Every single day, without fail, we engage in specific activities that have become ingrained as habits. They can be helpful or harmful. And everyone has their own. We have already talked about many of them on my channel. But let me share with you some of my simple and effective habits and principles that greatly contribute to improving my overall quality of life. They will make your life brighter if you include them in your life. First Digitize your life. For the past couple of years, I have transferred all important elements of my routine into a table format and other applications for tracking, monitoring tasks, habits, and so on. Memory problems are common for everyone, especially considering how much time we spend online and how many tasks we face every day, a person may forget subtle but very important things. For example, every day of mine includes its own to-do list. If I need to remember something important, I always make sure to jot it down. That's why I make sure to schedule it on my to-do list for a specific day, week, or month. Each time I plan a trip, I meticulously organize a detailed checklist of essential items to pack, reservations to make, and documents to gather. If I am recording a video, I always have a shot list that needs to be executed. If I take tests, I record them in a separate table and monitor the dynamics of important indicators. I am into sports, I record measurements of my body and weight. I do all this in Google Sheets and Notion, in Google Calendar, so as not to forget birthdays and also keep track of other trackers there. And I always diligently write down every insightful thought or creative idea in my notes. This habit has become my indispensable digital supplement, and sometimes serves as a backup of my memory. Thanks to this habit, I remember better what tasks I need to complete, my health status, and important details I shouldn't overlook. I doubt that you remember every day what your cholesterol level is, what vitamins you took, and who you congratulated on their birthday. This may seem unnecessary while you are young, but as you get older, you have more acquaintances, colleagues, more responsibilities and tasks, and it greatly simplifies life. Approach tracking tasks with moderation, avoid obsessiveness, and don't list every activity daily, especially in extreme situations like taking a tracker to the toilet. It is enough to plan the task for the week and gradually complete them. French: Comment ça Write down your set of rules and principles. It's hard to call it a mere habit; rather, it's a comprehensive lifestyle approach, nonetheless. I began to notice that after experiencing specific events in life, my perception of familiar actions or individuals underwent a noticeable transformation. And he always changed for the better for me, evolving positively. That's why I thought, why not transfer all the principles from my head to paper and create my own constitution. Of course, writing something like this is more of an extravagance, but think about it. What are your desired life rules and principles? Which of these experiences make your life better? You probably already know or feel that you need them, but for some reason you are not living by them. I will start. In my list, never lie. In childhood, I lied a lot to my mother about little things, and told my friends tall tales where I was almost killed or hit, just to get their attention and words of support. At one pivotal moment, it got so far that my very first conscious rule in life became to always speak the truth and uphold honesty. So, it is true, life is simpler. A lie is a very fragile construction. And according to this - not to allow lies to oneself. Do not allow yourself to be used, do not associate with toxic people, confidently say "no" and defend your desires, goals, and boundaries. Never smoke, drink, or engage in harmful activities. In general, everything that should be an unwavering rule in your life and why you need to follow it. This makes your boundaries stronger and your discipline levels more consistent. After all, if one of my fundamental rules is to never smoke and excessively drink, then why should I even consider trying a cigarette, puffing on a hookah for social reasons, or getting intoxicated during celebrations just because others may indulge in such habits? Continuous self-improvement and learning are key principles. Stagnation and degradation are antonyms to a full life for me. And that's why I always strive to learn something, to read something. Beneficial for the brain and of interest to me. Life holds promise. Many people try themselves in IT professions or even create their own startups, which is impossible without knowledge in development. To acquire them, I recommend taking the Full Stack Python Developer course at Skill Factory. A Full Stack developer creates both external and internal product components. Skilled in website, app, and bot creation, he is highly sought after in the job market, commanding an average salary of 200 thousand rubles. In this course, you will learn how to write code in Python, the most popular programming language. It is easy to learn and is used almost everywhere, from games to neural networks. And of course, there will be a lot of practice. You will create 10 of your own projects, from simple games to full-fledged services. I stopped lying. Elevating the principle for detailed discussion as a separate point. As I mentioned earlier, during my childhood, I tended to exaggerate things in order to seek additional attention, which I felt was lacking due to a lack of parental involvement. By the way, we will talk about this very soon. Turn on notifications and also subscribe to Telegram so you don't miss out. The establishment of this principle taught me not to hide uncomfortable truths, including from myself. Do not ignore the source of the problem, but