Views on Christianity

• Felt uncomfortable with the worship of Jesus.

Discovering Islam

• Began watching videos about Islam.
  • Watched videos on miracles of the Quran.
  • Listened to various suras (chapters) and passages in the Quran.
• Noted the fundamental principles of Islam and how they differ from Christianity.
  • Islam emphasizes worshiping God alone without intermediaries.

The Confusion in Christian Beliefs

• Christians believe Jesus is both the Son of God and God himself.
  • Many believe one has to go through Jesus to reach God.
• Introduction of the Holy Spirit further complicates the belief system.

Spectrum of Divinity Example

• Compared belief in God to a spectrum.
  • Jesus is at one end (pure connection to God).
  • Satanism is at the other end (total absence of God).
  • Humans fall somewhere along this spectrum.
• Jesus as a living example of pure connection to God.

Critique of Christian Practices
