[Music] now we're going to talk about the Rochester method it's the sign for it this was used a long time ago when signing and using gestures was not permitted it was fingerspelling the first school to use the Rochester method was in Rochester New York and that's why they called it the Rochester method unfortunately 70 years later you don't see this anymore this sign system can you imagine fingerspelling entire sentence or more now it wasn't slowly you know letter for letter it was a very fluid way to sign but like I said it's not used anymore
