[Music] [Music] hello i'm christoph i've had the privilege to be part of this organization for over two decades working with amazing people and leaders like john thanks christoph i remember when the two of us joined this company more than 20 years ago at the beginning of the millennium so much has changed since then but so many good things have still remained the same you're right i'm proud that we've been able to create a culture that combines the truly caring part with a high performance orientation that marries our roots as a family company with a world-class ambition our four values are not lip service they are truly our dna courage teamwork integrity and commitment they guide everything we do and create a strong sense of belonging absolutely we really are a special place to work at hilti team members can just be themselves they can build on their strengths and they can with that reach their full potential in the team you know i think this is at the core of why so many incredible people choose to work for hilti for so many years and combine that with our commitment to innovation digital transformation and sustainability that puts us in a great position to build a better future for everyone it's a standout feature of hilti that we play such importance on innovation and we invest the most in our industry into innovation we bring this to market with a purely direct selling mode and that allows us to truly understand the customer needs right now we are adding a major software play helping our customers digitize how they work and with us run their businesses better we developed this software in-house but also together with the leading startups in this field i mean working with startups is just so much fun but next to that it's also brought us forward in other cutting-edge technologies like robotics like battery technology and like iot and then sustainability we are committed to be the most sustainable company in our field with regard to our impact on environment people and society and we're well on our way co2 for example we've already reduced 50 of our co2 emissions compared to 2019 and fully committed to being co2 neutral by 2023 as you know and i tell you we are damn committed to doing that this is truly not for the gallery sustainability is anchored across all organizational units and our people love it they're truly engaged and each and every one is encouraged to do their part for example we have just launched our global volunteering initiative engaged beyond business that empowers our team members worldwide to invest and to drive local projects with time and company money that really make a difference on the local level now globally and on a much larger scale the hilti foundation drives social change with projects that help people from underprivileged backgrounds and emerging countries find their way over time to a more self-determined and independent life the fact that our company the company that the two of us work for makes such a difference also in this field is something that truly motivates me and makes me proud and if you do so too then this is where your best belongs you
