Keyword Research and Listing Optimization Tips

everyone so last time where we had stubbed we'll continue from there and There Was You know the task for you to try what has been shown in the last session so were you able to do the keyword research till that point were you able to do with helium 10 and come to the point where you can take it to search frequency rank just before search frequency rank sfr were you able to do anybody who has done it any questions if you did it am I Audible hello yeah yes sir okay all right thank you but that's so um if anybody anybody has done or has any questions can ask now um for the keyword research or if you have done any other way if you want to talk about that we can discuss that as well so I'm assuming uh no questions so we'll take it uh forward from where we had stopped so I'm gonna take it uh I'll continue from where we had stopped okay so let me share my screen all right so uh I'm sharing my screen um let me just get all right so this is the point where we had uh stopped in the last session which was the keyword research using helium 10 and we had come to this stage where we had to pick up the search frequency rank part sfr now this sfr is important because we get a real data from Amazon so uh the Amazon Search terms uh the brand analytics data that we can download from uh brand analytics section usually has uh uh you know in Amazon India about uh 300 000 or 3 lakh searches so all these search uh queries or keyword phrases or Search terms that are there it usually have have about you know around 300 000 but in amazon.com uh it is like almost 3 million okay so like three million or so so amazon.com is like you know 10 times bigger than you can say Amazon India with respect to the query search queries that the people are putting okay so uh Amazon India uh we have only 300 000 and in our Google in our Excel sheet we can have up to one million rows so uh it's good that in Amazon India we don't have those many so I have downloaded the February month data here if I take it uh to the last you can see it is around uh 268 000 to 96 okay it's almost 2.6 uh eight lakh uh rows we have here so these are the search uh terms that the customers have put and as per Amazon they track all these searches and Friends premium adult dry pants so this keyword or search term or search query basically in whole of February was the you know the uh least searched as per Amazon so this search query or this search term or this keyword was least searched on Amazon as per uh you know this data that we have that is why it has the highest search frequency rank the rank is the highest and if I go back and look at the number one search frequency rank is choose so choose is search the most the search query for shoes term is the most so that's how the search frequency rank is which is opposite of you know in numbers if a comparison opposite of such volume so in search volume uh if we check maybe shoes may have about 10 lakh searches a month okay through helium 10 and all the other uh data that we have and uh friends premium adult dry pants maybe you know about 100 searches a month or 200 searches a month will be the least can you mute yourself thank you so this is the search frequency rank sheet a brand analytics sheet so this a is the monthly data we can also download weekly data okay and uh uh weekly data feed download then we'll get more uh you know recent data but uh I prefer it on a monthly basis now this sheet is very amazing there are a lot of uses that we can have for this sheet uh some people do keyword research just from this sheet okay those who are doing so there are different ways of doing uh sorry keyword research I am saying product research so there are a lot of ways of doing product research different people do it differently uh there is a very you know good method that can be uh used to do the product easy research using this sheet okay so there are a lot of ways that we can do this a lot of people are doing it so anyways for us now right now we'll be focusing on uh our keyword research so what we want to do is we want to ensure that whatever keywords we have got here for our product by picking these 10 relevant top zero products whatever keywords that we have here let's verify whether they are also as per Amazon you know they have some significance like whether Amazon is tracking them or not so if Amazon is tracking that means it will have some value okay so one sec okay so this is uh where we you know the purpose of doing is so that we get a more accurate data so this search frequency rank what we will be doing is I I'm gonna pick all these keywords and compare them with this sheet whether those keywords are present here or not so that's my purpose and if they are present my job is basically my intention is to find out the rank for that keyword that's what my intention is I want to find out the rank exact rank now if you have to do that manually it is going to take a lot of effort a lot of time if I copy this and then go over to this sheet and then control F and search for it then it's gonna you know take a lot of time okay the complete sheet and then it's gonna tell me that it's not there so that is one way of doing it other way of doing it I can use a vlooker formula okay so vlookup formula for that what I'll do is I'll create a new sheet I'll name it as let's say keyword KW and I will copy all these keywords that I have from my helium 10 keyword research paste them here then go back to this my brand electric sheet add a column here it is basically we can say a relevant keyword okay so we are looking for a relevant keyword so this one more column I have added and now I'm going to use the formula which is we look up this system that I have okay this system I want to check whether this search term is there in this sheet or not so this formula will help me to do so I'll select all these so what I've done is I've selected all the data here that I have and I want to fix them okay right now they are not fixed so with the dollar sign if you see I have fixed now the data will be fixed every time the keyword that we have in brow analytics sheet will be picked up each keyword whole over you know all of this data will be checked and then the result will be given so the formula says um you know next table arrays then column index so basically it is the first only one column that we want to you know check in and then it is false false is basically exact match okay so this is a Formula you can you know go in detail um if you want to understand the formula further and then I press enter so now I have done this for this first row so as per shoes is not presenting these that's why N A has come now I'm going to copy this for all the keywords so that it's easy for us to you know check it so I have copied this to all the keywords now and next I'm gonna do a filter here okay so I put a filter with this filter now I'm gonna remove all the nas okay so I don't want the NS because Nas are not for me so so I will not have any even this these three values if you see ignore them so I have unselected them and I only want those data here which is there in the sheet so now I've got only just that so filter is applied now next step is to copy all of this data that I have okay copy this data and take it to my keyword research sheet and create a sheet here maybe I can give it a name as let's say brand analytics so this is a brand interest data so I create a sheet ba and I copy all of this data which is relevant data now I have all those so now how many um 669 okay so six six nine rows I have that means six six eight keywords from this sheet which is having around 5000 keywords uh phrases these keyword phrases out of this in brand analytics we have about 669 so that is what the information we have got okay now what I'm gonna do next is I have this data next I have to do is out of this data now I want to compare it with this okay so this is a Next Level second uh search which is again basically a vlookup formula so I'm gonna do a vlookup again for this search term now and I'm gonna check it for all of this data so all of this data that means I have to select all of this data so now I have selected all of this I'm gonna fix them with dollar I fix them comma Now which row I am looking for okay so which row I'm looking for I'm looking for number two number two has sfr search we consider rank so I am looking for number two and I want exact match so now I've got a result here n a that means this particular keyword phrase is not present in this filter data that I have so I'm going to copy this now once I have copied all of this what I'm going to do is I'm going to put a filter here and sort them with search volume highest to lowest okay so I am going to sort them with highest to lowest now lot of these do not have a search volume that means as per helium 10 whenever they have checked the data they could not find any search volume or if it was it was nothing which they should have recorded So they have not you know they don't have anything so you see lot of search volume is empty now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna ensure that all of those that are empty okay blank I'm gonna select search volume for them and check whether those have any sfr rank or not lot of times we find that Amazon has tracked the keyword phrase okay Amazon is tracked and has assigned a rank here but helium 10 did not so whenever that happens that means helium 10 has missed out on those keyword phrases okay a lot of time our competition okay those who are doing this extra step of sfr they'll be able to find such keywords and we will miss on if you are not doing this extra step that is why this search frequency rank step is helpful so now I have what I've done is I have just checked I have checked whether Mt has any sfr or not no sfr that means these are these keywords are of not much use so for now uh you know what we are going to do is we can delete them from our keyword sheet okay so we can delete them from our keyword sheet and then remove the filter so whatever filter I have put on I've removed now you can see I have sorted with search volume so highest to lowest search volume and there is a search frequency rank next to it so 93 000 it has 11 000 searches but this 43 000 this is like 4000 rank okay this 33 000 is 22. so if you see as per Amazon Amazon is saying food scrubber is higher ranked but helium 10 is saying search volume is more for food scrubber for dead skin so now when I see something like this it means you know helium 10 data is not accurate here so for me I'll give more preference to sfr I'll look at sfr and then decide whether it is more searched or not because this is Amazon's actual data all right but anyways for now we have only what we need okay so the relevant data now so now with this I can see I will have a lot of Search terms as well which will as per if you see here okay helium 10 is saying this is 4000 uh you know search volume in a month silicon food scrubber made whereas as per Amazon nothing okay Amazon is not even having it in in its first 2.68 or whatever you know Amazon is tracking so for Amazon there is nothing but since helium is showing search volume so we'll keep this okay we will not remove this we'll keep this we'll let it be there so like now let's just check how many uh rows we've got so we have now 2800 Okay so we've got 2800 uh keyword phrases still with us now so this is my uh you know from 5000 I brought my keywords to 2800. now I have to further reduce this the goal is to take it to around 150 okay that is the goal 150 because with those keywords I can start 150 I can start with and once I do this proper keyword research it will I will not have to wait for Amazon data through campaign manager to you know get the data so I'll be able to have my own data and then I can also use campaign manager later on so I'll start you know in a better manner with this sfr as well as search you know search volume data now next step to basically see what we are trying to do so far is to shorten this data from 5000 we have come to 2800 so now next step further to shorten what we have to do is we will be looking at rank first Rank and top 10 this relevancy column that we had so we'll be using these columns now okay to filter the data we'll be using these columns to filter the data so what I'm gonna do is um I'll also check the search volume okay so let's say here I see single digit search volume as well 10 11 12 so all of this basically Which is less than 99 okay so for now it is less than 99 I'm looking at less than or equals to 99 I just want to say as per helium whichever is you know only searched three times a day okay 99 we can say three times a day three times a day as per helium 10 what is Amazon showing me so I want to check data as well so Amazon is showing not applicable so this that means Amazon is also telling me uh that helium 10 data is almost accurate at least for this uh you know search volume so now what I'm going to do is anything