the new year since this is our first time getting a chance to kind of uh gather together and engage in the 2021 and all that has begun and all that's already unfolding i kind of want to start with a little bit of an icebreaker and a game and then we'll get into some of our points of focus for tonight so this is the game that we're going to play i'm gonna pick someone one two maybe three people just depending on how quickly you all are able to execute and get the correct answer okay so when i pick you okay we're gonna play two truths one lie okay so whoever i pick you're gonna type in the chat and then read to us the three things two of them are going to be things that are true something that's true about you your life something that happened to you this week something that's happened or something that you've done something that you experienced somewhere that you've been anything and one thing that's alive one thing that's not true and then we're going to guess which one is the thing that is not true about you okay so we're going to start there and jada i want to start with you i think i have vignette on here let's see yes ma'am i'm here okay so you're gonna go first i want you to take the chat and type three things two things that would be true about you one thing that would be not when you're done typing i might i'll have you read them to us and they're going to take turns guessing which one is the one that's not true okay um assistant chief is it possible that i can go next because i'm actually driving but i am i will be to my destination in less than five minutes yes ma'am that's fine you can go second all right i will come to you ait gail can you give us two things about you that are true one thing that's not but don't tell us type them into the chat and then read them to us okay i'll make sure that we didn't lose her because i don't see her name anymore auntie gail are you still there okay we're gonna go to somebody else because i'm not sure what happened but i think she may have [Music] disconnected because i don't even see her in the list anymore all right um shea will come to you and you type new things for us okay that are true one thing that's not don't tell us oh here comes there you go uh okay you want me to go or did she come back why don't you go ahead and just jot down some thoughts uh and i may come back to you okay she's back on that way i'll be ready when i come back to you okay let's go all right yeah to gail oh she's her uh her audio is still connecting i think you have to go you don't have audio as as of yet oh there you go okay all right aitkel we see that you're back we lost you for a second all right can you hear me out to gail hey shea i'm gonna come back to you while she's trying to figure out whatever she's trying to figure out uh my internet keeps going in and out so it's back up now oh it's your internet okay yeah uh huh uh-huh i got this back up now ait gail uh-huh you ready to type out your things yeah i'm working on it now okay um so that was wrong i messed up [Music] um all right ait you ready yeah all right read them to us well one of them i think i put two things that wasn't true i don't know why i did that but let me put this other one okay there it is oh and i'm just typing fast okay the two three i want you to concentrate on is one i used to live in philly philadelphia uh uh the other one is i can drive very large vehicles and the third the third one is um i can draw really well all right so team uh you can uh mute yourselves and take turns saying which one is the one that's not true uh she lives in philly she can draw really well not she can draw real well really well it's not true not true she could draw really well yeah she can draw really well okay ait did we get it right we somebody said you living in the drawing it's the drawing i cannot draw okay we got you very good all right and jada are you settled yet um sure okay so we'll have you type and read us your three two things to the true one thing that's not okay okay read them to us so um the first one is i am in a movie the second one is i have been to germany and the third one is i can read spanish okay since you've been to germany i can read spanish i'm in a movie i've been to germany i think it's she's she's she's in a movie my guess is going to be the reading spanish i think a little spanish okay tell us which one is the one that's not true i've been to germany yeah okay is germany someplace you want to go one day in jada yes ma'am ah okay very good very good all right thank you okay shea will come to you as the last one type in your three things to true one night and then we're gonna take some guesses swelling right [Music] thank you hello darling welcome we started off with a a little game as a team uh right now we're waiting on shay she's typing into the chat two things about herself that are true one thing that is not true and as a team we're going to try to guess which thing is the thing that is not true all right um i graduated as valedictorian i love hiking up mountains and i spent some time in mexico the mountains the valedictorian of mountains the valedictorian mountains mountain mountain valedictorian okay which one i actually did graduate as a valedictorian i hate climbing mountains i have plowing the mountain i hate it and i spend time in mexico i do it i do it okay so wait that was all true well no i said i loved hiking up the mountain but i didn't oh got you okay i didn't i hate it that's not true about me okay i got you okay well thank you everyone for your participation and just taking a moment to just play a little game it's fun to kind of get to learn some things about one another see what we think we know uh about one another and just kind of learn and grow so we're gonna move forward here all right with our uh attendance okay so let me see here pull up a board i know we have patricia webb present uh yes ma'am patricia simpson present yes ma'am p-i-t o-widia i say we have p-i-t sade here we have a-i-t gail yes we have alicia bryce here we have uh jonita collins that would be me i'm here we have uh rebecca powell and jermaine powell yes i thought it was looking up okay we have darlene yarborough i'm here we have kamisha barrett camisha are you still on a a sound defaulted device i hope not okay i hear you now you but you you sound distant but i hear you um and jada simmons we have yes ma'am uh huh the shade did i call you yet uh no ma'am but i'm here okay and pit vanessa i'm here awesome okay then for the record uh tracy malone uh dr tina dumas um linda missouli i think she said she was going to be running late uh marsha withers marshall are you here yet nope uh carol lackey and carolyn henderson and oh pit rachel what she did let me know she's running uh gonna be running late all right so that's our attendance record uh for this time i want to talk with you all about of the assessments in the last intercessors bulletin that you received i mentioned that we were going to be scheduling assessments now what changed with the scheduling is that we decided on myself apostle ashley chief rafatala that we're all actually going to be involved in those one-on-one squad assessments as a result of that the delay came in with making everybody's schedule come together for when we would do that right instead of before where i just was going to send you a link you were going to schedule with me it was going to be done by now um but because we're all going to do this together right now we're working on the way that we're going to get our all of our three schedules to sync together i can tell you tentatively um that what may happen with this is that we may actually end up scheduling it for a saturday instead uh or you know maybe two saturdays one or two saturdays for example and assigning uh you all to a particular date there'll be a block of time and we would just you know come to the church meet with you one-on-one in a in one of the spaces one of the rooms there and just get through the assessments that way uh so that's uh possibly intentively how we're going to