what's going on YouTube it's Q back here again with another video for you in today's video I'm here to talk about the things that I hate about my 2024 nd3 Mazda Miata so disclaimer I always got to throw one of these out there when I do this video of course I don't hate the car it's just for the purpose of this video now this car is amazing but it's not perfect and I'm here to highlight the flaws of the Miata so bear with me on this one you know how we do we do this with every single car so let's not act brand new I got the six-speed manual Zircon sand Grand Touring soft top so should I have't gotten the RF some days I regret it some days I don't but this car has been amazing I just got to put that out there but in this video we're about to highlight some of the downfall some of the negatives of this car before I get into it don't forget to like comment subscribe hit the Bell browse the channel let's jump into it now that I got the preface out the way there's a ton of love about this car but a few things that I hate about the car some negatives about it so one of the first things and this don't bother me I got a cutor a color I'm satisfied with but the palette of these Miatas is not the greatest for a car to be this is probably the most fun car that I have driven today it does have quite the boring palette like this Zer con sand it is it's a different color it's new for 23 but the best colors that I do think well the only best color is that so red that color is so Dynamic it goes from a bright red to a dark red but the palette is okay for a car like this but I'm satisfied with my color another thing now I know a lot of people can't fit in this car and that sucks to be you those who are close to the Lord but I can fit in here I can it ain't my problem that's your problem but one of the things talking off the height there is a little bit of a drawback being that uh this is a small my car let me show you when I enter the Miata and I got my hair up in the bun I'm 6 feet well 511 I'm going to whack I like got to tilt my head to the side my bun is going to get whacked regardless of what I do and that's how it becomes a little bit messy but once I'm in here it's okay I got like two or three finger spaces between my bun and the ceiling so I'm okay once I'm inside but it's that initial get in the Miata it's going to uh mess up my hair and if you're taller that's gonna be your head being whacked so the thing about this car it is big enough for a person of my frame if you're a little bit bigger you won't be able to make it in here so I think 62 63 depending on how long your torso is or how long your legs are this might not be a car you can fit in so thankfully for me I can fit in here and I'm okay I got the seat all the way back so I'm at The Outer Limits I'm in like the 100% tile of those that can fit in this car not my butt though that thing that's how my butt is always is messy when I start these videos just getting in this car whacking it it's like my fourth time getting out the car I forgot the cords to my microphone but with the top down you ain't got to worry about that and you can also let the top down from outside the car so that's a great plus if you don't want to mess up your hair if you got your hair all nice and uh well most do y'all got hair you balding sorry check out my hair products Drew another thing about the spacing and I didn't realize this till I let the toofer drive the car and I had to ride a shotgun it is not a lot of space on this passenger side cuz they got this hump the Bulge you can see even the carpet's cut out for this bulge somebody said it's for the subwoofer somebody say it's the transmission I don't know man these me out of videos I'll be hearing a lot of inaccuracy I'll say one thing that somebody said and somebody say it's wrong I don't know what this is but somebody said it was a subwoofer and I tend to believe that something with the subwoofer and also I got my cup holder here for when it's just me and here I got my cup holder riding on the side but when it's when I got a passenger which is rare I got to put it right up here and that's fine but let's check out the space once I get inside and this bun is just about to be I might as well just let my hair down at this point but sitting over here it is definitely more cramp can I slide this thing back okay had one more Notch to go so my foot isn't or my knee isn't in the dash anymore but this cup holder is going to have to move cuz I feel like it would break if it's uh too too many g-forces hitting on that thing and the leg space it's quite cramped not a whole lot of room but you definitely going to have to remove that there you go Al Bundy time yeah do you need the space down here I don't know if you got big feet you might not be well we got some room but it's not a ton of room and there's some intrusion over here so if you're claustrophobic this Miata woo you might not want one of these the third negative about the Miata is going to be this do hickey right here the key5 now the key F5 itself is fine and if you got a automatic version you're not going to have remote start on here that's what all moders you got to download the app to get the remote start feature which I don't like at all but we got the manual so we don't have automatic start to go with but this key fob sometimes when I'm just sitting in the car it'll just be like key fob not found I'm like yo my key fob is right here why isn't it registering and sometimes I'll be at the trunk trying to open it it just won't recognize the key fob I don't know if that's just something I'm experiencing on my own but the key file I think it needs to be stronger or whatever I got in my pockets be uh see look at it got to press it a few times it's just not