which is 99 or less possible that I may not be focusing on such keywords okay they they are not consistent keywords so I'll just try to delete them and see how many data how many rows I've got now okay so now I'm gonna check I still have 2200 okay so I still have lot of data now I'm gonna focus on these relevancy columns so I'll start with first page first page column that I have put so I'll put a filter here I want when I say I want to look at basically out of these 10 competitors that I have for every keyword I want at least they should be you know one out of these 10 should be on the first page that's what I want to achieve okay out of these 10 competitors that I picked I want at least one ace and one competitor of mine to rank on all of these keywords okay at least one should be ranking on all these keywords that I have so what I'm going to do is I'm gonna put greater than equals to 1. so the moment I do this you can see the list on the left corner from two to four six we have reduced to 691 so now I am at 691 rows okay now 691 is still a lot I want to further reduce this because I want to be around 150 okay so from top 100 sorry top 10 I'm gonna put the same filter one okay so now with this filter what I've done now I have 267 keywords which means at least one of the Asin is in top 10 for these keywords okay at least one is ranking in top 10 for these these keywords so that's the data now I have 267. now I have 267 so I'll just quickly check the search volume that you know how is the search volume so I have like 100 starting onwards and um I'm gonna just crawl up and check out of this okay so now I have around uh one thousand and above uh I have about just 40. okay so 40 keywords are just about uh for this uh 100 so what I want to do is now it can be subjective now here from here onwards it can be subjective you may want to do it greater than equals to first page greater than equals to 2 okay you could do that as well top 10 rank greater than equals to two Okay the moment you do this you have like 151 so you have 151 keywords now which is we are looking at but the problem with this is we have quite a lot which are just in hundreds okay so hundreds means they are not even searched in uh you know so if I look at more than thousand how many I have search volume only 19 keywords I have so what I'm gonna do is I'm not gonna go for 10 I'll stick with just one here also I'll stick just with one and then uh I have 267 results so with this since I have sorted my this search volume I will uh just check more than 300 300 and more that means at least 10 times that keyword is being searched on Amazon okay 10 times at least so this is 299 and above so this so from here I'll just look at the number of keywords so 139 if you see 139 count is showing that means I will go with these keywords okay so I'll just keep this one one and I'll go with these keywords so I'm gonna copy this data and create another sheet okay copy this data let me copy this again bring it to this sheet and just for reference we can give it a name we can give a name final that will be using this as a final keyword sheet for us okay now I have copied that data from there to here my formulas are all gone now okay whatever formulas I have they were here but here I have copied only the values so my formulas are gone so maybe I don't need all the formulas as of yet only few I need but still I have you know uh the number of rows 267 okay 267 so I'll just put a filter I'll just ensure that I want to delete anything if let's say greater than equals to sorry less than equals to if I have to look at uh less than equals to uh 199 we had already taken off uh 290 sorry 99 now I'm gonna take 1995 anything in uh you see from 199 I could find a sfr one value is there so that means this particular uh system Amazon is thinking uh it is not much but uh as per uh sorry helium 10 is thinking not much but as per uh Amazon this has some significance so I cannot get rid of this I will keep this okay but I'll delete rest of them so I'll delete rest of them so that I have uh not too much data to work on so all of this is the relevant and after this everything that I have is irrelevant because they don't have a search frequency rank so now I'm gonna clear all the filters and check the number of values I have so now I have about 200 okay so I have about 200 so 200 is also okay to go ahead with okay sometimes but sometimes it's not so 150 100 150 200 is subjective okay it's up to you how you want to do it um so now another thing is we can have this as our final sheet okay since we are around 200 so I'm okay with 200 keywords uh more or less like 204 so we'll keep this as our final sheet so this is my final sheet I'll change this formula just to get understanding that what is the total search volume of all the keywords that I'm gonna be depending on so it is 1 lakh 87693 okay so this is my search volume formula this is my relevancy formula and these are my competitors so now with this I can conclude that my keyword research so I will save this as my keyword research file and I assume that I've done my you know deep dive keyword research I can use this data to create the listing okay or to modify the listing if my listing is already existing I can also create campaigns using this data so all of this I can you know work upon now I'll also have to look manually now just to ensure anything which is not relevant to me okay anything which is not relevant to me so uh silicon like usually these one words they are like very broad okay they are not very relevant but I can see uh you know since it is a one word but I still have one competitor here which is number seven organically okay so if this competitor can rank on number seven that that means possible that once I am ready okay once I'm ready in terms of listing reviews you know pricing images all of that maybe I can also you know Target this but initially we'll be staying away with these you know one words that is why we have this column also to look at because these one words are usually very competitive very broad okay like another one here silicon different spelling okay so now this is my final keyword research only thing before I close this as my final research I will be looking at any brand Search terms here any brand keywords anything which is like a branded this is not a category where uh we may find branded but if it was something else let's say a shampoo okay or a conditioner so you know a lot of branding keywords will be there or anything like in a health supplement or anywhere where there is a brand domination there is possible that we may not be able to or we may be able to find a lot of you know branded terms but I don't think here we'll find much so we usually go through this all scanning quickly manually to looking at if there is anything which is branded okay so I'm assuming right now that there is no branded system okay and we can close this and we can save this as as our final keyword research sheet this is done okay our keyword research is done um any questions in this so far that we have done with respect to what we have covered before we move to the next step uh sir can we do this keyword research without helium 10 using brand analysis data without helium 10 it will be very difficult for us to do it because we just brand entrance data I will get this sheet okay this sheet I will get and this sheet then I'll be dependent on these search so I'll have to then uh you know check manually only then I'll have to enter manually maybe uh heal like that and then find out all the heal related keywords so it will be very difficult and time consuming so helium 10 or tools like helium 10 they usually help us just to get us you know a data and then we can match that data with the Amazon actual data okay yeah so helium 10 is costly a lot of other tools are there which can be used a lot of people share helium 10 so you can you know also work with others and share relent and if that is the case yeah any other questions yes right of course a problem foreign foreign [Music] foreign foreign exactly temperatures so it's like to catch a fish we have to put a net out there and then get whatever we can once we have everything then we are going to try and see which is giving us a result okay so system that is a separate part we'll be going over that as well so we'll be looking at search term as well we will be looking at other reports as well uh once we you know move forward and how to analyze those data as well so we'll be covering those as well but that is at a later stage once I have spent money search term is the data that I am getting after spending money so this is the data that I am getting without spending money if I have the helium 10 and brand analytics data it does that so I'm not spending any money to know uh you know get a idea at least I can get a very good 80 to 90 of idea which keywords I should be going ahead with uh whereas search some data that we are going to get is going to be all paid data that we have to spend you know money on to get those data J anybody any other questions especially new people if you don't ask you know a little bit difficult for you to you know get out of most out of this training okay all right so um we have our final sheet keyword research sheet now the next step is assuming that you know we are starting uh fresh if you are starting a fresh then we'll be writing our listing we'll be doing our listing now this listing uh writing is something that you have to practice okay it is not something that I can just tell you and you'll be able to do it even this part the sheet that we have prepared is a practice you will not be able to do it just by looking at it a lot of formulas and we are moving around here and there so uh next step is to you know pick this data and then get our listing ready okay so for that again we need helium 10 because there is a tool called as scribbles Frankenstein and scribbles in helium 10 that we'll be using let me log into helium 10 and show you the next area okay so first I'll go to Frankenstein now in Frankenstein what I'm gonna do is my final sheet data that I have keyword phrases I'm gonna copy all of this okay I'm gonna copy all of this paste it here put some filters okay I usually do these filters if you want you can take screenshot if you want to you know check them later but basically I do these filters there are different ways okay people do it differently some people do some different filter different way I just do this space I'm showing what I do it so there is no wrong or right it's up to the person that they do it so one word for is and these that's it and then I put this data into scribbles okay and then since we are in Amazon India I am gonna select Amazon India so now Amazon India I have selected and then this keyword that I have here there is a button called as apply which may not be visible yeah see this apply so I'm gonna press this apply now I have here two sections one words keywords and one phrases so all the words single words red color means High search volume as per helium 10 orange means medium green means quite less blue means very less and black will be like you know least so with the color they have coded the search value and same way phrases they have all the phrases as well so words and phrases same way they have done okay you can see all the keyword phrases that we have we have here so after Frankenstein we found 190s all those 190 are here so this is keyword phrases so we'll be focusing on keyword phrases words will only use when we'll be writing our backend substance okay otherwise all of it will be like phrases we will focus more on phrases okay now you can see copies use zero copy and use 190 so that means out of 119 nothing is used the moment will use one it will so your copy use one and that keyword will phrase will get you know strike through okay so now with this what we'll do is we'll start writing our title so I'll quickly show uh you know how we do our title so if it is the first time we focus on canonical okay so I'll just introduce you to canonical URL so this is basically this term canonical URL uh usually means that the first five words in okay the title the first five words in the title the first two three four five these five words I can you know Force Amazon to use them in my URL if I put a hyphen here okay so the first five words in so these are five words I put a hyphen and then I can have whatever I want in my title everything everything whatever you know I want to use that's it if I close my title here and list my product Amazon will be forced 99 times these four five words will be in my URL for example if I look at this our uh test this listing that we had picked you can see here they have a canonical this is what canonical is basically Accord silicon Hill pads comfortable so these five okay a chord is the brand name they have silicon Hill pads are this and then comfortable now since they only have four words and then the hyphen so what happened Amazon took these