approach that which of course we did run into some delays on solidifying that between you know the change in the weather now this weekend we'll be celebrating dr price's birthday uh with her so um we'll we'll follow up with you as soon as i get solidified what's going to work for all three of us scheduled together then we will get that completed uh because that certainly is something that i'm looking forward to doing something that's very important to me that we do do and then as i told you when we did our intercessor one-on-ones it's gonna give you a baseline assessment uh for where you're currently at uh so that then we can begin to really apply in the various areas uh and grow from there you'll have specific things to kind of focus on and some definitions and and even a clearer understanding of really what we're looking for the kinds of things that you should develop uh if you're going to be one with a charge of upholding intercession uh for and covering all that that our ecclesial embassy is responsible for now i want to also just say this one of the things that we will review in the assessments is where you stand with performance protocols okay so you'll get one-on-one direct feedback about performance protocols because that aspect of your service is very important it's very important to the quality of who you are into the quality of what you do as an intercessor um just briefly to kind of give an idea of that tonight as we reset for the new year attendance attendance is going to be a significant one that we will highlight and that we will discuss in those assessment times when it comes to the wednesday uh pre-service prayer that we do from 6 30 until or 6 45 until 7 30 and when it comes to also the morning prayer line which i don't administrate those calls but it's still a part of your duties and your requirement as a squad so your attendance on both of those is critical it is required and one thing that we will not want to continue as we go into 2021 is chronic absence from either so as you hear me tonight as a team uh if you are one of the team members who know uh that you've had chronic absence that's something i'm gonna need you to resolve now as we go forward if you remember when we did the intercessor one-on-ones one of the things that i did was i asked each one of you specifically whether you had scheduling conflicts with the wisdom pre-service prayer uh when we moved that up so that it would be a full 45 minutes instead of the shorter time than it previously was okay and so uh we don't we're not going to continue to have chronic absence in that regard so that's going to be something that we're going to review uh if you know it's you right now as i'm saying it in general make sure you begin to work on your plan for fixing it whatever you've allowed to creep into that time window since you made a come since you made the commitments that you said that you didn't have you know for those that said they didn't have any it wasn't a scheduling conflict and then somehow now you're chronically absent okay i'm gonna need you to look into that and change that uh timeliness is another one of our performance protocols uh that we're going to reset on as it goes into 2021 again in your uh one-on-one assessments uh for those that for which that's an issue we will be discussing that but as i speak to you as a team on tonight uh for the wednesday prayer pre-service prayer and even for the uh morning prayer line timeliness is a requirement okay when it comes to that prayer line uh in the week when you get on in the mornings uh that needs to be uh if 5 30 is the start time 5 25 you should be on the line unless you happen to work a night job and your night shift and you're literally coming in your door or making a transition from getting off at 4 30 a.m or 5 a.m if that's not your scenario and all you're doing is having to wake up you know and do whatever you do everybody has a different routine you know break up brush your teeth wake up brush your teeth drink your coffee whatever your vagus routine is but being on time is required for that and then for the wednesday prayer time i know some of you are making transitions from work and transitions from jobs but as much as possible unless you have spoken directly with me about something extenuating that affects that um and which point that even has to be monitored in terms of your ability to actually serve on the squad um but unless you've spoken with me about something extenuating that grace period for those of you transitioning from jobs is really about 15 minutes into the time so we start at 6 45 you know you should be in the house by seven what i'm not wanting to see continue in 2021 is uh people coming in in the last 10 minutes of prayer if you're the on the intercessory squad you should not be coming in at 7 20 and we wrap up at 7 30. so i'm gonna need you to really look at what's going on with your schedules change it make different choices and again if you've got some kind of extenuating something else that needs to be monitored or considered we'll discuss that in your one-on-one uh assessment if it's not extenuating if there's not some legitimate unmovable something that would make you that late then it's not acceptable uh for you to be that late and it's not acceptable for you to be that late consistently again it's one thing to have uh you know one wednesday every three months where something came up especially if it's work related and you didn't make it into that later time it's another thing that consistently every wednesday uh to be walking in at 7 15 7 20. okay we're not going to continue that as we go into 2021 so i want you all to keep that in mind we won't have chronic absences from wednesday nights we won't have chronic uh tardiness all right we're gonna fix that because we are on the wall okay uh now uh there's one other thing i wanted to do oh let me just confirm before i go forward to the decrees uh the homework so the the individuals that i have received the latest homework from are kamisha barrett marsha withers darling yarborough alicia bryce shea page a wedia and then i saw yours pop up uh in the last few moments of p.i.t vanessa all right so if i did not name you that means that i do not have your homework i think i saw uh rebecca something pop up from you also since just in the last few minutes uh since we were transitioning into training training uh so make sure also that i have the things that you all are sending before training all right so if i didn't call your name that means you've not submitted your homework that means it's late and that's not uh something that we want to have as a recurring standard so i want you to make sure that you huh i sent you a message for marcia you did where you talk about in the zoom yes ma'am oh you know i don't know what the deal is but for some reason once i go into screen share i can't read the chat oh yeah okay um so i don't know what that's all about but if you're good she's coming she's coming under a different name her uh name is uh on their uh pam brown white you talking about in the zoo yeah she uh she needs to get access to come in she's sitting in the waiting room oh it's not it's not showing me anybody in the waiting room tell her to go out and come back in it's not shawn showing me anybody in the waiting room okay okay thank you ma'am you're welcome all right uh so now let us talk about you know one of the assignments one of the things that we've been kind of working through building up beginning i should say to build up our skill set because when i initially gave you all the assignment the assignment to make decrees to write decrees according to the four uh focal points of our targeted intercession for wednesday night prayers there's a few things that we were doing that one was of course so that we would have the structure that we need for targeted intercession and not just kind of be floating getting lost losing words not knowing what to pray you know and all of those sorts of things but also uh so that we can begin to measure your various skill sets um