change my attitude towards myself and replenish my resources independently. Taking responsibility for one's actions, words, and their consequences is responsibility, without involving others in one's problem. So many people around are afraid to hurt others' feelings, and therefore do not consider their own. Trying to postpone the inevitable conversation, feeling embarrassed, outright refusing, or hiding the uncomfortable truth for years, you deprive yourself of energy and strength. And who will ultimately benefit from this senseless self-sacrifice? Sincerity will make life easier. Summary: You avoid making excuses or creating endless alibis for others, and you are unafraid of making mistakes. You live for yourself and embrace living freely. Therefore, I highly recommend that you become completely honest, open, and sincere in all your actions. First and foremost, in relation to one's own well-being. Fourth. I have bad habits. The video was pointless, so switch it off and unsubscribe. No. Some falsely perceive terms like dopamine detox, self-improvement, and my words as advocating for a ban on life and any form of entertainment. But that's incorrect. Giving up social media, fast food, and sugar indefinitely is unnecessary; moderation is key. If something in my life does not violate my principles and does not spoil it, then it is used as an additional element. So even though I don't smoke or drink, there are days when I can indulge in a juicy burger, grab a refreshing soda, engage in gaming sessions with friends for hours, and feel an uplift in my overall well-being. But only if it's an addition, not a permanent lifestyle. When this happens consciously and intentionally once every couple of weeks, they gradually morph into a detrimental daily addiction. When we do not abuse it. Everyone has a different philosophy, but mine is about quality and freedom, and any dependence on this is the opposite. Fifth - I set restrictions on social media. I'll use a black and white filter in the evening to avoid getting distracted by colorful videos on the feed. We have long stopped living in a world where social media and entertainment were just a wonderful addition to our real life; they have become integrated parts of our daily existence. People are increasingly spending more time in the virtual world than the real one. Our environment is increasingly captivating. I consider this a substantial and pressing problem that will continue to impact us for decades and future generations. People's average screen time is on the rise. And no matter how anyone denies it, people have become more difficult to concentrate. It's harder to watch long videos, movies without dynamics, not to mention books. And time in silence without a phone and short videos causes stress. It's not difficult to guess that addiction is harmful to one's well-being. Therefore, my task with such restrictions is not just to limit myself in pleasures, but also to reminisce and cherish how I used to wholeheartedly enjoy them before. The pleasure we get from scrolling through social media feeds is mostly artificial and fleeting. Notifications also follow this principle. At night and before sleeping, I disable all phone notifications, so I only check messages from friends in the morning. But everyone knows that in case something urgent arises, they can always reach out to me. I'm listening. Dude I'm naked now Sixth. Manage social media. And no, this does not contradict the previous point. People have undergone a complete change in their ideas. Social networks are not bad. Excessive empty scrolling of the tape - that's what's bad. Why did we used to create pages on social media? To communicate and share our common moments of joy and connection. And now all social networks have turned into eternal sales, storytelling, a bunch of experts, and no soul. I have Instagram for work as a blogger, but I also use it personally for my own enjoyment and connection with friends and followers. I show glimpses of my life, sharing photos and stories from adventures, with close friends who may be unfamiliar to my audience, to preserve cherished memories. After all, this is essentially a free storage. I haven't saved as much on any external drive as I have in the archives of stories on Instagram. And I'm not saying that you need to constantly post something or live with your phone, recording everything and not enjoying the moment of "I'm posting this right away." This is actually extreme. I regularly monitor her activity on social media during the day. If I do film anything, I do it in the background, as if documenting my life. If I were to publish, it would be at the day's end. Again, just to digitize and preserve this memory. Profile visibility options: public for all or private for friends only. Social networks were once incredibly valuable platforms until their primary objective shifted to capturing and retaining your attention for extended periods. So let's utilize them for our benefit and cherish our memories. Seventh. Taking risks and moving beyond comfort. Each individual harbors their own unique fears and dreams, understanding that personal growth necessitates confronting challenges and uncertainties, even though they are daunting. That's the truth. Everything must be paid for. Any growth is associated with fear, suffering, and difficulties. It will be difficult for you to move to another city, it will be difficult for you to make new acquaintances, but in the future, looking back on the past, you will understand that it all paid off and made you a new and strong person. In this life, if you are not willing to take risks and overcome fear, you are not ready for life. And yet people have different levels of risk and fear. For someone, it's about starting to learn a new craft, opening their own business, going on a long-awaited trip, or even just going for a walk alone or