welcome we would like to proudly introduce you to the next generation of dat load boards the updated dat power offers a robust set of tools designed to help with all of your Freight matching needs and within the convenience of your preferred web browser let's take a look at the new features when you first log in you will be brought to the power home screen here we have made it easier to see what is new and what could be coming soon if you don't see a change you have been thinking about you can easily check out the most popular feedback or give us feedback using the blue feedback button at the bottom left of each page whether you are a broker or a carrier posting loads or trucks that you have available is the single best way to let available brokers and carriers know who you are how to contact you and what you are advertising access the posting screen by clicking the post tab at the top and let's take a look at what you will see if you have no postings the posting forum will automatically open or you can start a posting to da T's database by clicking on the green new load truck post in the upper left corner this forum will allow you to provide the important details needed to find this freight or truck in the database remember when posting the more details you provide such as commodity rate etc the more efficient your contact with those senior posting will be when posting take note that all the weights are no longer in thousands of pounds they are set as pounds so you can enter in a more precise weight you can use the letter K as a shortcut for thousands need to edit your posting just click on the posting that you would like to update and you will see a blue edit button on the bottom right of the posting when you are editing a post you can edit any of the fields you need to click Save and your posting will be updated with your changes once you have posted you will need to manage your postings with dat power we have made managing your postings easier in the top right corner you can list all of your postings or just those with a particular status like posted or unposted you can also sort your postings by clicking any of the titles in the list header you can perform many actions on the posting itself by simply clicking on what you want to do including keep your postings so you can reuse it refresh the age toggle the status between posted and unposted and roll over the date so your posting is searchable for another day to see more information on the posting or to access the edit copy delete and match actions simply click elsewhere on the posting if you want to perform the action on multiple postings click in the boxes to the left of the postings and use the drop down in the header under the new post button from here you can refresh rollover delete UNPO stand keep multiple postings looking for the custom match button on the lower right corner of an expanded posting you'll see a magnifying glass button when you click this button a new search will be created from your load or truck info this brings us to your second most-used task and dat power searching creating a new search is very similar to posting your truck or load access the search screen by clicking one of the search tabs at the top and let's take a look at what you will see if you have no searches the search form will automatically open or you can start a new search to da t's database by clicking on the green new lo truck search in the upper left corner fill out the criteria for what you are looking for and click the blue search button your search results will now show below all searches and dat power are run as a combination of an active search and a smart search this means that the search will continue to look for more results until it reaches its limits of 1000 results you will notice that you could have exact matches and similar matches the difference is the similar matches will have one or more feel that do not match your search exactly these differences will be highlighted in gray once you find a post that you're interested in you'll want to know more information about that company clicking on the company name can help you make a quick determination on whether or not the loader truck will meet your requirements when you click on a company name you'll be able to see if any reviews have been written on the office CSA basically R broker credit scores and days to pay are displayed on the left and on the right you can mark the office as one that you prefer or one that you'd like to block prefer an office that you like doing business with to make your matches stand out with an orange heart icon in all of your searches when you block an office that you do not wish to do business with their postings are first highlighted with a red no icon and afterward are removed from all of your searches another feature is the ability to turn audible alarms on and off at the click of your mouse these alarms are just for an alert sound all searches and dat power will continue to add new results regardless of the alarm settings to enable an audible alarm click on the bell on the left side of the search the bell will turn orange when a new match occurs you'll hear an alarm chime to disable the alarm click on the same Bell icon it will go back to gray now you will not hear any noise when the new postings come in on that search want to refine your search criteria to find more valuable results with dat power you can adjust your search with the refine your search pane on the right side of the screen if you do not see this box on your screen you can open it by clicking on the caret at the upper right corner of your searches this pane will allow you to make changes to many of your search criteria and lets you set additional filters on company information changing any of these will automatically update your search to the new criteria to edit more detail of the search click on the search to edit and click the blue edit button you will now be able to update any of the search fields looking for all the other amazing tools that you can get with dat power you can access powerful research tools from the toolbox icon in the top right of your screen finally we have made getting assistance with any issues easier than ever before you can click the question mark icon to access the Help Center and see how to contact us
