AAP01 Disassembly and Reassembly Guide

Introduction

Disassembly Process

Initial Steps

1. Eject the Magazine: Remove the magazine and set it aside.
2. Split the Pistol into Upper and Lower Halves.
   • Upper assembly: bolt, nozzle, hop, barrel, screws.
   • Lower assembly: hammer assembly, frame.

Upper Assembly

1. Remove Rear Iron Sights
   • Unscrew two screws, lift off the sights and keep them safe.
2. Extract the Bolt Assembly
3. Disassemble Bolt Assembly
   • Remove two screws, extract plastic block and nozzle return spring.
   • Take out recoil spring and guide rod.
   • Remove nozzle from the bolt.
   • Disassemble the nozzle (remove pin, valve, and valve spring).
4. Fire Select System
   • Held by a screw, remove it to access the system.
   • Fire select and sear rub against each other to switch firing modes.
5. Reassembly of Bolt Assembly
   • Reassemble in reverse order: install spring and valve in nozzle, nozzle into bolt, screws, and fire select system.
   • Reattach recoil spring and guide rod.

Hop-Up and Barrel Assembly

1. Remove Hop-Up Unit
   • Take out two screws to free outer barrel and hop-up unit.
   • Detach hop-up unit (two more screws need removal).
2. Front Sight and Thread Protector
   • Remove thread protector and front sight.
3. Dismantle Hop-Up Unit
   • Unscrew components, separate inner barrel, and hop bucking.
4. Reassemble Hop-Up Unit
   • Align components properly, reinstall screws and cogs.
5. Reassemble Upper Assembly
   • Combining outer barrel, hop-up, and reinstall in upper receiver.
   • Refit bolt and rear iron sight.

Lower Assembly

1. Begin Disassembly
   • Remove side screws, safety switch, and front screws.
   • Extract pins and parts methodically.
2. Handle Trigger Spring and Bolt Release Lever
   • Deal with spring tension carefully.
3. Remove Trigger Mechanism
   • Take out pins, keep thumb over parts under tension.

Reassembly

   • Follow careful steps to align parts, including springs and pins.