and so in order to see where you were at with knowing how to do it without any any training from me i should say um as i now make the transition into overseeing uh the intercessor squad uh wanting to see what your ability is your baseline ability like we said with the assessments the first assessments will be baseline looking for uh what your abilities were in that some of you uh were familiar with that have maybe done those things before were able to do it some of you maybe not have had not done that before not familiar with it you know begin to learn it work your way through it um you know some of you dealt with some frustration but as we know we're on the wall we're on duty and part of this process is growth right it's the growth of what it takes to be able to hold the post and hold the duty so regardless of where you were that was one of the goals was to see where are you okay so that we have that starting mark just like you know if you take your child to school uh elementary school they have they typically will give them a baseline assessment if it's a school that they've never been to before they test the student so that they can see where's the student at their age level might be third uh first grade or second grade depending on you know how the schools were broke up where you grew up what grade levels were together uh but they might be first grade or second grade but when they're this year's i can see here now okay uh but when when they're tested uh you might find out that their third grade in their math ability fifth grade in their reading ability and that's coming into the school that's before the school has had any opportunity to um you know to begin to actually matriculate that student through its overall curriculum uh and its overall process for educating the student they're looking to see where is the student coming in at okay and so that was one of the uh goals as well of that assignment concerning the decrees was to be able to get a baseline for everybody okay there's some long-term uh significances to that as well because as we move forward in 2021 one of the things that will come out of our assessments is uh you know having different uh levels or areas within our intercessory squad you know having uh senior intercessors versus junior intercessors you know versus those we've got profits and training uh various individuals at different levels and you're going to have assignments us in accessory assignments according to your level you see so it's i i want you to understand that there's a logic to how we're progressing that even assignments cannot just be doled out but they have to really if we want to be effective and we want to do this job right we heard dr price say uh several studies back she took a moment to kind of address um the significance of intercession the significance of prayer and she talked about intercessors being that first line of defense intercessors being that wall around a congregation in our case an ecclesial embassy right and so if we want to be strong and effective at this as a squad then it's no different than anything else a dance squad you know a basketball team they're gonna they station people according to their skills if somebody's not strong at defense they don't put them on defense if somebody is good at driving the ball and pressing through the opposite team and getting that donk then the coach puts them in that position you know you think about the football if somebody is good at what it takes to quarterback that's how they get selected to be the quarterback because they have the skill sets they have the abilities for that position so as we go forward in 2021 there's a lot of things that we're going to be rolling out because that we're going to be adding to but what had to be monitored for for in those beginning months and seasons was what do we have where are different people at where are the various skill sets at so that we're not just doling out assignments and we don't really know can you handle that assignment is so and so going to be effective at that is this something that they can cover can they handle the backlash that would come does this person have the soul to stand because intercession does incur some backlash as any post right as any military post as any duty or responsibility where you're in a warfare then there's a an opportunity there's potentiality right that the bullets have are flying and uh things are going off and rockets are being shot that you might end up in the vicinity that you might end up in the vicinity of um you know something that's exploding something that's being shot and you might get nicked or you might take a bullet or whatever you know the case may be okay and so all of that has to to be measured as even setting the stage for you know who to give what who to assign what those types of things so as we prepare to roll that out in 2021 you know i want us to understand where some of the logic of how some of these things are being done has come and so as we work through this we're taking the time tonight briefly to uh do if you will kind of work do a little teaching on decrees that will workshop even further when we get together again physically uh for training through at different points throughout this year so first of all i want us to understand uh decree versus declare right decree versus declare uh because as we begin to deal with prayer and intercession we have to learn the skill sets of prayer um ephesians chapter 6 and 18 says that we should pray always with all kinds of prayer all types of prayer in the spirit okay so we understanding the difference between decreeing and declaring is going to be important not only as you write decrees but as you execute them right because what we and this is another reason why that wednesday night becomes so important because not only am i looking at what you send by email in terms of decrees that you've written out but i'm looking at your ability to execute them so when we come together on wednesday night for pre-service prayer in that context then you're you're having to execute decrees according to you know whatever particular targeted point uh that you are being given that particular night okay so understanding the difference versus decreeing and declaring and those two elements in the work of intercession is important too so let's look and discuss the anatomy of a decree because a decree has a um distinct anatomy from declarations and as intercessors you'll be doing both right you'll do a mix of declarations you'll do a mix of decrees um some of you will do more declarations than decree some of you will do more decrees and declarations based upon your constitution your makeups your mental types what you know what you're in route to some of you are uh prophets in training some of you are those who you know you maybe you took the maq a certain amount of time ago you came up as prophet you haven't really come into your time of actually being for god really awakening and inducting and drawing you into service at that level but you know that it's it's in your makeup some of you are not prophets or anyone in route to um the office of the prophet some of you are just straight intercessors just straight back on that level um you know different things and so that's going to play a role in how much of one or the other also kind of manifests in your prayer and intercession we all can use decrees we all should use decrees but you'll find out in a moment here's some of the things that contribute to that distinction all right so the anatomy of a decree first of all you know fundamentally i think i've mentioned this to you before the first part of the anatomy of a decree is the word of god as the canon of scripture right so you're gonna if you don't have a strong word life then yes an assignment like right decrees will be a struggle for you so one of the things then in taking on this assignment means what you have to commit to developing your word life developing your word study spending time in the scriptures and not only just listening to scriptures