Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Apply Fixation Tape

  • Action: Cut to length and stick on the front of the chest.
  • Direction: Wrap over the shoulder.
  • Tip: Rub at the back to secure.

Step 2: Apply Zinc Oxide Tape

  • Anchor: Stick a strip over the top of the fixation tape.
  • Bicep Wrap:
    • Wrap around the bicep.
    • Technique: Tense the bicep to prevent over-compression.

Step 3: Vertical Strips

  • Action: Stick vertical strips from bottom to top.
  • Technique: Pull the tape to lift the shoulder.

Step 4: Block External Rotation

  • Action: Tape from the back of the arm to the front of the chest.
  • Effect: Lower application increases restriction.

Step 5: Create an X Pattern

  • Action: Tape from front to back creating an X pattern over the shoulder.
  • Repetition: Repeat for a couple more strips.

Step 6: Apply EAB

Step 7: Re-anchor
