Preparation Strategy for J-2026

Introduction

1. Goal Setting

  • Determine your dream college (IIT, NIT, etc.)
  • Place a picture of your goal in your room
  • Clearly set your goal

2. Course Information

  • Print out the syllabus for J-Mains and J-Advance
  • All questions will come within the syllabus
  • Study according to the syllabus only

3. Preparation Strategy

3.1 First Phase: Lectures

  • Attend offline classes and understand well
  • Revise and practice properly at home
  • Take notes in online classes, don't take screenshots

3.2 Second Phase: Practice

  • Solve DPP, reference books, and PYQs
  • Order of questions: Revise questions solved in coaching, then solve examples, then solve exercises
  • Solve 10,000-12,000 questions, averaging about 70 questions per day

3.3 Third Phase: Previous Year Questions

  • Solve PYQs from 2013 to 2024 for J-Mains
  • Solve last 10 years' questions for J-Advance

3.4 Fourth Phase: Revision Techniques

  • Take out 1-2 hours daily for revision
  • Make a list of chemical reactions for Chemistry
  • Create handwritten short notes

3.5 Final Phase: Mock Test

  • Understand the direction of your preparation with mock tests
  • Take one or two mock tests weekly
