is my LinkedIn inbox every single message looks the same boring lengthy written messages that do not capture my attention in order to execute this strategy all LinkedIn that nobody else is doing you need to be a first degree connection with a prospective buyer if you aren't a first degree connection send over a blank connection request yes the flat connects request on LinkedIn with no message has the highest conversion to getting accepted by a prospect LinkedIn sales Navigator isn't needed but if you have LinkedIn sales Navigator when you're searching for leads to send a blank connect request to make sure you toggle posted in the last 30 days these are prospects that are active on LinkedIn if they're active on LinkedIn there's a higher chance they're going to accept your connection request because they're going to see it when a prospect accepts your LinkedIn connection request in two to three business days go to their profile on the LinkedIn app on your smartphone and click message once you click message in the bottom right hand corner you will see a paper clip click it that's going to provide six options click take a video this is going to open up a recording screen for you to record a one-to-one personalized video prospecting message to that prospect on LinkedIn you will have up to 60 seconds to record shoot for 30. here's an example of what to say in a potential video John I noticed you folks are growing like crazy 62 new job openings on your website awesome stuff and based on your LinkedIn it looks like John you're the person responsible for getting devices set up for new employees at onboarding open to learning about a few ways that might not be on your radar to get new devices set up within a couple minutes where nobody on your team for you for example has to physically touch a device ever again to get it set up for an employee John appreciate you watching the video have a great day no need to start the video by saying hey John my name is Matt John could see my name is Matt because Matt McNamara is listed right above that message so if I started the video by saying hey John my name is Matt that's a waste of time start the video with an observation whether it's on the company website they work for or their LinkedIn profile some sort of observation personalization that you could tie back to a problem problem that you solve that video message is going to immediately stand out because I'm betting that John's LinkedIn inbox is all lengthy boring written spammy salesy messages he's not getting a video message like this and if John doesn't respond to my video message in two to three business days I'm gonna send a written message and say something as simple as looks like my video completely missed the mark that right there is a great follow-up to elicit a response if you're camera shy if you do not like seeing yourself on camera this might not be the strategy for you but a different strategy that will immediately stand out in a LinkedIn inbox is a voice note so if you go into a LinkedIn profile if you click message in the bottom right hand corner you will see a microphone where you can record a voice note and send that to a Prospect I would send the same exact message that I sent via video over as a voice note again prospects are not getting a voice note they're not they're getting written messages guys this has a 40 conversion rate if they actually listen to it because they have to be active on LinkedIn to even see this as a 40 conversion rate to a meeting 40 nobody else is doing this start executing this strategy right now and once you get prospects on the hook watch this video right here it's my complete Discovery script from start to finish that has gotten me to a 40 close rate in 2023. thanks for watching guys we appreciate it
