Managing Contacts on the iPhone
Overview
You can manage contacts on an iPhone using two apps:
Phone App
Contacts App
Both apps allow:
Adding contacts
Creating lists

View all contacts and lists
Edit contact details

Voicemail
: Access voicemail messages
Managing Contact Accounts
Multiple accounts can manage contacts:
iCloud
Gmail
Yahoo
Set up accounts in
Settings > Apps > Contacts > Accounts
Prefer using one account to avoid duplicates
Example: Use iCloud
Editing Contacts
Tap on a contact to view details
Edit Contact
option to:
Add/remove information like phone numbers, addresses
Change ringtone
Add notes
Find and Merge Duplicates

Search for duplicates and merge data
Sorting and Displaying Contacts
Sort Order

can be set in Settings:
Sort by first or last name
Display as first name last or last name first

Share your name and photo with contacts