devotionally like you know sometimes we'll just listen to the scriptures for the way that they exhort us the way that they soothe us the way that they encourage us the way that they build up our faith right but you're gonna have to get another ear you're gonna have to get a tactical ear right and you're gonna have to dig into scripture at a level that when you're reading a verse you take the time to ask well and dig into the words and the language for you know what does it mean and why why did god use this particular language or in this this passage of scripture if we got these three verses in the passage of scripture why was it important to say this first in verse four then this in verse 5 then this and verse 6 asking those kinds of questions actually analyzing the scripture actually inspecting the scripture actually interrogating the logic of god's word and something that's being laid out in a particular text and the more you develop those skill sets the more you develop that kind of a lens that kind of an eye and that kind of an ear when it comes to the canon of scripture the more it's going to contribute to your ability to write and execute decrees okay so that's very important that's the first part of the anatomy the next part come up because we're in what a house of apostleship and a house of apostleship is built upon the foundation of first apostles and second prophets the second part of the anatomy of a decree is the prophetic word the prophetic word of god that the apostles and the prophets are decreeing right in the house in this in season and time whether it's over the house whether it's over the largest fear like dr price has been dealing with the nation right okay so those words that are being decreed that's also part of the anatomy of a decree because when you're dealing in a decree not only are you dealing with and enforcing what god has written in terms of the canon of scripture it is written right but but you're also enforcing what god the proceeding word of god that's that isaiah 55 right the word that proceeds uh uh from my mouth he says as the heavens are higher than the earth saw my words and my ways and my thoughts higher than your ways and and and so he begins to talk about this his word being like the rain that comes down we looked at that when we looked at the biosphere and the ecosphere right that his words are like this rain that comes down watering the earth giving uh seed to the sower bread to the eater he says so shall my word be it shall not return it to me void but it shall accomplish the thing that i send it to accomplish in the thing where unto i sent it okay so the other aspect of the anatomy of a decree is that proceeding word it's that word that god is sending so when dr price because it speaks forth a word when the prophets in the house are speaking forth words then out of that okay that's also would be a part of the anatomy of the decrees that you would operate in his intercessors think about uh when we do the word of the lord on sundays on january i walked us through various things in the word of the lord now we're in february prophet tamira is walking us through some things as intercessors you should be having a particular ear you should not only be hearing as a congregant only be hearing as you know what is the word of the lord saying to you and saying about your life you should be hearing as an intercessor right and when you're praying for the congregation throughout the week right not just on uh in those open times like wednesday or what have you but when you're praying for the congregation throughout the week when you're praying for the congregation uh when you gather on the early morning line then uh that should influence what the prophets are saying should be a part of what you're taking up as intercessors and making decrees about and calling forth and interceding and petitioning and lifting up and enforcing it through the mechanism of prayer uh into existence so therefore the prophetic word is another part of the anatomy of a decree now let's look at some contrast right because we're saying decree versus declare so that you can also understand the nature of decrees that when you're writing decrees when you're praying and executing decrees they they need to have the word of god in them from the canon of scripture they need to have the things that god is saying prophetically in them so in contrast to declare declare means to make known or to make clear by words it means things like to explain to interpret to proclaim or announce okay so when you're declaring you're you're making no when you're declaring uh you're explaining i'll give you an example you know and this is another reason why wednesday attendance is important because one of the things that i will often do on wednesdays is i will demo i will demonstrate um executing you know the various decrees i will demonstrate praying through different things and so if you're absent if you're super tardy right you're not there for the demos well if you're not there for the demos then you you missed opportunities to learn and to grow if you're not present because part of your learning because the intersession is not a textbook post what i mean by that is it's not the kind of assignment that you just you know just read the textbook and then okay and then i do this though intercession is something that grows deepens and matures and develops in the intercessor by doing you have to pray to grow in prayer so if you're not present to pray and to actually do it and if you're not present to observe it you see because it's in the actual action of prayer that you also get that opportunity to observe to listen when we're there on wednesday nights right you're we we're corporately engaging we talked about that importance of being together praying as a corporate entity not being kind of in the room but all off in our own different areas right and so part of that corporate prayer dynamic is also that you're listening that you're listening to one another that you're listening to me in those moments where where i begin to lead the prayer and it becomes an opportunity for you to to learn if you think about uh i'll go back to the example one of the examples from the december training that we had where we talked about dancing right if you think about dancing a dancer doesn't become a great dancer or learn to be great at dancing simply by reading textbook on dance even though um people who really want to professionally be dancers do have some textbooks they do have to read some things about the history of dance they do have to read and study and learn some things about musical scales and rhythm right if they're going to be professional in that sphere there is an academic to it that that is a part of becoming a professional of that sphere but yet they can't become a dancer of of greatness and uh expertise right what dr price was talking about um on sunday she mentioned the issue of expertise right you can't become a dancer of expertise by just reading something looking at maybe some picture sketches and some pictures that you have to dance like after you take the class and you read this and then then guess what then we have to go to the actual dance room where we've got the mirrors and we can begin to do the move and see ourself and see one another we see the instructor execute blah blah blah and then it's like now let's see can you execute blah blah blah okay so that's another reason why being present and on time and on the wednesday nights is critical because you you you if not you're not a part of the process that's going to actually develop you so for example when you guys hear me pray right sometime i'll take let's just take the most recent decrees that we're praying out of that was sent to you uh and it says we bind and not the viper's tongue and we command you uh not to speak concerning the name of dr paula price that was that's one of our decrees in that one and so you'll notice that on wednesday night sometimes when i take a moment to leave the prayer i will read a decree and then i begin to