    • Ibrahim is deeply loved by Allah, being the second most beloved creation after Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).

Prophet Ibrahim's Character and Contributions

  • Father of Prophets: Known as the father of prophets, Ibrahim is described as an "Ummah" meaning a leader and role model.
  • Characteristics:
    • Qanitan lillahi (devoted to Allah)
    • Hanifan (turned away from polytheism to monotheism)
    • Shakiran li an'umih (grateful for Allah's blessings)
  • Shukr (Gratitude) Components:
    • Affirmation of the blessings from Allah
    • Attribution of the blessings to Allah, not oneself
    • Using the blessings to please Allah

  • Idol Worship Context: Ibrahim grew up in a society that worshipped idols, the sun, moon, and stars.

Ibrahimโ€™s Daโ€™wah (Prophetic Call)

  • Approach: Started with his family, emphasizing politeness and respect, even towards his father, an idol worshiper.
  • Main Message: Calling people away from shirk (associating partners with Allah) towards Tawheed (monotheism).

  • Highest Rank in Heaven: Seen at the highest level in the heavens during the event of Isra and Mi'raj.
