so in this video we're going to quickly look at saving images uh from our studio um to your computer and then placing it into Say a Word document so for your uh for your lab report you might have it in a Word document so once I've created this image you're going to want to click the export button and you could technically either save it as an image or use copy to clipboard if you're on posa cloud I actually think copy to clipboard is the faster way to do this um and then depending on if you're on a PC or Mac this might be a little bit different um but I think you're going to um rightclick this image choose save as image and then you're going to save it to your computer somewhere so you can either choose to save it to your desktop if that's easiest for you to find it I'd recommend uh creating an R folder on your computer if you don't already have one or a stat 212 folder to save all of your r related things so so saving your images or your lab report stuff I think that's easiest so just for for fun I'll go ahead and create an R folder right here um it's going to go there I'm going to call this let's say I'll call it like lab one q1 you know this is not actually the first question of lab one but let's just say it is I'll save that and now it's going to be saved there on my computer so now if I have a Word document open um I should be able to go to the insert button go to pictures uh photo browser um or maybe actually sorry picture from file and I should be able to find that file that I just saved um except that I don't see it here because I am not in my documents there it is okay so if I go to documents and then I click R it should be right there or if you put it on your desktop you should be able to find it there as well so it's just confusing because I have two R folders that's part of the confusion going on here but then I should be able to click on that and then place it back into my word document all right so hopefully that helps one key thing though is please crop your image you could take a screenshot in that's fine if you take a screenshot but please crop the image of your screenshot we don't want to see like your your photo is not this entire screen please don't give us that uh please be sure that you're only selecting the relevant portion if there's a title make sure we can see the title make sure we can see the aces labels but don't get all this extra stuff in there