go carry that out right i sometimes word it as i start praying into the decree is is one of the ways that i articulate that and i've said that to you all in some past trainings i start praying into the decree so now as we talk about declare versus decree and declare meaning to explain if you will that's an application i say the decree we bind and not the viper's tongue and command you not to speak concerning the name of dr paul of christ and then i begin to explain to heaven and earth what i expect it to do i begin to explain what it is that i want done i begin to explain to devils you see so when you pray into it okay uh so if i were to continue on if it was wednesday night and i was continuing on there and we command you not to speak we commend you every vile spirit every spirit of accusation every spirit of a lie we shine silence you in the name of jesus the christ you will not bring censure against the name of this apostle you will not bring censure against her word we'd agree her word is coming from heaven okay now i'm watching me i'm intermixing did you see because i'm moving i'm i'm leveraging declaration to explain to the to the realms heaven and earth and the things in heaven and earth that need to hear what it is that i'm saying what that decree means what i expect how i expect them to respond what i expect it to do and then because i you know have have a certain skill set oftentimes what happens for me is as i'm doing that uh more decrees i'll begin to link and construct right because intercession is something that you construct remember you know every one of you intercessors should be watching the force okay because on the force i teach extensively and i'm on there every wednesday so i'ma say this as well because you can't say you know i don't know i'm not sure i'm not growing and you're not actually tapping in to every aspect of the resources that are available if you are on the intercessory squad you should be a viewer of the force now you may not be able to be on there live i get that because i'm on during the daytime you know people with different job requirements etc i get that you know that's not a issue but i should see you in there replay assistant chief good afternoon assistant chief good evening assistant chief replay because we cannot continue to go forward with you making very small steps but i'm teaching extensively every wednesday things that will develop you and help you and your if you're on the squad then you should say that's a part of your education that's a part of your development that's a part of what's going to give you insight and give you understanding so uh on the force one of the things i have been telling the intercessors i have been talking with them over the last two seasons about the fact that prayer is a legal instrument okay so when we think about law and we think about a lawyer when a lawyer gets ready to take a case to court so that they can defend whoever their client is right in court they do what they write briefs the brief is a legal instrument that is presented to the courts that is presented to the judge that deals with the issues of the case and sets a framework sets a premise sets a schematic for the direction of the argument and why it is that whatever their defense or their offense of their particular client is why that is something that the court should allow to stand they have to construct a brief they have to think very thoughtfully this is what you all are progressively growing in so when i say and gave that example about how i will read a decree begin to declare to explain to interpret to give the direction to what i want heaven and earth to do on the basis of that decree and the other degrees begin to come out i'm constructing that's something that comes out of the experience that's something that comes out of the practice right so decrees will come out of the decrees because i'm constructing this particular instrument that i am now presenting to the heavens that i am presenting to the throne of god for what should be and what should be established in the earth and in the planet through the apparatus and mechanism of prayer okay um we i one of the decrees says we decree that dr paula price is a true apostle and prophet of the most high god the god of the angel army so if you were to hear me on wednesday night and i were to make that decree pray that decree i'm then as i begin to pray into that you know i'm likely to again a weaving of that declaring and decreeing so i'm likely to say you know something like uh and so we come against uh the stronghold of the false god we commission your angels father to begin to overturn the edicts and the declarations and the decrees of the balaam institution what am i doing i'm giving explanation do you see what i'm saying to you about this declaration i'm making clear to heaven and earth that when i say that we decree that dr paula price is a true apostle and prophet of the most high god the god of the angel armies i'm making no and i'm making clear that that means these balaam prophets they cannot project their powers they cannot overthrow what it is that she has said they cannot overthrow her name they cannot overthrow her reputation reputation as i continue to pray you say i'm using declaration i'm making no i'm making clear i'm giving explanation remember i've taught you as intercessors that when you pray you're not just being heard by god right that you're being heard by everything in the creation that has a responsibility to respond to your intercession which is why when we come in on wednesday night we have that whole prayer point of ministering to the sovereign that all prayer point of invocation because as an intercessor if you can't get anything to move and if you can't get anything to respond to what you say and what you pray then you're not you're not operating an intercession right so we've got to keep testing your waters you've got to keep growing your muscle you got to keep stretching yourself for that capacity to open up your mouth and creation here's open up your mouth and then sometimes when i'm praying i'ma tell you there's because there's there's a couple of aspects to that sometimes when i'm praying okay we know that there is the opening of your mouth and and the response of heaven right which has different ways that it that it can manifest but that temperature in the room shifts that atmosphere in the room shifts that climate in the room shifts or you you can sometimes feel the weight of god come in when there is that invocation of heaven but there's also that there's a pushback thing there's times sometimes especially when we hit certain decrees right where i'll be praying and i'll say a certain decree and it's like all the oxygen you know is trying to be snatched out of my lungs what is that that is the fact that devils hear me too that they recognize i'm speaking to you and so when we hit certain things because devils are criminals because devils are rebellious they're going to offer resistance they're going to push back and so sometimes that indicator that heaven and her earth hear you when you speak hear you when you pray is the way that you immediately feel the grip of the pushback when you begin to hit certain things and you've got to develop yourself against that that when it seems like you you hit something and now that that force that prince apology that whatever you've hit that devil whatever uh it's like it's trying to suck the oxygen out you you you've got to be able to muster up the muscle of your spirit the muscle of your intercessory apparatus to push back okay and so sometimes when we hit certain things we gotta you can't that's not a place for you to you know become preoccupied with your own self become preoccupied with your ego you know just want to give up because oh you know i'm getting i ca it feels like i'm not getting through sometimes that not getting through is the reality of the resistance especially in an app and a house of apostleship you have to grow your muscle to be able to right to push back on that thing that wants