Okay, so I want to talk a little bit about how to fold the corporal and unfold it correctly. The reason why the corporal exists is to make sure that if there are any particles, any crumbs of the host, that they stay inside. So the way we handle the corporal is very important, and we want to make sure that always whatever stays inside stays inside. It's kind of like Las Vegas. So the corporal, you don't flip it over, you don't flip it to the side, you just always let it be Assuming it's been folded correctly, on this side here is going to be this fuzzy opening.
This is going to be where that is. So this, so I'm holding it in front of me, and this is forward and correctly up. This is the right orientation, so that I should be able to go to the altar and put it down.
And it goes there. Some of the corporals have a nice little cross right here, which you want to think of as being right on the axis of the church. So, after it is set down, fold it, open, and open. Then, up and down. Now the corporal is open, unfolded, and ready to be used.
Things never to do. Never do one of these things. Because of course, that would be the thing. If there's anything inside, it has to stay inside. And also, if it happens to be folded incorrectly, just kind of elegantly put it to where it needs to go.
It's not the best, but best always is to fold it correctly. So folding it is also very important. How's the way to fold it?
This is the way to fold it. First up, then down, then the right one first, and then the left side. Then it's folded up exactly like we unfolded it.
Again, this rough edge, this open edge, is here. It's on my right, and it's on the right side of the corporal. So that we can put it away, take it back, and same thing.
Open up. One, two, Up, down, and back it up, down, two. And that's how to fold a corbel.
Okay.