four and fifth Amazon randomly picked it from comfortable this word they could have picked this they could have picked this so anything they can put paid okay so if you want to force them to pick what we want them in the canonical we can you know design our title accordingly now why do we do this why what is the requirement the requirement is when somebody will search these okay what is there in the canonical if I search this on Google if I go to google.com I search this remove these you know uh just keep them as Accords if I do this you can see the first result that we get is the actual listing okay see the actual listing is uh on the top the first result and then rest of the results are coming now if imagine if this particular seller had used something which is like you know not no customer is going to search about silicon pads comfortable first of all they will not search Accord brand name will not be searched customer will be searching silicon heel pad you can see auto complete here silicon heat pack for shoes but our product is not for shoes for weight lift it is not for weight lift boots no in Pakistan planter facilities now this could be silicon Hill pads if I was this particular person who listed this title I would have used these five words one two three four five these because they are very relevant okay they are very relevant for my product unless they are not relevant I will not use okay if they are relevant okay I I don't know much but I know that this planter first it is this is some problem that usually you know flat feet or something like that so if they are relevant I would use so let's now assume that these are relevant so this will be my starting of the title I will use my I will make my canonical with this okay silicon heel pads plantar facilities and then I'll put a hyphen and then something something something and I'll continue my title like this now this is how I'll start my title because then I am forcing Amazon to use silicon heel pad and if they are then anybody who's gonna search siliconilpad even on Google they will have my product on top if I search now you can see somebody else's product is on top but if I do that quite possible I'll be like in top if not top maybe second top one top three and then I can get organic data of Google as well so it helps a lot okay so that is canonical URL I hope you have understood any questions in this before I delete this and move to next thing any questions so that's a good question uh what we suggest okay what we suggest is start your title with a canonical and then after a week change it after a week what I'll do is I'll remove you know these and I'll do this as my uh you know my my brand name like this I look once my canonically fix I can change my title after a week we usually come and change the title um there are scenarios sometimes Amazon is like very strict they don't allow to change title also uh but then most of the times like 99 times you are able to change the title if they are not allowing to change then we have to you know contact support and find ways but that usually not happens that like very unlikely something like that to happen Okay so we can use that brand name we suggest to use brand name but after a week I hope that answers uh hello sir uh just wanted to know yeah maybe we can start this or we go for some other ways to change keywords there is an existing distance like by this right now like this so now this this particular seller wants to change the canonical they can but it's just that you know it will be difficult to change they'll have to first change their title the way you know they want it and then contact Seller Support tell them that you know uh my canonical I want to change it is coming this I want it this way the way my present title is and then Seller Support it's up to them okay we have tried four or five times so far and they have approved three times uh to change once or twice I remember they did not approve so basically new listing it is easier but if you're using has grown little old then it will be become a lot difficult with time right not even old if you have listed it even if you want to change it after five minutes it won't get changed it will be it will be very unlikely so the first time only when you are doing it that is when you should do this canonical thing after that you know it's like you know Amazon once you have saved the listing submitted the listing Amazon will decide what is the canonical and it will be difficult to change will be different okay and if we if we plan to add another variation we can restart it yeah we can always add a new aeration a new addition is the newest in USA means new canonical option we have we can always set a canonical for that but most of the time uh when we start an Amazon our product so there's only one uh main variation that is uh popping up so organically when you look at your data so organic placements will be always only one listing will be visible if I have let's say three t-shirts blue black and red and so organically when somebody searches for a t-shirt let's say blue t-shirt for men and if I'm ranked most likely my blue t-shirt will be ranked because that's what people will be buying so my blue will be visible my red and black will not be visible okay when somebody is searching black t-shirt for men if I'm wrong then my black will be if my bank is whichever is highest ranked for the keyword will be visible only that in organic placements but if I want to make them visible in sponsored then I have to you know run ads separately on all of them for whatever keyword I want to run and it's up to Amazon to show for those keywords if you just wanted to ask suppose the question which has just my fellow mate said for example if we have four variations travel bottles for men third Covenant uh lightweight water bottles fourth Community portable water bottles for example my first question is a different URL they have a different URL uh Google for Google it is not uh you know variation for Google it's just different website it's a different URL so Google will uh you know pick that up as a canonical and will show organically how about Amazon foreign ah SEO every listing every essay will have its own SEO okay only thing is when it is to be looked at in organic results if they are in variation only one gets visibility if I want visibility for all I have to split them then only they'll be organically visible for four placements if I want more real estate split otherwise I can be you know in