to push against you and as you grow eventually you reach the place where instead of just it where just like some just took all your power and you weren't able to do anything else after that eventually you hit the place where you snapped that resistance right where you break it and and and then you get breakthrough and and there's a way that that hits the house as well and hits the atmosphere and hits the climate so when we're saying declare i hope you understand uh that we can begin to see some distinctions there now look at decree decree oh let me i'm sorry i didn't i do have this verse for you first um psalm two and seven i will this i love this because of the this is a scriptural precedent for what i just said about interworking them as a strategy he says i will declare the decree see what i'm saying so what i just said to you when i said that i will say a decree and then start praying in psalm 27 i will declare the decree i will make known the decree i will make clear the decree because you see devils are not only criminals they're legalists and the reason why you have to declare the decree is because that that deals with every place that a devil would try to slide into in order to not have to obey your decree and in order to try to maintain a whole maintain a stronghold maintain a resistance so i declare the decree because i'ma shine light on every loophole i'ma shine light on every tactic that you want to try to use against what i'm establishing i will declare the decree the lord has said unto me thou art my son this day have i begotten thee now we that'll really mean something to us right now in this season of becoming god's stronghold okay so um that's a scriptural uh example now decree decree means to order or promulgate with authority it also means to cause to emerge so that one of the things that distinguishes a decree from a declaration is authority and cause the difference of a decree from a declaration is authority and cause because when i decree right what i'm making a statement with authority i'm not just announcing right we you are announcing you are proclaiming and then with the decree you are proclaimed i mean with a declaration you are proclaiming you are announcing but with the decree you're proclaiming and announcing with authority okay so that means that when we start talking about the anatomy of decrees you have to look at you all you have to look at your language right and you'll have to keep going back and polishing your language because a lot of sometimes a lot of you with your language when you're praying especially in execution you all get stuck in we thank you we praise you we ask you but that's not to order with authority you see what i'm saying i'm not saying you can't that any none of your phrases can say god we thank you you can have phrases that say god we thank you especially if you're if you're doing the ministering to the sovereign i can see how you would have a greater uh percentage of those because you're invoking you're entreating we're blessing and we're calling great we're doing right but but after that you've got to move on and many of you are stuck in petitional prayer so that when even when you're decreeing your language keeps saying father we ask you this lord we thank you for that but decree is to order with authority it's to say this is what shall be not we're asking but this is what shall be right we're not asking that hearts will be open father we ask tonight that hearts would be open to your word we decree in jesus name god that the hearts of men open to the sound of your word we loose the very hammer of god that breaks the rocks in pieces we speak to the rocks god we speak to the stony heart we speak to the disappointment we speak to bitterness we speak to let down we speak to trauma we speak to crisis that has inseminated itself in the hearts of men and we command you to pray by the word of god we the creed hearts open so what god is saying in this place on tonight you see what i'm saying with authority so some of you in that anatomy of your decrees you got to change that languaging right you know it's going to take practice because what you're shifting is a consciousness that you've been in an evangelical consciousness when it comes to prayer that that consciousness has had a certain grip and now as you stand in a position of responsibility you've got to work even harder you've got to be even more noticeable but noticeable about those areas where you're just petitioning as opposed to actually decreeing exercising your authority ordering the the heaven and the earth for what it's gonna do that authority that cause so if you're writing or praying a decree you are asking what do i need or what do i want heaven or earth to do that's what you should be thinking when you're writing or when you're praying a decree but it's gonna start with writing right because it'll come more instinctual to your cognition once you've gotten more practice at actually scripting it that's why we've got to start you there okay so you've got to ask that what is it that i want that i need heaven or earth to do and that that decree has to have the structure and the language of that you know what i'm saying if you have children and you need your child to bring the remote and and it's a decree you understand y'all seeing the uh sitcom where the kid is all the way upstairs on the second floor in the bedroom and mama or daddy is sitting there from the tv and the remote control is right there on the on the coffee tables right there mama and daddy not we not getting up to get the remote control right the no no we gonna call rusty shayvon come here we gonna call them and then come downstairs yes ma'am give me the remote that was my life it's a decree it's with authority you said i said see in that scenario you're not that's not a scenario where you're saying oh i please and i hope and i ask that you might hand me the remote no you're ordering with authority you know that for your child to hand you you're gonna come down from upstairs you're gonna come here to this coffee table that's two feet from me and you gonna hand me this remote thank you jesus uh order with authority you see what i'm saying so that mindset has got to shift out in in your execution and in your language when when we're praying okay so that we have that and it just it's going to take practice it's going to take eventually that will become as instinctual to you you say i'm saying that's calling for shaiva now some of us we have got no problem we have to think twice about the fact that shame i'm gonna come from the second floor and give me some money it's instinctual that's that's what you gonna do because i'm the parent i work the eight hour day i put the groceries in the refrigerator you young i'm all you gonna use them lungs you're gonna use the legs and the muscles you're gonna come give me this remote it's instinctual the issue is for you in the prayer that hasn't become instinctual yet right so the more you practice it the more instinctual it becomes so don't you know don't beat yourself up and don't pick one another apart about the mistakes but work together okay to develop and to craft work together be like okay that time you know i i i slipped into ask a few extra more times than i wanted to next time i'm gonna narrow that down oh good okay i'm never down this time i still said that a few times when i meant to say we decree i said we ask and we thank you but i okay and then you get better over time also as that authority actually grows within your spirit it becomes more instinctual too which that's a whole other lesson for another day all right and so you're saying what do i need heaven or earth to do and don't forget i said the difference is authority and cause what do i need to cause to be or to cause to happen when you're making a decree remember that because it's ordering or promo the best that word promulgate promulgate means to cause uh it means to cause something to come into emergence uh interestingly enough it means to milk it it means to milk um and so you're you