On this video we are using JRC ECDIS and we're going to show how to create route plan directly on the ECDIS display. First thing we're going to show is to select the sea areas and the required waters for planning the whole passage. Then to do that you miss the mouse and the scroll bowl. For example you choose to make a passage plan in Japan. so look for Japan by scroll scrolling it and to zoom it in you may use the zoom in and zoom out button on the upper right corner or left corner of the monitor of the egg disk then locate the desired position or see areas Using the zoom in, there you go.
Now after selecting an area, we're going to show how to construct a root. by inputting waypoint directly on the xdisk display now to do that let's go to main menu press menu then choose route planning route planning press new now to input directly waypoint on the display you can see a button written a route and if you point it it will show add waypoint on route just click it now you can see the mouse will change so you can enter the waypoint using the mouse the mouse already just position the mouse on the desired position of your first waypoint then press left click Then, position your mouse on your desired waypoint again to the next waypoint, then left click. If you want to scroll, just hold the left key, then scroll it.
Then, position your mouse or the mouse to the desired position, then left click. And you may scroll it then left click. If you want to end entering or plotting the waypoint just press right click then it will end entering a waypoint. Now to adjust the route by graphically editing the waypoint Just point the mouse on the desired waypoint you want to edit then press right click on the mouse choose move waypoint Now you can now move the waypoint on the desired location you want to plot it if you already Located the position on the waypoint just press left click now to obtain track courses and distance from the chart in order for you to transfer all the datas about your route planning to the passage plan or onto your printout you may located it into the route planning table all the waypoint information the courses distance the cross track distance including arrival radius, turning radius, plan speed, you may locate it in the route planning table.
The next is to set alarm setting as vessel is proceeding along the monitored route. You can change the value of the course rack distance from the route by clicking the decide or entering the desired value for example 0.15 here then press enter then you may check if it changed for example here so the cross track distance on the port side changed to 0.15 or 1.5 now that is how we modify the setting on the cross track in the previous save route but if you want to save the route just press save then enter the desired file name for example this is August 20 24 just press enter then press save then file name already exists just overwrite it if you want so to open the file go open then click the file name then open now it will now load it to the chart so that's it that's how we create root plan directly on the egg this display