variation so if we have five variations so I can rank all other all itself on different different keywords which will give me a higher conversion rate and higher organic results it is little complicated uh let's say blue water bottle and there is a red water bottle let's make it simple two variation so blue water bottle only one of the variation will be visible whichever is higher rank on that keyword blue water bottle okay now there is another keyword red water bottle so for red water bottle only one of the variation will be visible organically whichever is higher rank among all the four Amazon will check whichever is higher rank for that keyword that will be visible options the same goes with uh sponsors um it's not logical um if you have a variation and you want to advertise all of them it's like you know you are wasting your money you ideally I wouldn't do that I'll only advertise all the variation uh only and only for their respective keywords let's say for example I have blue water bottle and red water bottle then 80 to 90 of the keywords will be same for both of them only keywords will differ color size and all of that so for only those keywords I'll be targeting the respective variation in my ads otherwise I'll be targeting whichever is my main hero product of the variation I should be only focusing on that if we are focusing on everything then our a cost is going to be high and we'll be spending a lot of money because then there is no use of putting them in a variation if you want to advertise all of them better separate them and then advertise so that they can rank individually 100 but uh like the way you said omnipresent strategies presence is more of uh you know sponsored product headlines such as organic video brand video that is more of our uh you know yeah so different ad types using different ad types sponsored video sponsored so the you know organic placement and all of that so that is more of organic instead of pushing all the variations I don't think it is uh worth pushing all the variations unless the keywords are you know specific to the particular variation okay got you but objectives but foreign as much as they should they have the policies but they don't enforce like a lot of you know um white background image for a lot of uh categories they have like you know they're lenient they let them people use uh colorful as well so save the title also um unless it is like a very specific category like a health and supplement or in some page Amazon has got a lot of control and you know uh there is not much issue my experience 99 of the time we are able to change the title one person wherever we are not able to when we contact Seller Support out of those one percent also 99 times we are able to solve it is only one percent time when we are not able to so what limited the possibility here that you know will not be able to change title otherwise most of the time we are able to change and it's just that you know we are creating for the first time putting canonical and then after some time we change it and um it it happens my experience it happens okay again Amazon uh keep changing their algorithm their you know policies and everything so uh Amazon is like very tricky but um as of now I believe I prefer this approach I do canonical and then I change after a week and it gets changed 99 of the times so highly prominent keywords yes you know I find this better I'm sure listing Builder has come new so I'm sure there will be lot of new functionalities which I have not explored yet so um distinct Builder is also good if they have come up with something new so it's up to the individual thank you so let's continue with this so one let's assume that our canonical is set and we want to you know do our title so one last question once your canonical is set you can you know remove the dash uh then there's no problem Focus okay so only initially when I'm setting my title for the first time only one dash throughout the title Dash should not be repeated first five words one dash and then all the keywords uh we can do okay so let's quickly look at the title let's pick the title of our competitor only uh or sorry this seller only and see uh if we look at the title I'll just use this for this example so the I I use this title here you can see uh I've got uh here use nine so that means this particular seller has used nine keyword phrases okay they have used nine keyword phrases uh so which which at least from our keyword perspective means it's a decent title they have written a decent title but I'm sure you know there will be lot of improvement uh it's subjective because I may find a title better and you may find a different title than the customer may find something better so all of that but anyways it says heel pad so I'll start with top okay most searched keyword heel pad for heel pin now I look at the product if this is my exact product heel pad for heel pin okay so now my product is actually heel pad for heel pain I don't know why this particular seller is not using this heel pad for heel pin so if I was this seller what I would do is I will go okay uh silicon heal pads one pair okay one pair free size somewhere I'll I'll use in the beginning this this keyword so I'll use heal pad for heel pin okay I'll use main keyword in the beginning or maybe I will use this as a canonical itself okay if I am starting once let's say I don't have a canonical because these are five words very perfect heel pad for heel you know pin or if I have my canonical set let's say if this is after I have my canonical is done then Accord brand name silicon Hill pads one pair I am giving one pair but now um I think it is uh the the title is not maybe correct it is not one pair they are giving three products so they have don't have that information in the title they should be updating uh I don't know why they as per a customer then I'll think only one pair will come out of all of this that I see so they have to correct their title but anyways um one pair three size I'll start with my the main keyword in the beginning heel pad for heel pin okay so it's then um and if I have a doubt okay so a lot of times you'll have a doubt so whenever I'm in doubt I pick the keyword I go to Amazon .in I'll go to keyword and I'll check the keyword okay I will check the keyword and I'll see that what is it showing what kind of a result is it showing is it something which is uh actually relevant to my product if yes then I will pick it up and use it so just to ensure if I'm using it