you have to consider it that way that when you're praying and when you're praying in the kind and type and genus a prayer of decrees right that there are things you're making a decree as an agent of heaven and intercession because there's something that you need to cause to happen right so that's what you want to think of when you're writing and you're trying to understand how a decree should look and what it should contain some of you when you were writing your decrees in your homework it was more like you just took some scriptures and then just lined with them in a line right well the scripture is a part of the anatomy of the decree but that's that's not the only anatomy what what what are you what are you enforcing what are you saying what do you need done what are you causing to happen this is his word now how are you constructing it to cause this thing to happen right so some of you are going to need to go back and spend time with your decrees right so that you get all of the elements of that anatomy in there okay and so that's what i want us to understand tonight uh and we'll get into it more in depth as we go forward in our various trainings but because that was one of the central homework assignments outside of our training audio videos i wanted to get to that so we'll also do some future workshops workshops will be where we'll literally you know take some something in our training and we'll sit there together and write and construct right and and practice doing that together that'll be a workshop for us on writing decrees but for tonight i wanted you to get get it conceptually i wanted you to get and understand some the fundamentals of the anatomy of a decree and then how the korean declaration kind of interplays and intermixes in the actual execution of prayer now then the one thing i will say with the decrease that range of authority is going to be different depending on what i mentioned to you earlier right that a prophet is going to have a different range of authority in in the to to to leverage okay when they are making an order than just someone who is just an intercessor a prophet in training that's on the intercessor squad is going to have a different uh measure of authority to leverage right than someone that's an innocent or someone that's a brand new innocent or a baby intercessor okay so we also have to understand that don't even though we're we want to know one another's strengths and we want to learn how to work together as a team don't get into comparing yourselves by yourselves in that sense right don't feel like you shouldn't be um on you know doing something at all you just gonna give up and you're just gonna quit because you don't sound like so-and-so but you may not be in so-and-so's sphere of authority okay so what you want to do is you want to develop and master and mature the authority that is respected to your realm your sphere your level if you're a new intercessor a baby an assessor a junior intercessor you're gonna have to master those things first and get to the other later if that's a part of god's predestinations for you otherwise you'll exercise in the level in the sphere that you're called to but what i do know is whether you're an intercessor whether you're um a junior intercessor a senior intercessor a prophet in training an apostle in training a prophet an ordained prophet a commissioned apostle regardless of any of that we all have to be able to get heaven's ear in prayer we all should have a prayer that we can tell heaven is responding to we all should have a prayer our prayer should be able to move or invoke the backing of heaven to bring down something that devils attract devils have ranks too remember devil's devils have ranks too that's why when he wrote in ephesians he thought about principalities powers spiritual wickedness and high places world wars and darkness then he did over here somewhere he talked about the thrones and the dominions right because devils they have ranks too okay so to each okay there is there is a sphere to be assigned regardless of what your sphere is we you need to be able to manifest that capacity to invoke heaven to invoke its backing and to take the devil of your rank down okay and then you're all gonna have a distinct and more exceptional rank than in an evangelical atmosphere because we are a house of apostleship all right so listen um i wanted to i'm gonna take a moment here to just kind of open the floor uh for uh some of your questions again because i'm screen sharing i can't see the chat so you will need to verbalize your questions and then if i don't get to all of them tonight that's okay we'll get to them we'll get some future trainings we'll get to them how and i'm going to be also doing some like i don't want to say pop-ups in the sense of them being live right but i'm going to be doing uh consistent moments of just videos engaging with you saying more outside and beyond just our trainings little shorter videos on different things and so i'll also be able to answer questions that i might not always get to in the trainings in some of those videos that i would do all right so i open the floor for questions or comments on the training okay this is a shay um you mentioned that prayer is a legal uh instrument can you go a little bit more into that i mean i know legal when i think of legal i'm thinking about law the court system you know so can you just kind of elaborate a little bit more on that yeah i'll elaborate a little bit more and then again i'll remind you because i did address this on the force so i'm going to encourage you all to go back and watch uh those things season two i dealt with that extensively uh in season two but um so let's think about i don't know if any of you have ever been served papers you know for anything uh in your life if you've ever been served papers those papers that you serve were a legal instrument they were the device or the tool by which the courts in your area were invoking its authority in an issue that you had been associated to or involved with so an instrument i mean again a synonym for instrument can be tool um i got this little coaxial table uh cable this happened to be seen here a little extra cable right this cable is an instrument for connecting my tv to my cable output if i have cable and i want to be able to access my channels i need an instrument i need a tool i need something that's going to connect one thing to the other so that they can talk to one another and i can actually see the picture so uh prayer is a legal instrument because when first of all like i said when we're praying the word of god is the foundation the reason why we need to pray and this i talked about in i believe last week's episode of the force the reason why we need to pray is because of the consequences of the identity challenge the fact that we are dealing with criminals the devil is a criminal the spiritual powers that fell with him are criminal and rebellious powers so they are constantly breaching the laws of god and one of the things that prayer is doing is that it's establishing and defending what god has said in his law should be so which is why the scripture said whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven whatsoever you forbid by forbid disallow prohibit okay declare unlawful so prayer is an instrument by which the powers of heaven's court and heavens thrown in heaven's agencies both functioning in the soprano realm and in how they function coming all the way down into the natural temporal realm that's how you invoke that and insert it into whatever the circumstance is that you're making a prayer upon or about i have a question this is marcia um how do you know your strength as an ancestor how do you know where you are okay so it's going to be a mix of things um one intercessors should journal okay um record keeping is an important part of an intercessor being able to measure where they are because if you don't record keep you don't have a concrete way of being able to prove and establish patterns about what your prayers have affected right