this video is going to be uh on a teece trial 35% um that the doctor ordered for this patient good morning Mr Man my name is Suzanne I'm a respiratory therapy student your Physicians ordered a uh teece trial so let me go ahead and check your name and date of birth check his name everybody's name go ahead and wash my hands and put some gloves on okay going to go ahead and connect my uh corated tubing and my aerosol container and set it to 35 and it needs 8 l so I'm going to set the flow meter to eight okay okay Mr man I'm just going to put this here real quick while I go and disconnect the ventilator so I'm going to go ahead and put the vent on standby disconnect the ventilator set that aside put that there okay Mr man I'm just going to take a listen to you going to listen to my patient see how he's breathing okay I'm going to go around back Mr Man and through the other side and um when we do this cpce trial we're going to make sure that there's Mist continuously flowing through the tubing on this end which there is is and then making sure his saturations are staying good and not going down and then I'm going to document how long he's been on trial and how he did with it so we can let the physician up and we'll be back to check on you a little later okay Mr Man
