Essential Gear

1. Tripod
   • Holds the camera steady.
   • Affordable options are available that work well.
   • Look for tilt and pan capabilities.
2. Mini Tripod or Selfie Stick
   • Useful for holding phones or lightweight cameras like GoPros.
   • Recommended over GoPro due to wide-angle lens.
   • Alternatives: GorillaPod, which has flexible legs and can be mounted in various places.
3. Counterweight
   • DIY option: an old sock filled with rice.
   • Used to stabilize the tripod or mini tripod.

Setup Options

Setup 1: Basic Table with Wall

• Materials: Boxes or books, small tripod, counterweight.
• Horizontal Recording:
  1. Stack boxes/books at the far end of the table.
  2. Place small tripod on boxes.
  3. Use counterweight to stabilize.
• Vertical Recording:
  1. Move boxes/books to the left or right side of the table.
  2. Adjust tripod as needed.

Setup 2: Over-the-Shoulder Shot

• Materials: Standard tripod.
• Steps:
  1. Position tripod behind and to the side, tilting downwards.
  2. Adjust height and angle to avoid interference with the chair.
  3. Ensure the camera is positioned to avoid blocking the drawing hand.

Setup 3: Tripod on Table

• Materials: Standard tripod.
• Steps:
  1. Place tripod on table, legs expanded.
  2. Tilt camera downwards to capture drawing area.
  3. Works best with a larger table.

Setup 4: Open Space in Front of Table

• Materials: Standard tripod, optionally counterweight.
• Steps:
  1. Position tripod in front of the table.
  2. Tilt camera downwards.
  3. Stabilize with counterweight if necessary.

Setup 5: Front-Facing Over-the-Shoulder Shot

• Materials: Standard tripod.
• Steps:
