Mechanism of Action

  • Inhibits bacterial reproduction

  • Community-acquired pneumonia: 600 mg IV or orally every 12 hours for 10-14 days or 7-21 days for MRSA
  • Skin or subcutaneous tissue infections: 400 mg orally every 12 hours for 10-14 days