meeting a girl. The situation is now beyond fantasy. And another universal truth is that as soon as you start actively engaging in a task, it ceases to feel as challenging or arduous. We are often told that everything in this life is difficult, nothing is so simple, not so straightforward. Realizing life is complex and challenging as you learn from mistakes, the illusion of simplicity fades away as you take your initial steps. This illusion quickly crumbles under the weight of actions, revealing the truth. And so, I highly recommend that you push yourself to try new things more frequently, immerse yourself in awkward situations, embrace failures, endure challenges, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. After all, this is how a strong personality is formed, contrary to utopian expectations. Eighth. I have learned to love. A couple of years ago, I believed that love should only be between two partners, so I rarely told my loved ones that I love them. What to say about friends. But love is something much more. This is exactly the feeling that fills our life with color. When was the last time you truly expressed your love to your mom? When did you say this to your best friend who has been with you through all the problems and crises? Expressing love may not be worthwhile for everyone, as enduring social connections require testing over time. But what I mean is, don't confine yourself to any limits, allow yourself to feel and love. And most importantly, don't ever forget to show Love with kind words and compassionate actions towards yourself always. After all, you are your most important support. It all starts with her. Let go of resentment and anger towards others. Be selfless, kind, and compassionate to those around you. After all, filling yourself with exactly that energy will make life feel a hundred times more pleasant. The ninth. I am keeping a schedule. Time and task management has become an essential and effective tool in planning my day, organizing work tasks, and leisure activities. But in my case, the schedule is often conditional, it can include several tasks by time, it can be empty on the weekend, or it can be scheduled for the whole day if there are a lot of tasks. Some people falsely assume it to be the correct daily schedule often. I don't like when the schedule is planned minute by minute without breaks, I prefer to make it more flexible. And overall everything else becomes meaningless if the main sleep schedule is significantly disrupted. Without energy, you won't be able to do anything, that's why I try to stick to it very strictly, going to bed and waking up at the same time. Sometimes I have busier days with late nights due to extra work, plans, or meetings. In such moments, the stability of the regime and the quality of sleep are disrupted, but it can and should be easily restored. For example, to fall asleep quickly, I started using a cool meditation called yoga nidra, it relaxes me perfectly before bed. This beautiful day has come to an end. It's time to freeze. I listen to this and many other meditations through the Telegram bot Sleepy. I have already told many times how he helped me improve my sleep and I sincerely recommend him again. But unlike many apps, Sleepy is not just about meditation. This is a full 30-day sleep improvement program, during which you will implement 15 of the most effective techniques to enhance its quality. I fully trust the Sleepy app, as it is developed based on 400 scientific studies and approved by a sleep doctor, whom you can ask questions for free. Sleepy sends daily articles to help understand sleep topics thoroughly and smoothly. Message conveniently in a familiar messenger. Using Slipe, I noticed improvements already in the first week, like 93% of users, and there are already more than 60 thousand of them. Slipi will be useful not only for those who have trouble sleeping, but also for those who simply want to improve its quality and become more productive. "He will assist for sure." So follow the link in the description or scan the QR code and go through the program with me. Discount of up to 65% activated for first 200 people. Activate the sleeper for the discount now and go back to the video to secure the offer. And so I recommend adding recurring regular events to the calendar of your phone to make it easier to plan your day or simply not forget about important things. Make sure to jot down all upcoming events on your calendar and allocate specific timeframes for each one as needed. Or at least set helpful reminders. And also make sure to get enough sleep. It is precisely the problems with it that cause apathy and depression in most people. Tenth. I solve problems. To someone this may seem banal, but tell me, what kind of relationship do you have with your parents? Are you in a relationship and how do you resolve conflicts? The huge problem with people is that even though we speak the same language, we don't know how to communicate at all. Many unresolved conflicts and hidden grievances persist among people. I have established a principle for myself - no problem should remain unsolved. If there is a conflict in our relationships, in a conversation with a friend or loved one, we wait for the emotions to calm down and resolve the conflict through dialogue on the same day. Failure to address these issues could lead to the destruction of important assets and strengths. Due to not sharing his grievance with his mother, the child will begin to avoid communicating with her. Partners might grow distant due to unaddressed dissatisfaction and lack of compromise, leading to drifting apart. A person needs to learn not to avoid, but to listen, understand, and be able to speak. And by the same logic, I do not communicate with people or relatives who are unpleasant to me, or minimize communication with them if, for example, a person is unable