guys we're making this video because Kelly and I were just discussing the other day and we're really talking about it we're on a nice walk and we're just saying like once we started doing these videos and once we started learning and progressing and actually learning more about Islam what the belief systems are of Islam what you know it truly actually changed us in the way that we started viewing Christianity because right you know for some time we were just we didn't know that Islam was there but I was thinking hey this stuff doesn't really necessarily sit right with me like the worship of Jesus because yes I love Jesus you know and I respect Jesus and what he did of course but one of the things was was like I just don't see him as God I just see him as you know being that's close to God and like my brother but when people are just worshiping him on the cross and this and that and he died for our sins I just never resonated with that so then we fast forward we start learning more about Islam and we start watching the videos we start watching the the the um the Miracles of the Quran we start watching just listening to some of the different suras and the different uh you know passages in the Quran and what we started paying attention to what was actually being said in the fundamental principles of Islam and that's what people don't understand that's why on this channel we try and get as many people to watch the videos and understand the videos as possible because we want other people to truly understand what we understood and have that aha moment where now it truly does seem like just straight up idol worship because there's multiple different people that are being worshiped in Christianity it's not just Jesus it's Mary it's you know the sometimes even the Holy Spirit I mean it's just different things that people are praying to instead of just praying to God because even if you believed that Jesus was God why would you be praying to Jesus and not just God because Jesus no longer exists in this world Jesus was a human being so if Jesus is gone and let's just say Jesus is back to being God why would you even be worshiping the human that was why wouldn't you just be worshiping God only and talking to God only understanding God only yeah I mean it can get pretty convoluted because you know Christians essentially believe that Jesus is the son of God but also basically is God and then many many Christians also believe that you have to go through Jesus to heaven to be God like you you basically have to go through Jesus you know and it's it's interesting and then when you bring in the whole concept of the holy spirit it's just things can get kind of again just convoluted almost kind of watered down at times when you start bringing in that many layers and things but also I mean we both feel that Jesus is the example of of what we can all be when you are just in the pure connection to God and like if you if you think of it on a spectrum right like for example you know just as an example to concept like Democrat Republican right so like even here but you can be kind of like somewhere on the spectrum between like two radicals so if we think of that as like over here is fully with God 100% as much as you possibly can be and over here is totally not with God totally with shaan and I don't know Satanist basically and then so Jesus is here and we're all somewhere along this spectrum and he is a living example of what it's like when you say no to all that and you're just here totally with God completely and how what kind of person you can be when you are that and when you're emanating that and how good it can be so that's the way we see it and we truly believe that Jesus wouldn't even want to be worshiped in this way you know and furthermore it's just yeah you know this it's always a big thing of Jesus on the cross these big statues in the churches and it's like of course I get it because you know it's supposed to be this huge action sacrifice he did but also I don't really I don't believe in sacrificing for the greater good I don't believe those things are in candem with each other I don't think anything has to be sacrificed for something good to happen I don't believe that and number two I mean it's like yeah I get the Christian concept of why they would like to see Jesus on the cross as their statue but again it's like even if you do want to make a statue of him whatever why is it him dying on the cross you know what I mean like why not have a statue of him doing his best work with like healing someone or something you know what I mean like like it's this is the way the Romans chose to kill him you know what I mean like it's almost bringing in like a Roman practice in in a way you know what I mean like to even even acknowledge it in a way and and have it in the Christian church but it was the Roman concept to kill him you know what I mean so it just gets a little yeah because it's all about the death that's why it's like really a religion about it's a religion about death I think it should be about life it should be about that he did rise he did come back that's what I believe it should be about not about he died and so therefore you know we're you know going to show him on the cross we're going to display it on the churches and that always made me uncomfortable when I was a kid I was like why is he because it just looks like just pure like you know suffering and negativity and it's not showing any of the good stuff it's just like you know would make you like you know this is and it's like without even understanding what happened or what's going on it's just not the best image in my opinion so yeah oh go ahead go ahead I was just gonna say but yeah I mean as we learn about Islam it's like it almost just kind of opens your eyes more like kind of those Awakening type things when you just you're seeing differently when you look at things and then you just start thinking about how you know the church is set up and then like in in uh Cath aism you take the Holy Eucharist and you're literally doing a ritual eating the body of Christ and drinking the blood of Christ that's literally what we say in Catholicism when when you D the bread and the wine yeah you do I think like a lot of Christians do that not even just Catholicism okay I wasn't sure but yeah yeah I mean I mean we for sure bread not those packets yeah do you have like little packets no we would Catholics have a glass of wine and everybody drinks out of it and they just wipe it yeah I don't drink the wine I mean alcohol kind of sterilizes things a little bit but it's I don't know that's kind of gross you know just cuz I'm like a germaphobe kind of guy so you know I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it like can I have my own cup or can I you know do something else but right but yeah so you know we're just you know we're talking about it and we're just like man we can't even look at it the same way I mean we've been our minds are completely you know changed and open to uh to seeing what's out there and that's why it's important to just look at all different kinds of religions that's why on this channel we still cover all religions because whether you want to look at them for deah or what whether you just want to learn more about them I think everybody should have all the information that they need and that's why it's so beautiful to have subscribers like we have because you know our subscribers they they're smart people and they're so open and they're so polite and so nice so we always respect that and are open to that so you know we just wanted to hop in and tell you guys and have a little discussion and see what you guys think and trust me guys we still are going to watch
