Required Files and Software

Paper Fold Effect
Steps
- Import Files: Download and import the necessary files into CapCut.
- New Project: Start a new project in CapCut.
- Place Black Background: Add the black background to the timeline.
- Add Paper Transition: Place paper transition file on the timeline, making it the same length as the black background.
- Add Hand File: Drag the hand file onto the timeline.
- Change Project Ratio: Set the project ratio to square.
- Overlay Files: Ensure both paper transition and hand files cover the entire frame.
- Apply Chroma Key: Select chroma key on the paper transition, use the Color Picker on green, and set strength to 100.
- Set Blend Mode: Change hand file's blend mode to Overlay.
- Adjust Brightness/Contrast: Decrease brightness to 30 and increase contrast to 20 on the paper transition.
- Add Cartoon Effect: Apply black and white comic effect to the hand file, making the background disappear.
Exporting
- Create Green Screen Effect: Select top two clips and create a compound clip (alt+G or right-click > Create Compound Clip).
- Adjust Brightness: Increase brightness by 20 points.
- Export: Export this clip as “paper transition effect”.
- Add Exported File: Import exported file back into CapCut.
Final Adjustments
- Add Green Screen File: Place green screen file underneath the hand file.
- Auto Cutout: Apply auto cutout to the hand file.
- Resize Background: Ensure green screen covers the entire frame.
- Export Final File: Set in and out points and export.
- Chroma Key Final File: Import final file, apply color-picking chroma key to remove green background.
- Reverse Clip: Reverse the clip to go from folded to full size if needed.
Animated Silhouette Effect
Steps
- Import Yourself: Import video of yourself into the timeline.
- Resize: Adjust the size as needed.
- Auto Cutout: Apply auto cutout to isolate yourself.
- Select Outline Effect: Choose your preferred outline effect.
- Adjust Outline Size: Set outline sizes:
- Top layer: size 30
- Middle layer: size 45
- Bottom layer: leave default size
- Cut Into Frames: Select all clips and make new cuts every few frames (command+B).
- Delete Frames for Effect:
