hey everyone my name is Andrew Flagner and today I'm going to walk you through the nuts and bolts of real Scout and our brand new real Scout Pro Plus offering so today's presentation is all about how top real estate businesses are breathing life into a dormant market and how they are reigniting their database uh agenda is pretty straightforward we're going to talk about this concept of a dead a base which is a database of stale leads um and then we're going to go into how real Scout reignites that database and turns it into something a little more lively we'll talk about with real Scout you can capture leads and contacts how you can engage and nurture those folks and then finally how you can convert them into business and then finally we'll end on some proven Roi uh so with that you're probably wondering what is real Scout and how does it work well real Scout Works alongside your existing TCH stack and the way to think about the problem we solve is that every agent has a database and that database consists of buyers and sellers and for the vast majority of that database they're probably in between those buying and selling selling moments now we all know you want to nurture those folks and stay top of mind with them but there's just one problem when consumers want to know how much their home is worth or they want to see what their neighbor's house sold for or they want to see listings they're probably not coming to you or your agent website or your app they're probably going to one of the national portals to get those questions answered now this is a problem that agents have been facing for many years and it's also a problem that real Scout has been solving for many years so if you're not too familiar with real Scout we actually have over 100,000 customers we have millions of consumers that have access to the system and we've helped power billions of dollars of real estate transactions we've also won a ton of Awards in the industry most recently the anywhere Innovation Summit uh we were the grand prize winner there uh but if you follow risk media for instance we were named as one of the top six best real estate resources um docus sign was number two on that list real Scout was number one so first things first how do you get your clients and contacts into real Scout we are agnostic as to where these leads or contacts are coming from if you have past clients that you want to import into real Scout no problem if you have purchased leads and you want to integrate with the CRM and pull those in great if you have a sphere of influence you can add those as well and there are a lot of ways to get those folks into real Scout uh we have an outstanding partnership and integration with Moxy works for instance where you can backfill contacts into real Scout or single sign on from Moxy Works into our platform if you have agents who are using other crms like close or follow-up boss we have similar Integrations with those companies as well so step one is all about capturing contacts and getting them into the system in addition to our Integrations we have widgets that you can install on a website um and uh landing pages Etc uh but the way most folks get clients into the system these days is through a CRM integration or a spreadsheet upload which our team can help with now there are different ways to nurture clients on real Scout and you may be thinking well well I have people in my database who are buyers or sellers or somewhere in between so we're going to walk through each one of those scenarios beginning with how to nurture a buyer in your database so it's no uh agents are no stranger to creating listing alerts right in fact almost every agent out there has created a listing alert many of them do it in the MLS now if you've tried to create a listing Alert in an idx website product you've probably been disappointed for a couple reasons the first reason is that you may not find all the search criteria that you would find in the MLS because most idx feeds don't contain 100% of that those search Fields or that search criteria but with real Scout and most of the mls's we serve you're actually going to see all of the fields from the MLS the second reason why a lot of agents and especially consumers don't prefer these idx websites is they send listings Out hours after they hit the market and when we look at the data when we run our our experiments we see that Zillow redin and real Scout all send listings within a few minutes of each other um but many of these idx websites take a bit B longer so you can create a listing Alert in real Scout the same way you would in the MLS and you can do it manually that way a little later on in the presentation I'll show you how you can automate the creation of the listing alerts but first let's talk about what consumers will see once you create a listing alert for them so we have these natural language listing alerts that sound really personal and engaging and inviting these alerts are uh again created by the agent but for the consumer it looks like it was written by the agent and this one here says Hey Kevin here new listings that meet your needs featuring a view of the coastline Ocean Crest Drive has an ingr pool and a walk-in closet so again it sounds like it was handwritten and because of that these emails are just seeing through the roof engagement we're seeing 32% clickthrough rate on these emails and of course these these a these emails and the whole real Scout experience is going to be branded for your brokerage this Acme realy of course is just a placeholder your logo would go there and you'd have your head shot in there uh contact information Etc now these emails are just a gateway way into an immersive agent branded search experience and here there are no ads for other agents there are no distractions again it's just this private environment where you the agent can collaborate with clients there's all types of