uh thank you very much your Excellency I would like to thank you for the great honor you receive me at very short notice and uh I have been to Moscow in the last uh 4 years four times this is my fourth time but it's the first time I've been received by by your Excellency uh I bring the best regards from my president president Joo Doo I reported to him that I will visit you and you are going to receive me and I like to also uh congratulate you on being elected once again as president of the Russian Federation as you know um we consider Russia as a great friend and I would like to continue to maintain and enhance this relationship uh in our history we remember that uh Russia has always helped us in many aspects when we were in difficulties Russia helped us and uh although of course it at that time it was maybe the Soviet Union but if you come to Jakarta today many of the big infrastructure are were built by Russians by the Soviet Union our Parliament House our National Congress our National Stadium our national monument uh our first Highway uh was built and many bridges in many parts of Indonesia were built by uh at that time of Union and you also helped us uh build up our military forces when we were under threat and uh so this is uh something that we inherit from our parents that uh we must never forget those who helped us and uh I've experienced great cooperation as a minister of defense with uh your ministers and your team and uh I come here to emphasize that I would like to uh enhance this relationship when I take over officially uh the presidency of the Republic of I on the 20th of October this this coming October I have uh had a intensive discussions with your uh Team I met your Deputy Prime Minister first Deputy Prime Minister today also uh I met uh uh senior officials in your industry in your defense industry and actually we have been discussing uh quite intensively in the past uh few months uh the road map ahead that we would like to uh to increase our uh cooperation with uh with Russia so uh first of of course I already discussed uh that uh my main emphasis apart from food security energy security but also for uh for education and I plan to initiate a massive scholarship program uh to send our students outside Indonesia especially for medical training because we have a shortage of 160,000 Doctors medical doctors so we would like to if possible to send some uh some of our young boys and girls to study in in Russian uh universities technical colleges uh and we will initiate uh iPhone I plan to allocate a special budget for the scholarship but uh uh we look to Russia as a as one of our um main countries that we would like to send our young boys and girls to study in fact in the 60s we sent many of our uh young people to study here uh that's about education and uh I've been talking to some of your uh industrialists and uh we are uh open for uh for more Russian participation in uh our economy [Music] uh in the field of uh nuclear energy we have discussed with your institutions with Ros atom the possibility of uh cooperating in this field uh even the small modular reactors and also the the main reactors that uh we are discussing in the field of Tourism uh we have uh just approved that uh aof FL can fly direct to Bali and uh we also welcome uh Russia opening a consulate general in Bali uh I think there's a plan for uh Russia to open a Consul General in B and we fully support that and uh we will support uh direct flights not only I mean from Russia airl or other Russian Airlines uh in the build in the in the other fields we look forward to to close cooperation in tactical fields and uh also I would like to invite Uh Russian delegation to our uh defense conference and defense exhibition in November 2024 and uh also to invite Russ participation in our uh Naval parade which we would like to uh carry out in the early 2025 and I have promised your minister of defense that we will send a uh Navy contingent on your next uh Navy Day Parade if we are invited we would like to participate uh Excellency we have good cooperation and we would like to enhance this cooperation and uh I've been discussing and I will continue to discuss in more details The Way Forward on major uh programs thank you very much just
