it's been almost 4 months since we last updated the doomfist bug list and it's been long overdue we tested all the bugs we can replicate on the list and we found a few hidden fixes that were not listed in the patch notes number one they brought back slam cancel hop Tech if you landed slam previously if you did this Tech The Hop wouldn't take you that far if you landed your slam but now this got fixed so now when you do the slam cancel hop while Landing your slam you actually get the full distance number two because of the April 16 patch we believe this fixed some other bugs related to life Weaver pedal and elevators previously when you aled on a pedal or elevator this is what the interaction would look like you can kind of see how this screws you over this is what the new interaction looks like which is much better for doomfist number three I couldn't find this one in the patch notes but it seems like they tighten the timing of the staming mechanic when it comes to break bash and doomfist punch it still needs more fixing but it is an improvement at least number four previously if life Weaver used pull or if Rizo used your ultimate as you were using meteor strike you would actually get pulled while going into your ultimate we leave this got fixed as we were struggling to replicate this book they either tightened the timing or completely fixed it if you come across this interaction with Lisa old or lifeo let me know on Discord or twitch number five many of you know about the camera lock issue on Doom slam where it locks too early and I believe I may have figured out why it was introduced now I don't have any death confirmation as all a theory a game theory this is really difficult to explain so I'm going to try my best this clip I'm going to be showing you is an old clip this is how Doom slim worked before the early camera lock was introduced you can see that when Doom do for slams he attaches to the map geometry and is able to turn his camera as he is slamming but you can see the problem where my slam is not registering on the soldier now the reason why I think this happens is because the moment Doom attaches to the geometry this is where his actual slam comes out so that means the first person visuals is incorrect when we watch it from the soldier 76 point of view you can see where the real slam comes out this is what it looks like when I try to replicate it now you can see that my camera locks and I'm unable to turn my camera which doesn't allow me to replicate this issue anymore so instead of making the first person visuals correct with his slam animation they decided to ship the timing of the camera lock to prevent you from turning your camera and executing a fake noed slam which may have been the reason why you've noticed less snow slams that's because the slam visual is accurate unlike before but this is a really bad Band-Aid fix for Slam in my opinion and what they have should have done was make it so Doom slam comes out at the end of his animation that way you don't have to deal with this terrible camera lock and we can rely on his slim visual for accuracy let me show you another thing about slam notice how Doom slam comes out first before the animation is complete the way it works before was Doom slam visuals came out at the end of the slam animation but the real slam came out much earlier this means you would notice many more noo slams back then because the slam visuals was incorrect but instead of syncing the real slam to a slam animation and slam visuals they decided to show the real slam visual while keeping the slam animation out of sync which makes no sense to me and then they added this camera lock it'll do anything but fix the actual problem you're fixing an issue but creating another one in the process all you have to do is match the real slam to the slam visual ws and match those two to the animation of Slam anyways I hope that made sense it took me a while to figure out don't forget to subscribe and the doomfist bug list is up to date so shout out to cream for that you can check the bug list in the description and comments there's a link there uh doomfist has around 51 bugs now according to what we believe is a bug yeah see you