to engage in dialogue and does not respect my personal boundaries. I did not become a bad person because I do not communicate with some toxic distant relative, but my mental health remains intact. Never leave conflicts unresolved and do not allow individuals who are not prepared to address conflicts to enter your space, as their presence will only deplete your energy and disrupt your life with unnecessary turmoil. Once upon a time, in I see good in life. Our brain, or rather our consciousness, always seeks confirmation of what you are saying or inventing. If you constantly dwell on the negative aspects of the world and your own value, fixating solely on the bad, that negativity will be all you perceive. You will even stop noticing how your actions unconsciously lead you to this. It seems like you want changes, but you only think of yourself in a negative way. And then you don't understand how to deal with procrastination, why I'm constantly feeling lazy and unmotivated. The issues are linked. And overall, your whole life will turn into reinforcement of what you seek. Yes, there is a lot of instability and evil in the world, but everyone will see shit. And if you try to find something good, you will be surprised how much of it there actually is, you just ignored it. We always attract similar energies. This applies to people, this applies to problems. Focus on the negative, and everything around you will be negative, and people around you will all be negative. Focus on the good things in life, and your days will be brighter. Get used to the challenges life throws at you and stop wasting your precious energy on futile escapades or derogatory remarks about the gift of life you've been granted. Doce. I am evaluating my life. I value not only my wealth, but also my time and my life, considering them equally important. I talked in my financial literacy training about the accounting table, and there I initially made a joking analysis - how much my day, my hour costs. And as soon as the jokes about prostitution from friends ended, it acquired an important practical meaning. In this table, I can clearly analyze the value of my time by comparing it with my income. You can get a free download of the helpful and customizable table from the description link. Based on it, I make decisions like "it would be more logical to go by metro or by taxi", eat at a cafe with high markups or cook food at home. Maybe I am actually living at a loss of my time, spending all the money for lunch during the work day. And in fact, for many decades, I have not earned or saved any significant amount. But it's not just about money, although this approach will help deal with unreasonable spending. Events in my life also have their own different value and are subject to analysis. Useful learning experiences, enjoyable moments, exciting trips, quality time with family and friends are not only valuable investments but also truly enriching, benefiting both my present well-being and future prospects. Investment, memories, and experience. Pointless scrolling through the feed, constant gaming, unhealthy lifestyle choices are worthless and detrimental to my life. "Discussing abuse once more." I reward myself for benefits and penalize myself for harm. I may choose not to purchase a game I like or reduce my discretionary spending. This approach helps me track and appreciate the richness of life's benefits, the diversity of experiences, and the genuine pleasure each day brings to me, enriching my perspective. They purposefully create a false illusion in which a majority of you live. 13. I value experiences over possessions. You know, I have very few things, I always wear the same clothes, I have few friends, and my whole life is surrounded by the idea of minimalism even in pants. This is a joke, please don't believe it. The primary focus of my life is on creating meaningful emotions and lasting memories. I never wanted to clutter my head, heart, and my home with meaningless things and trinkets. I only buy what I can afford to buy again in case of unexpected damage or breakage. Why should I have something that will cost me more than my time, health, and peace of mind in general? Some people prioritize branded gadgets and clothing over everything else, which I find perplexing. Arguing with loved ones over trivial matters is something I can't comprehend. The thing is meant to be used regularly. She should serve you, not you her. The fourteenth. I am focused on my life. Many of you really enjoy looking at other people and thinking about how little you have achieved compared to them. But it shouldn't matter to you who is better, because you will never see the whole picture clearly. I do not pay attention to someone else's experience if they are not able to teach me something. People often embellish or even invent other people's destinies, label them, and devalue their achievements - He was lucky, he was helped, just to justify the lack of their own achievements and results. Even if someone's start in life was easier than yours, what does it matter to you personally? You are living your life, And in it there is only you, your perseverance and belief in yourself. And the fifteenth - never give up, persevere always. If I have a clearly defined goal and direction in life, there is no turning back or wavering from my path. I will not settle for less, and I don't care how much time and effort it will take to achieve it. If you don't give up, learn from mistakes, keep trying, and persist, then eventually everything will work out. And it's much better than condemning yourself to a life of regret over missed opportunities. If there is meaning in life, it's definitely not about giving up. And to subscribe to the channel and telegram via the link in the description. And make your life significantly better and happier. And therefore be happy. And all the best.