bells and whistles with real Scout uh when you're searching for a home of course you can see the commutes if you want to be near your child's school or near your favorite restaurant we're going to calculate the commutes to and from those points of interest a consumer can also designate which features they like for this home so in this case I love the kitchen of this home and I love the view and we also have a machine learning powered feature that allows for visual home search so when you click into a photo Carousel instead of clicking 30 times to find that picture of the kitchen you can literally just click on the word kitchen up here we'll show you the kitchen photographs if you want to see the bathrooms we'll show the bathroom photographs and what's really neat is you can compare two or three listings side by side and we automatically put them room by room so this is an Apples to Apples comparison where you can see the three kitchens of these three homes side by side it's a really beautiful an intuitive way to search for a home that consumers absolutely love of course we have map search we have custom shapes you can draw on the map in many markets we have school attendance boundaries so everything that consumers have come to expect on the national portals now you are going to equip them with we also have mobile apps that are really beautiful um these mobile apps are a great way to nurture your clients because when they want to view uh listings on a map uh they can do that they can even draw shape using their finger and have the pins populate they have a dashboard of all the listings that are hitting the market and they can even ask you questions or request showings directly through the mobile app so what we just talked about is how to nurture and engage buyers in your database um but let's switch gears and talk about how you would nurture a seller in your database so not not too long ago real Scout announced its home value alerts you might have seen it uh on Inman news or realestate news.com or housingwire uh these are are making some waves in the industry right now because of how effective they are in generating immediate results so if you have a database maybe you have hundreds or even thousands of people um you can set up these home value alerts manually one by one or automatically where we can take everyone in your database and send them these home value alerts now these home value alerts are all designed to drive leads back to you from your database so this one includes the zillow's estimate because let's face it your consumers are going to go to Zillow anyway to see what their home is worth but we put that next to another data provider and show that there's a discrepancy between what Zillow thinks and what this other company thinks the home is worth and the reason we do that is to really shed light on the fact that an algorithm is not the best way to price a home and that they should reach out to you the real estate professional to make sense of the market and to make sense of the neighborhood all these alerts work great on mobile so it has a mobile experience and a web experience so we talked about how to capture clients and get them into real Scout through our Integrations and then we talked about how to nurture clients that are maybe buyers and also nurture potential sellers but most a agents most teams have databases that consist of people that are somewhere in between those buying and selling transactions and we have developed something called auton nurture to uh to take care of that so with auto nurture what you can do is you can designate a group of your CL contacts or you can just have all of your contacts get Auto nurtured and we will generate those home value alerts automatically if we have a homeowner address we will generate those natural language listing alerts if we know the property inquiry address let's just say that a client came in from Zillow and you know what property they were looking at well now we will automatically create one of those alerts so we can you know funnel traffic back to you but if we don't know anything about those consumers and you don't know their address for instance um we will set them down a path of nurture and what that looks like is we will prompt them and say hey do you want to view new listings great if they start viewing new listings we're going to pick up on Clues on their search and we're going to create those listing alerts if they say they want to track their home's Val value we're going to prompt them and ask them for their address and start to send those home value alerts so everything we talked about so far is how to nurture people in your database regardless of where they are in their client life cycle but where the rubber hits the road is step three and that's where you can convert more business um we are not going to leave it to chance uh that an agent is going to log into the system and see the activities so we will push notify you when something important happens we'll send an email when something important happens like when a client wants to request a showing or has a question about their home's value uh again we'll push notify you but when you log into real Scout you'll you'll start to to see the client activity populate here as well and then for select crms we can actually funnel this activity data activity data back to the CRM uh so you can have it all in one place so we recently looked at 60,000 agents in their production we found that agents who were using real Scout we're doing 54% more transaction volume than agents who are not and so um obviously if you're clients are searching with you or checking out their home value with you that's going to be good for business compared to if they were doing it on thirdparty sites where they're seeing advertisements for your competitors so there you have it that is how top real estate businesses are breathing life into a
