Prepare this setup. The gas produced by Hydrilla will be collected in the test tube. Expose the setup to bright light. Note any gas bubbles released from Hydrilla.
Leave the setup for 24 hours. Move the test tube carefully and stopper the mouth of the test tube. Test the gas in the tube with a glowing splint. Note whether the splint relights or not.