the best for me so I don't know if it's me and the other stuff I got in my pockets which is just another got a couple keys in the wallet that that's all I got when I'm carrying my MERS sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't it's just I don't know man let me know if you got a problem with the key F5 not recognizing the car and while I'm nitpicking we got these incandescent bulbs we got one right here one in the trunk this is 2024 so I'm going to need LEDs for a car but let me start it up so I can show you the next thing so we know that I have the Grand Touring version and with that comes this automatic climate control and I've been driving this car for like 30 minutes already today and with it set on auto I feel like it just never slows down the fan speed it's always blowing it like maximum now maybe I got to drive it an hour for it to lower down but I find myself always just rotating this dial to not be on auto CU it's just always blowing as high as it can now I know that the temperature is set to low but even still it's going to blow high and I feel like it just never slows down it kind of defeats the purpose of having a Grand Touring cuz this is one of the features that you do get now I don't even know what Auto does for the climbing position where where is auto where is that going to set the fan speed is just going to blow as hard as it can for as long as it can I wish it was would slow down some times man I've been in here for a while and it's not even hot in here anymore but yeah there's that fan speed the auto part not that automatic just High it might as well just be up here another thing I'm about to nitpick about come on guys I had to go searching I had to make a video long enough to post about but this thing and this is the serious thing the volume rocker on here is so cheap feeling like when I want to increase the volume or skip a track sometimes I end up just pressing it in the middle and that just ends up muting my music so it's kind of hard it's like a little bit of an angle on the top and bottom but I find myself pressing the end more as opposed to rocking it to turn the volume up and down and that that gets a little irritating as well as the location here now I realize we ain't got that much real estate in here so I find my arm always hitting on here and it always pauses my music so I'm pausing my music in two different ways so ergonomically speaking this control CER right here is in a ter spot but we have nowhere else to place it and I feel like their the button orientation is different than the other monsters but in here yeah these are cheap feeling flimsy it's not reassuring same with the skip tracks if I press the info button it doesn't really matter to me cuz all it's going to do is change this gauge up there so I can live with that but pause my music we do not stop the party we don't like to stop the party in here whatsoever last but not least it's going to be this soft top not the soft top itself cuz this is The Grand Tour it's got a little more sound deing or insulation on it but just how loud it gets in the car when I'm driving it's not the worst but it does get pretty loud I got to find myself talking louder when I'm on the phone which I'm offing on the phone when I'm driving so the sound deadening is not going to be the greatest you're going to get a lot of noise in here got to crank the music up a little bit higher once you're on the highway especially on the highway with the top down you expect that but with the top up the r hands down is going to be quieter soft top is louder and if you got the club trim it's going to be even louder than it is on this Grand Touring trim so buyer beware well it's not a deal killer none of these are deal breakers at all just letting you guys know if something irritates you it could be a deal breaker to somebody else like I said I bought the car put my money where my mouth is it's livable like you can live with the car all these things you might not notice on the test drive though but I'm just pointing it out to help you make the right decision for yourself to know what you're getting into and yes you do have to yell my voice gets raspy when I have to talk louder I don't like to talk loud at all so you definitely notice it on the phone fatigues my voice my vocal cord is get strange I to talk on here Q you're going too far that's being extra it is what it is guys but that's all that I got to say about the Miata everything else in this car is going to excel the most fun that I have had in the car especially on the street so they did a lot right but with a car there's only 2300 you know you're not going to have a storage space in here and shout out to the hidden storage compartments Behind these seats here but there is not a lot of storage in here it's just you in the car horse and driver I don't know the Japanese version but I will learn it one day how do you say that in Japanese somebody let me know in the comment section and don't put it in Japanese script cuz I don't know how to read that either I don't know my my Japanese lettering that's it and that's all all the negatives I got about the Miata there could come another one or two later on in the future if those do come up I'll let you know in the update video the such and such mile marker or the one year whatever so that's all I got to say about that Forest gun voice so let me know what you think what do you hate most about your Miata what do you hate about the Miatas tall people do not apply because you can't even fit in here and I feel so sorry so so sorry for you shout out to race car Friends by the way who loves this car from afar but he cannot fit in let alone drive one of these such a bummer man but that's all I got to say I'm leave yall