because one of the ways you measure your strength is by the fruits right i teach on this a lot in the force that when the disciples said that jesus lord teach us to pray he said after this man i pray ye our fathers who are in heaven uh hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in the earth as is in heaven so i've emphasized that one of the purposes of prayer and intercession is for the will of god to be done so when we journal we're able to create a track record about what was done what of god's will ended up being done made manifest made full put in motion as a result of our prayer intercession uh number two is going to be uh mentorship and and monitoring right that the intercessor is going to know their strength by seeing your more experienced intercessors which is why dr price brought up the other sunday when she was dealing with uh paradise session she talked about why intercessors have to be under the supervision of profits right because it is that oversight and that monitoring of a more the mantle of the profit which is more mature um that's going to be able to assess your strength it's going to be able to assess what's actually happening in the in the unseen and in the physical realm as a result of prayers that you are releasing so sometimes when you're younger and you're not yet as developed in that um you're not as able to track some of those in the moment things and so you have to be subjected to you know senior uh officials uh in order for them to tell you hey these this is this is what's going on with your strength level this is what your capacity level is etcetera and then um thirdly uh as a dimension of that is the more that you become spiritually astute the more capable you also are in the moment of detecting that you're affecting and that you're shifting see when you when you are very young in this process because one of the things that i've taught intercessors on the force broadcast is that pre intercession and prayer is a part of the world of the prophetic okay it belongs to the world of the prophetic when you are young in developing certain faculties certain awarenesses you don't you're not picking up because you haven't developed your faculties at that level you're not picking up as much what's actually happening right you have to develop in a place you have to your flesh even uh has to come down to to a certain deaf place for you for to even heighten your senses right remember about james and he's talking about the different kinds of wisdom and he talks about sensual wisdom you know you've been used to operating according to seaside each touch smell feel and the you have to um develop your pneumatic faculties your pneumatic senses to be able to know what's happening and what's shifting in the spiritual realm to be able to feel i was talking about that barrier when you're undeveloped you don't you don't even detect you know that something is pushing back or detect whether you're breaking through you're praying out of your head sometimes praying out your brain instead of out of your spirit because you're you gotta those are things that have to be developed um and so all of those things contribute to an intercessor knowing their strength thank you yes ma'am all right one more feet um this is ada um i was just um as you were walking through uh of course the dance portion or how you related dance and theory um i even thought about uh hair school or any form of tech uh school you have certain amount of weeks that you spend in theory and then you get into your practical training and while you're in your practical training you have people uh who are already licensed there on the floor with you so that you can call upon you know when you are in need or they'll come and help you out or just be a guide for you but in that theory you're learning why something happens or why this does that and um so you know learn the why um but then you also develop where your strengths are as well so you may be more target to as far as cosmetology you may be more targeted to i'm sorry deny is having to fit behind me i don't know if you guys can hear him but excuse me it's okay i'm sorry um so uh but you may have a more fit for or you may find out that you have more of a pull to the cosmetics or you may have a more natural ability to cut hair so you have styles that kind of just okay my specialty is cutting or my specialty is color you have certain styles that are all the way around but they may still have a specialty that they like more than the other that they have a fine ability is more strengthened in this area so i definitely uh loved how you broke that down and gave um just the practical logics behind it or the tech the techn the technology behind the theology yeah sir thank you yes yes ma'am thank you uh for that i think that's excellent um and i know all the prophets in training can say amen uh about moving from theory to practice because that's the way um that our training system is set up and so you know even in that example i would say that exactly that many of you right now on our squad are intercessors in theory um and you're now becoming moving into developing and becoming an intercessor in practice and really um that that that make up that constitution having that really built in you and being able to really exercise it to identify it and to know what to do with it okay and then some of you um you had been intercessors in practice and in constitution but the problem was that much of your ancestry constitution was based in evangelical theories right and things that are not um the aspects of what god is running with so god had to dismantle you so that he could now put the you know the apostleship apostolic theory in your spirit and teach you about this thing according to the context of apostleship according to the context of the foundations of apostles and prophets and then move you back into practice you see um so thank you very much and yet uh excellent example there with that all right so i want to invite you all uh that you can sow seeds by cash app to profit angela or you can sell to world impact institute at outlook.com if you're using paypal uh and we i'm gonna end this share let me figure out how to do it well maybe if i just do it this way okay yes all right so um i'm praying that you all have a great evening uh that you stay safe uh that you as you push out now into you know this weather and what's happening with our streets um everybody stay safe you know just be careful drive safely pay attention to what you're doing and don't forget to cover our chief apostle in this time to encourage her if you've got a word of encouragement a dream a prophecy something you just want to say thank you about don't forget that you can email that to me or you can email that to chief prophet tala and we will forward those encouragements to dr price all month of february so god bless father i thank you so much lord for this ancestor squad god i thank you for what you're developing i thank you for what you're doing what you're maturing in them what you're growing in them god i thank you that truly christ in us the hope of glory is poised to go to another place you said in your word that we go from glory to glory and so i'm praying god that the 2021 will be in ignition and and igniting into god those next levels and spheres of glories for each and every one of these father i pray that you would help them to be disciplined and consistent that they would bring discipline and not just charisma god to the assignment and to the task i cover them in the very blood of jesus christ i commission the angels of this commission and this stronghold to even encircle around about them to guard them and protect them from the the backlash and the onslaughts and the things that come as they stand upon the wall and as they stand to press forward your will i pray that their hearts will be filled with hope god and with joy and i bless you in jesus name amen and amen good night everyone and good night good night good night hey man good night thank you good night everyone good night
