welcome to aamu's new sso portal i'm going to show you some features that allow you to get up to speed and be able to navigate through the portal with ease first i want to show you the dashboard where you click on the dashboard and you see what's happening within your feeds okay here there are activities whatever you have going on during that day or what's happening the notices you have tasks completed tasks announcements here is where you can join a group discover new friends you can add people to your list and of course events that are happening on campus okay as you see there are graduation um housing all of those things where you can navigate here so these is student friendly as well as faculty and staff friendly here for faculty and staff let's discuss that on the side you see tools if we go to view all you see all of the tools that you have available to you depending on your access level so here i'm going to go to banner if i want my banner to come up in my shortcuts i can select the star place it there and now banner is one of my shortcuts as you see the star allows you to add shortcuts to your sidebar here okay now if you are doing requisitions uh things that require banner 9 i would suggest that you add this to your shortcuts so you'll have it easily accessible everyday tools okay you have the amu calendar or porch code if there are apps that you are using on the virtual side you want to add that apps anywhere people are still using that but of course you want to use our new portal here you have the blackboard this is something that's very uh accessible for teachers and students the bulldog alert portal of course if there is emergencies those things can be added to your shortcuts here as you see they are in alphabetical order so of course as you go down you have degree works you have uh class schedule where you can look up the class schedule you also have the option to add other things like laserfiche as i click down you see i'm adding these things to my shortcuts for secretaries for faculty and staff there are facility work orders that you need there's something that you need to add a work order those things are available for you here for students you will see the graduation clearance status library database for a book they're looking for all of these things are available right here all you will do is go to your everyday tools it's right here on the side you click their view all and that app will come up that drop down excuse me will come up so you will be able to see those apps and you can add them to your shortcuts
