SAP Provisioning System Lecture Notes

Overview

Key Changes in Provisioning System

  • Effective from 2020, 80-90% inbuilt settings available for:
    • Universal/Global features.

Creating Super Admin Access

  1. Login Process

    • Requires valid user ID and password.

  2. Accessing Development Environment

  3. Activating Production Environment

    • Navigate back to company settings to activate features for Production.

  • Recommended usernames include roles like:
    • Super admin, System admin, EC admin, etc.

User Creation Process

  1. Creating Username
    • Example of a valid username: sfc_admin.
  2. Password Setup
    • Set a secure password.
  3. User Information
    • First Name, Last Name, Email ID must be specified.
  4. Confirmation
    • Customer's IT head/admin should be notified.

Managing Roles and Permissions

  • Major permissions for super admins:

RBP (Role-Based Permissions) Settings
