in this video I'm going to show you how to replace the front grill on this Ford F-150 there are six 10 mm nuts at the top let's remove all of them keep following them along and then there are six T25 screws on the bottom they hold the grill onto this brace here remove them [Music] all now it's got a trim tool and with everything unbolted the grill will want to pull out but it's not going to come off of the hood because there are actually metal Clips all along the top here for which you'll need a trim tool most likely if you can get them off by just prying the grill that's great but a lot of times you do need a trim tool use something plastic and uh if you are worried about scratching the hood even with the plastic trim tool put some tape down that'll usually protect the paint basically we want to pry up over here the clips are aiming straight down here we go last one all right and here is your grill now to take the badge off if you want to reuse it you have these two plastic pins there are three actually there's one in the middle but these two have these tabs that lock this badge in you'd have to pry the tab up and at the same time press down on this there we go that'll unlock it do the same on this side press up on the tab and down on the badge once you go down far enough on both sides it should pop out the other side there it is and now if you had your new grill you would put some double-sided tape on or the special sticky foam that they provide and Slide the badge in make sure it's seated all the way and let's get the grill on the truck now take the grill line up all the push Clips with the holes in the hood once it lines up press it down all right now open up the hood so we can bolt it on from underneath I'll start with the lower ones make sure the grill is lined up put these in and snug them up keep in mind they're going into plastic so once they get snug don't tighten them more or you'll strip the plastic and they won't hold now let's put back the six mounting nuts at the top and there you have it when only the best will do demand trq the only company that lets you view before you do trq is committed to offering the highest quality aftermarket auto parts that are engineered with peace of mind thanks for using and viewing with trq