I'm gonna put this heel pad for heel pain and see what kind of results are coming okay now sponsored brand ad is irrelevantages some other product okay but if I see here this is coming this is coming sponsored but organic this is coming and these shoes so that means yes we can use this product and anyways this product is organically ranked number four for this keyword okay and now I'll also look at my keyword sheet just to check that this keyword that I have used heel pad for heal pin how much uh traffic will this bring me so it has 10 000 searches so that means a lot of searches this has plus while writing title this column is very important title density okay so let me explain title density as well this title density says basically out of the first page results how many are using this keyword phrase in their title that's what a title density is okay that means heel pad for heel pain is used by eight sellers on first page so first page has 48 results okay here 48 results so out of 48 8 are using this keyword phrase okay now out of those eight uh you know we heel pad for if you check here you'll be like a heel pad heel pad for heel pain you will be able to find it there will be people who will be using it manually it takes a lot of time but here we can easily see this keyword is being used by eight people okay now here this keyword is only used by one only one seller is using in the first page food scrubber for cracked heels okay food scrubber so now if I want to know whether my product is applicable to this or not I can just go to helium 10 and see here like food scrubber yeah so this keyword is also there so if I want to check I'll just copy this and I'll go and you know uh I'll check on Amazon that what kind of a result are we getting are they similar to you know mine so now this is different product okay it's like a scrubber so it's a different product so I should not be using it though there is one person who's there coming quite often a top in organic results but still this is not relevant okay this is not relevant so we should not be using it's a different product so we will bypass this second keyword so we'll be using this one heel pad for heel pain but we'll bypass the second and then we'll see crack Hill repair machine so it's not a machine I'll bypass this keyword silicon socks for women yes I am selling a socks okay this is my product this is the socks that I'm selling so this is the socks and it is quite high on the search results silicon shocks that means 4000 search volume metal density only one only one seller so again there is a scope if it is only one that means maybe I should be using it in my title because my competition is not using it so I can see heel protector with silicone socks so this person already using silicone socks but they are coming in orange orange color that means they are down below okay they are down below so they are not much helpful okay so maybe I can use uh silicone socks for women here itself okay if I want to but then again I have to look at relevancy as well if I put this silicone socks for women is it possible that I'm I'm you know focusing only on women can that message go to my customers or not so all of that you have to see plus spelling mistake also now silicon spelling is it silicon without e here so this is a spelling mistake should I be using that in my title or not okay so maybe I'll pass it because it's a spelling mistake I'll not use this anyways I'm using here silicon socks for women okay so this I will maybe I'll pass this because it's a spelling I don't want to use a spelling mistake in my title so like this I'll be drafting a title and ensuring I do it 100 and sorry 280 under 280 uh I am doing my title now in Mobile the title usually is like you know 90 characters so my first 90 characters will be very important so I have to also look at that you know my main information about the product is being shown in my first 90 characters because in Mobile people will be looking at the results when they search on Amazon like here we can see around 130 keywords okay if I quickly check this and go to character uh count okay if I go to character count character count here 93 so it is showing me 93 so in desktop 93 in Mobile also something similar like 80 85 1993 so my first character's first title initials have to be very very important so here I have to ensure that my main for example if I was selling it's a pack of three so if it is pack of three though it is visible on Mobile screen the image also three but I also want to enforce it in my uh my title so instead of putting pack of three what usually people put here at the end okay pack of the reason uh I'll I would try to do it in the beginning okay instead of one pair I may put this as pack of three free size so now in the beginning itself a customer would know my brand name they'll know the main keyword for the product okay silicon heel pads uh back of three okay pack of three now I don't think silicon Hill pad it's in orange color it should be here rather we should be using this nail pad for heel pin okay this should be coming in the beginning instead of this so if you have to improve if this is let's say let's have product if you want to improve the title for this this is how we'll do it Accord heel pad for heel pain pack of three free size okay now this is how I'm gonna start my um uh main information and I'll remove this pack of three from here so that my important information which is which is very important for my click-through rate CTR okay very important for my click-through rate I should be showing in the beginning Image First beginning of the title all of these are very important for CTR so I should be showing that so like that I'll be writing my title and going over keyword phrases one by one and I'll have a goal of at least having five keyword phrases in my python I usually do that five keyword phrases here we are able to do nine but I would at least do five if I am able to do nine good at least five okay and also on the same time manage make the title readable it should not be as keyword stuff keyword stuff title okay it should be a readable for a customer it should be a readable and making sense okay so to make it readable we usually also have to mention the benefits in the title maybe the main benefit or a feature of the product in the title along with these keywords okay so like this we can write a title uh this is very Broad and subjective how to write a title it is not you know no right or wrong way only if I