  • Management: Working in the business, creating expectations, execution.
  • Must excel at both for accountability to be a natural byproduct.

Five Leadership Practices

    • Share compelling vision by answering 8 questions (Core Values, Core Focus, 10-year Target, Marketing Strategy, 3-year Picture, 1-year Plan, Quarterly Rocks, Issues).
  2. Providing Necessary Tools: Ensure your team has the tools and resources they need, including your time and attention.
  3. Letting Go of the Line: Empower your team by delegating and allowing them autonomy.

Five Management Practices

    • Using Quarterly Conversations for deeper, more strategic discussions.
  4. Holding Quarterly Conversations: Face-to-face meetings to build relationships and discuss what's working/not working in terms of core values, roles, and rocks.
    • Use the People Analyzer tool to assess core values and GWC.
