before I go any further of course I've got to say um this is in no way Financial advice I am not a financial adviser I am simply playing in the crypto space much like you are so trade invest at your own risk okay let's jump straight into it for a little context if you are new to the channel I have created and just launched this new catcoin called hodi and he is the first in line of a full cat series um that I'll be releasing and documenting on this channel I'm going to show you everything that I'm doing teach you things along the way so that if you want to come along for the ride with hodi and his gang awesome or if you want to actually create your own catcoin well I'm going to teach you everything you need to do so now before we jump into the breakdown of my financials let's go ahead and just take a quick look at the charts of where we're at at the moment I'm creating this video now you could see here our current market cap is 123,000 we had a really nice pump last or this morning and last night we were a real low and then I released the first YouTube video right around here and then dude we're climbing and like we're just getting started so this is exciting to see I'm going to be touching base on the charts every time I make a video just to see how things are trending but this is a roller coaster ride and I want you along with me okay let's jump straight into it I'm going to try to keep this as concise as possible whoops a little I'm a little far ahead I've broken this down into pre-launch the coin mint launch post launch marketing and Audits and then we're going to rock through a too or a total at the very end so you can get a sense so let me go ahead and just like Zoom this screen in got it come on let's Zoom that's too far okay so first things first again take your own approach but this is what I did first thing is your website domain which you want to lock in I went ahead cuz I'm crazy like that I ended up getting a few domains cat and Hoodie hoodie coin cat with bling cat with chain I just wanted to cover some bases and kind of lock down some of the branding roundabout I spent about 20 bucks for the year on this domain which will renew um I have WordPress you can build your website on anything canva there's a bunch of stuff out there I went ahead and did it on WordPress which is about $49 is a year um and then the the site that I actually use is I use site ground I actually have a couple other um websites on this hosting platform but this is what I went ahead and ended up using um for all my domains I host them through GoDaddy so just so you're kind of aware of how that breaks down um the theme that I used which I can actually use for multiple coins as I release it's a onetime price of 277 and my theme of choice for WordPress especially is divvy it's dope I've been using it for years like I've been building websites for years um bi all means like divy super awesome I think Pro is just 277 for the year definitely worth it if you want to build websites on WordPress so total investment pre-launch just till I get the brand locked in um is around $58 now one misstep that I did make is I had some eager guy on Telegram pitch me creating a sticker pack which I didn't know really how to do at that time so I was like sure I'll throw you a one soul and he created some they're okay stickers they're not awesome I probably would take that back and not do that so be warned all right let's jump into the coin and mint launch now this part is actually relatively inexpensive um first and things first minting the coin this cost around 75 bucks and what I ended up using is just close some of these tabs I ended up using Orion tools um to go through create the actual coin um revoke freeze Authority and then revoke mint Authority at least this is what you can start to use um in order to do this we did a little bit of a custom approach so that we could get hodi in the actual coin address um so there's you know a little bit of massaging went into this but essentially to get that kicked off you're looking somewhere around 100 105 USD from there um the next step is creating that open book Market ID and there I actually used coin tool app now normally I would use radium but radium was having some serious issues with transactions not going through so I just bailed on radium and I started doing things over here on coin tools app um which made a big difference so that's where I created the the open book Market ID for the liquidity pool I did that there as well and that cost about a half a soul 75 bucks to create the initial liquidity coin um or rather add liquidity to the coin I ended up adding 10 Soul worth of liquidity which was well not that cheap 10 sold that's not right let's just do this really quickly together so I can make sure that that's right so sold to USD converter um T Soul oh yeah that's way off all right let's just let's just correct this cuz that that's that looks oh that looks way more expensive okay so that's going to change my totals a little bit um see man we're all doing this together I put 10 soul in now you could really do anything I mean you could put a 100 you could five like this is really up to you and this plays into a lot of the Dynamics upon launch I just told I just wanted to bet 10 Soul so that's what I went with to burn liquidity after so that we get a little lock symbol on uh Dex tools and Dex screener it only cost I don't know 3 bucks and what I used for that was Soul incinerator so you just connect your wallet come over here when you have your LP tokens and you can burn those again this just helps people know that you're not a dick and you're going to rug them just provide that little extra level of security so if you are investing in other coins make sure the liquidity is locked seriously so grand total for that was around 1,700 bucks and that takes us into post launch now here's where again you can choose what you want to actually invest your money into what I chose was getting a DEX screener profile so essentially what that means is here in Dex tools if I search for hodi and I'm sure you're into crypto you know exactly what you're what I'm talking about it's this little piece right here and it's this little piece right here so I can actually make that look legitimate the same thing goes for Dex tools so again if I come in here and I'll search hodie boom boom there we go it's this little piece right here so I can add all of my contact links and make this look legitimate so again total investment there and with premium X was right over 1,000 bucks like 1,300 1,400 bucks for that investment um I'm still waiting for the blue check mark on the official Twitter account for hodi but that's coming um pretty soon next step is actually a marketing budget now again this can wild verily um to me what's most important is like putting a little initial marketing bump in there and then really just getting the community to rally and help push this out organically I think that's how coins can grow the best but every coin needs a little bit of a marketing bump up front so the first thing I did was on Deck screener I did an ad bu and essentially what that is is right over here um where we have these little ads that pop up right here I just added um created an ad for like 10,000 Impressions to pump there right upon coin release look at this is dipping if you're watching this right now I hope everyone's buying this dip because I'm making a video and I wish I could go start to buy that dip cuz when this video comes out that shit's going to rock it right up okay back to the Chart or back to our budget um the next thing that I did is I went ahead and plac an ad on moontalk so if we come over and we actually look at Moon talk I think I have it open I went ahead and add added a buy for this rotating Banner oh look at that timing we got it right there that that was that was good timing so I did a 3-day ad bu um right there and that total was around $670 that one is actually paid off I'm glad I did that it's got a really good placement um that one I would definitely do again deck screener maybe maybe I would do that I'm not sure um the Twitter ad campaigns I'm running those um on a 7-Day cycle for about $100 a day um totaling about $700 now I've been waiting for my ads to get approved so those are going to be launching really soon Twitter just has to approve these things so it takes a little time if I were to do this over again what I would end up doing is I would get my hodi Twitter um premium earlier and get the ads in the system earlier so that they were approved upon upon launch little missteps so if you're going to do that I would do this do this earlier okay now let's talk about some other that I did I fell for someone selling me like Dex tools trending cost me about four Soul 600 bucks it kind of worked but it kind of didn't honestly I didn't see a big lift from this and then also I had someone say hey I'll shill your I'll shill or do a call um for your coin I only gave him one soul I wouldn't do either of these things again don't waste your time honestly that was a misstep last but not least we have the audit now I just actually signed up for the pinkel audit since it's important to me to really um or very verify that this is a legit coin and I'm not just some rugger so this cost me 600 bucks I'm going through the process right now um to get that verification and get on pink sale.com with all that my total is $679 damn and that all that all came out of like my own pocket like this is not coming out of the marketing budget that I set aside for hod yet um we'll use that once we get to a milestone with the um with the market cap but at any rate that's what this cost me I would say like generally speaking if you want to launch a legit coin maybe between like 4,000 and