focus on these keywords I should be able to use five keywords from the top I start relevant okay only the relevant the biggest mistake people do is they use broad keywords in their title I never use broad keywords never ever use broad keywords because if you use broad keywords your auto campaigns will spend a lot of money okay whenever you are going to run your auto campaign in the beginning later stage you will spend a lot of money plus Amazon listing is very important the way we write our listing okay Amazon gives importance to the listing the moment we write a listing Amazon will scan when I submit my listing for the first time Amazon algorithm is going to scan me for all the keywords and index me for all the keywords and if they see me like you know uh everywhere okay going here in there it will be difficult for me to rank okay on those keywords so it is better that you know I am very structured focusing on main areas like water bottle instead of focusing on traveling water bottle and you know portable water bottle hot and cold water bottle it is better to start with you know something that I think my product is most related to what is the main USB around that I will build my listing once I built my listing then slowly I'll improvise you know with time I will try to see okay if I have to from hotel gold can I go to traveling as well or you know portable uh carry bag and all of that so that's how we write our title uh uh only thing is a wide broad keywords okay don't use broad keywords in your title so that's the title I think it is very subjective you will be able to do it once you write yourself okay and then once let's assume you have done our title okay let's see if this is our title 198 keywords we can assume this is the title we can for now we can say it's a let's say final title so once we have a final title we move to the uh bullets while writing the title I avoid repetition of the keywords as well like for example I can see socks socks socks so socks is being repeated multiple times okay I don't think you know a customer would like you know something like this so this is something that we can fix instead of using socks again and again and again I should use socks only maybe once maximum twice not more than that okay possible that my product product is heal protector heal pad heel pain maybe heel will repeat okay because it is something related to heal but uh socks is something you know I'm repeating again again because out of three only one is socks press three I should be looking at so these are the things that are usually look at while writing title but most important is the broad keyword avoid broad keywords okay so that is the title bullets and uh systems and description okay uh bullets and description uh it's good that we have chat GPT now I don't know whether you use it or not but uh to write bullets I use stat GPT okay I use studypt and then I modify my bullets little bit I use all the keywords I try to put at least one or two keyword phrases in every bullet okay whatever bullet I have written I will use uh through chat GPT I'll try to bring in one or two keyword uh into every bullet uh one or two keyword phrases and then same product description also product description uh once I have a plus it is not visible in most of the categories it is still visible for some but for most it is not visible so there also I put a lot of keywords every one paragraph I'll try to use one keyword whichever is left over and then search terms uh we do it from these from here we do search term okay so this is how we do our listing I'll be going in the detail in next session uh if you want me to do bullets I can show charge GPD few prompts I have kept for myself that I use for chart GPD for for a lot of you know text information we use chargpt in our agency for some problems and small small you know tricks and tips that we have picked up from experts who have written about chat jpt so we use those to write our listing detail and then we make changes based on our keyword research that we see here okay so what we have discussed so far is the title uh the brand analytics part search we can see rank scribble bringing it here and then avoiding broad keywords in the title and repetition avoid that I think we have done till title we'll be picking up from next session tomorrow from bullets we'll finish bullets I'll show you in chat GPT if you want me or we'll skip this okay it's up to you you can tell me what we want to do it in description as well and then search terms will quickly finish our listing and then once our listing is ready we'll move to the next step which is um uh getting little detail about the creatives okay we will discuss the creatives and then once you have discussed the creative we'll move on to the next part which is the campaigns okay to look at the campaign so any questions in today's session whatever we've discussed anybody has any questions thank you no problem anybody else any other questions and the bullets repeating the keyword you can but there's no point repeating a keyword once the keyword is there Amazon system is smart enough to pick it up okay so there is no uh Point repeating but if we have to it is very relevant very important keyword then we want to repeat it uh maybe once in title once in bullet or somewhere then we can foreign support and sometimes it happens um out of I think I must have worked or if I worked on let's say 1000 listings so far uh only once I have experienced this where keyword indexing was a problem otherwise again it is like you know very minute possibility of having a keyword indexing issue if we have a keyword of hot and cold water bottles so if I put this keyword anywhere let's suppose uh whether it's in title whether it's in bullet or whether it's in Search terms so if I put any if I put this uh hot and cold water what is it any anywhere so I'll be getting ranked oh sorry I'll be getting in text in the Amazon foreign okay okay foreign possibility for us to you know have some issues like this possible but uh foreign so that will not be part of this semi can confirm you can check with him okay whether it will be covered or not okay no more questions okay so recording will be shared uh it usually takes some time to generate the recording whenever it is ready we'll share in the group if tonight tonight or tomorrow we'll share it uh and then tomorrow we have a session we'll connect and we'll pick it where we have left okay okay sir thank you all right thank you so much thank you thanks
