Kentucky Summit of Assessment
- Purpose: Meet federal and state testing requirements
- Grades Tested: 3-8, 10, 11
- Subjects: Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Editing & Mechanics, On-Demand Writing
- Participation Exceptions: Alternate assessments, medical non-participation
Scheduling
- Scheduling Tool: KSA Items and Times Chart
- Testing Window: Last 14 days of instruction
- Order: Quality of School Climate and Safety Survey (QSCS) first, followed by content areas
- Makeup Sessions: Flexible scheduling within testing window
- Extended Time: Available for students with IEPs, 504s, or PSPs
Pearson Access Next (PAN)
- Student Data: Ensure Infinite Campus is updated
- Resources: PAN user guides and training modules
- Test Sessions: Creation begins March 24
Student Testing
- Order: Must follow testing sequence
- Logout Procedures: Important to follow correct sign-out steps
- Student Honor Code: Acceptance required pre-test
