Narabar Palace Boss Fight Mechanics

Hi! I'm Hazel, and this is a guide to the Silken Court fight in Narabar Palace on Normal and Heroic difficulty. These two share health. Buckle up, it's a big fight. In Phase 1, Anub hits his tank with Piercing Strike. It leaves a debuff, so swap tanks. He does this for the entire fight. Call of the Swarm summons Scarab adds that fixate, kite them, disrupt them with CC, and kill them. Impaling Eruption is a frontal cone to avoid. Now and then, Anub burrows to a new spot to set up for Reckless Charge. That's a big, dangerous charge that we need to stop by blocking his path with webs. To get webs, we need to take a look at these knots of webs Takash has laid in the room. If you touch the knot in the middle, it does a 10-yard AOE and will bind you to another player standing within 10 yards. Your web buddy must be with you when you poke the knot. Once you're tied to your buddy, the two of you can carefully stretch your web across the charge pathway. If you get too far from your partner, the bond will snap, so move together and stretch the web just across the charge path. Tripping the boss once will stun him on normal, making him take 100% more damage for the next 12 seconds. Meanwhile, Takaj has been doing a couple other things. Venomous Rain marks a few players with AoEs, keep those off the raid, and Skittering Leap repositions the boss to make sure the melee got their steps in. After about two minutes, Takaj ports to the middle for our first intermission. She gets an Absorb Shield that we have to DPS through to move on. Meanwhile, she's lighting up the room with these webby Wedge attacks that we need to dodge. They take a few seconds to erupt, so stand on clean floor when you can, or on the most recent Wedge if you have to. There's also raid damage that gets bad if you take too long, so fire away. In Phase 2, a Nibirash doesn't charge but still does his Tank Buster, Summon Scarabs, and Cone attacks. Dikaj gets a few new moves. Web Vortex will yank the raid into her and web pairs of players together. Run from the boss, and in this phase you can just run apart to break your webs. She also gets a cone attack of her own. We have a new dispel mechanic for phase 2 called Stinging Swarm. This is a magic dot that jumps to the nearest target when it's dispelled. If it lands on Takaj, it gets a 14 second duration and three stacks of it will stun her. We need to use this to disrupt her ultimate in this phase, Cataclysmic Entropy. So she ports and starts charging up her Cataclysm. Players with Stinging Swarm need to run to her and get dispelled carefully. The boss must be closer to you than any player for the dispel or else you're just going to bounce the swarm around. Drop off 3 swarms on her to stun her and kick her cast. After about 2 minutes of phase 2, it's time for another intermission. Anub'Araj gets the shield this time, which we again need to damage through to move on. His Spike Storm has us dodging donuts. Break the shield and we're into phase 3, which is kind of a greatest hits from the first two phases. Nibirash gets his charge back and we once again need to stop it with webs, but instead of getting them from eggs, now we need to keep and use the webs that we get during the web vortex pull-in. Stinging Swarm and the Cataclysm cast are exactly the same, stun her with dispels just like you did in phase 2. Rings of Spikes need to be dodged, Frontal Cones need to be dodged, Unleashed Swarm is raid damage that gets scarier every time. It's a lot of fun. On Normal, that's the fight. On Heroic, the only difference is to stop the Reckless Charge, you need to trip him with two webs up from just one. It's the same deal, you just assign more web buddies to web duty. And that's the Silken Court! Thanks for watching, I've got more raid guides if you want them, and have a wonderful, wonderful day. Bye!
