  • Ensure the printer is powered on and has an LCD screen.
  • Press the setup/menu button (pliers and screwdriver icon) to access "Wireless LAN Setup."
  • Select "WPS Push Button" and press OK.
  • On your router, locate and press the WPS (or Sync) button until the indicator flashes.
  • Once the printer displays "connected," confirm by pressing OK and check for the Wi-Fi icon.

Method 2: Smartphone/Tablet App Setup

  • Download and install the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY app from the App Store or Play Store.
  • Agree to terms and allow required permissions in the app.
  • On the printer, enter "Wireless LAN Setup" and select "Easy WLConnect."
  • In the app, search for available printers and select your device.
  • Choose your wireless network from the list and enter the exact password.
  • Confirm the connection on the printer by pressing OK when prompted.

Method 3: Manual Setup on Printer

  • Power on the printer and access "Wireless LAN Setup" through the setup button.
  • Choose "Manual Connect" from the options.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network from the detected list and press OK.
  • Use the printer's number pad to carefully input your Wi-Fi password, switching modes for uppercase, lowercase, and numbers as needed.
  • Confirm when "connected" appears and verify the Wi-Fi icon on the display.

Additional Notes & Tips

  • The tutorial works for many Canon models with Wi-Fi and an LCD screen.
  • If your router lacks a WPS button, proceed with Method 2 or 3.
  • Password entry is case-sensitive; ensure accuracy in letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • For mesh routers, the Sync button may serve as the WPS button.
