  • After Diwali, old diyas remain like this, but instead of throwing them away, they can be put to use.

Uses of Diyas

  • Ladybug and Mushroom: By coloring small and large diyas in their shape, you can create ladybugs and mushrooms.
  • Garden Decoration: They can be decorated in the garden by placing them on stones, pipes, pans, or cut bottles.

2. Covering Drainage Holes

  • Placing diyas on drainage holes prevents soil from exiting, only water flows out.
  • This maintains a good gap in the pot's soil.

  • Crush diyas coarsely and mix into the soil.
  • This makes the soil crumbly, preventing water from stagnating.
  • Good air flow is maintained, helping plants grow well.

4. Pot Stand

  • Make a stand with diyas for small pots.
  • Pots can be placed on diya pieces to create a stand.

5. Plant Growth
